Introduction:
Crackdown 3: Wrecking Zone is your typical online versus multiplayer game with only two distinct modes, both of which have been seen in many other video games. However, this game is different because the environments are completely destructible and your character has super-human abilities.

Abbreviated Walkthrough:
Since there is no online community for this game, you will probably need to boost all the achievements, meaning that several people get together with the sole purpose of unlocking achievements and not playing as the game normally should. Refer to the next section for tips on how to boost.

To start a match, you need at least six people (3v3). You can have a maximum of 10 people (5v5). There are two modes to choose from: Agent Hunter and Territories. Each is pretty straightforward and standard online multiplayer modes.

In Agent Hunter, the goal of this mode is to collect badges that are dropped by the enemy when they are killed. You must collect 25 badges to win the game:

  • Collect badges dropped by killed enemies
  • Badges time out after 10 seconds. Defend any dropped by your team
  • First team to reach 25 badges wins
  • If the time runs out, the team with the most badges wins
In Territories, the goal of this mode is to capture territories and score the most points. The game ends when a team has reached 250 points:

  • Capture a neutral or enemy territory to score points for your team
  • Points accumulate until contested by an enemy team
  • Territories start with 50 points. Once depleted, a new one will become available
  • First team to reach 250 points wins
  • If time runs out, the team with the most points wins
There are three maps and are selected at random:

  • Blackout Zone
  • Hall of Heroes
  • Nova Station
For efficiency, it’s probably best to concentrate on one game mode at a time and when everyone in the group has all the achievements related to it, move onto the next. Some achievements aren’t mode-specific, though, so work with everyone else if you want to go and do your own thing while the rest of your team is working towards achievements. Map selection has no bearing on any achievements.

Boosting:
With the online community non-existent, if you want to play this game, you are going to have to resort to boosting. You can’t even start a game unless you have the minimum number of people, which is six (6). When you do have people to play with and the teams are decided, coordinate together on the most efficient way to earn all the achievements according to the individual solutions. Some require the team win the match, for others it’s independent progress. Whatever you decide, it’s best to stick to the plan so everyone can unlock all the achievements as quickly as possible.

If you’re looking for other people to boost with, take a look and post in the Official XBA Boosting Session Information & Discussion thread.

Tracking:
Unfortunately, the game is very buggy and your kills and/or wins might not track properly. Sometimes you are even awarded a win if you lose the match. It is recommended that you coordinate with everyone you are playing with to unlock these achievements as quickly and as easily as possible, which means that everyone should be in agreement as to which team will unlock achievements first. Or, trade off each match (since you remain on the same team as long as no one leaves) so it is fair for everyone.

Conclusion:
Having denied fans of genuine cloud-based destruction in the campaign, they decided to release this mediocre online game with uninspired game modes to recover some lost work. This game is forgettable and unless you have a dedicated number of people to get all the achievements, this title should be avoided.

Crackdown 3: Wrecking Zone Achievement Guide

Show completed achievements
Show secret achievements

There are 12 achievements with a total of 500 points

  • Win a match

This will unlock the first time your team wins a match in either game mode. Refer to Finding Your Rhythm (40G) for more information.
  • Win 20 matches

When your team wins 20 matches, in either game mode, this will unlock. To get this achievement quickly, play Territories and have one team keep capturing both territories as they appear until they reach the point limit. This should take approximately 3-4 minutes each game.

Note: Wins usually don't register until you have at least started playing the next match. If boosting, it is recommended that you flip flop wins. If doing this, it will take approximately 3 hours for every person to get the achievement, and along the way, you should also unlock a majority of the other achievements.
  • Reach 100 kills

This can be done in either mode, but it is recommended, if going for this achievement specifically, to play Territories instead of Agent Hunter. In Territories, if no one captures a territory, you have the full 10 minutes to kill each other. If playing in Agent Hunter, once 25 badges are picked up, the match ends.

If boosting, coordinate with everyone in your session and agree upon a set number of kills before moving onto the next person. Since the game is a maximum of 5v5, it would take a while for one person to reach 100 kills, and the session could end before some participants had the opportunity to earn progress which wouldn’t be fair.

Another recommended method is to allow one person on each team to get all the kills in a match, and then switch for the next match, and so forth. This way, everyone has an opportunity to get kills in the same amount of time. This is also a good opportunity for people to get MVP for the game mode you are playing.

Note: There is a slight chance that some kills may not register, which is unfortunately how the game is. Also, kills only register for you if you've dealt the highest percentage of damage, otherwise it will only be an assist.
  • Get a melee kill

This can be done in either mode. To melee someone, move towards an enemy and press or hold :1b: to dash towards them. This will make your character shoulder tackle the enemy, and if you kill them with this hit, you will unlock the achievement.

Note: It helps if the enemy you are aiming for is already injured, so shoot them a few times first.
  • Secure 100 badges in Agent Hunter

This can only be obtained in Agent Hunter. Every time an enemy agent is killed, they drop a badge. You then have 10 seconds to collect it before it disappears. This mode is similar to the game mode 'Kill Confirmed' in the Call of Duty series.

Note: The game ends when one team collects 25.
  • Deal a large amount of damage to buildings in a single match

This can be done in either mode. It is not known how much damage you must inflict on buildings to unlock this achievement, but if you just keep shooting at them, this will eventually unlock. It is best to use a projectile explosive weapon, like the Annihilator or Blast Cannon.

If boosting for other achievements, this is a great opportunity to concentrate on this achievement during the match.
  • Kill an entire team in a single match

This can be done in either mode. Regardless of the enemy team size, just kill each enemy once in a match. If boosting kills, this should unlock if you are following the strategy outlined in A Ton Of Weight (50G).
  • Get a kill with every weapon in a single match

This can be done in either mode. For a non-boosting method, osakamitsu has written an in-depth guide on how to earn this achievement legitimately. Refer to the link below. But since you will probably have to boost this because the online community is virtually non-existent, here is a simple way to get this achievement efficiently.

First, before the match begins, agree with everyone what achievements will be attempted and what order everyone will go in so there is no confusion on whose turn it is. If boosting for A Ton Of Weight (50G), it is recommended you attempt this at the same time.

There are 9 weapons you must get kills with; five Primary and four Explosive:

    Primary:
    1. Machine Pistol Type-E
    2. Minigun XD
    3. Shotgun Type-E
    4. Conqueror Type-E
    5. Plasma Rifle MK.II
    Explosive:
    1. Homing Rocket MK.II
    2. Annihilator
    3. Osiris
    4. Blast Cannon
When you are choosing your loadout for the match, you want to select a weapon from both tabs (:1lb: and :1rb:) but keep track of what you selected. It is best to start at the top left then work your way to the right then down to the second row.

When the match starts and it is your turn, kill an enemy with your Primary weapon, press :1y: to change weapons then kill another with your Explosive weapon. Now, ask someone to kill you. On the respawn screen, you can access your loadout again by pressing :1y:, so select the next two weapons then respawn. Kill enemies with both weapons again then get killed. Repeat this until you've cycled through all 9 weapons. You need at least 4-5 minutes of uninterrupted progress to get this achievement.

Note: There is a slight chance that a kill or two may not register, which is unfortunately how the game is. Also, kills only register for you if you've dealt the highest percentage of damage, otherwise it will only be an assist. This shouldn’t be an issue if you are specifically going for this achievement while boosting, but is mentioned nonetheless.

Special thanks to osakamitsu for putting together this non-boosting method guide: Wrecking Zone - "Arms Dealer" Achievement Guide
  • Complete a match without dying

This can be done in either mode. The time limit for each match is 10 minutes, but they can end sooner if a team either reaches 250 points in Territories or collects 25 badges in Agent Hunter.

Play through an entire match without being killed. The non-boosting method would be to just avoid all enemy contact for the entire match. Staying close to your spawn point or climbing to a tall building away from the action is recommended.

If boosting, especially Territories, there shouldn't be any killing at all (except if someone is trying to be the MVP). Boosting this game mode is the perfect opportunity to unlock this achievement.
  • Get MVP (Highest Score on Winning Team) in Agent Hunter

This can only be obtained in Agent Hunter. To get MVP, you must be the player with the most points on the winning team when the match ends. Points are earned by a combination of kills and badges collected.

If boosting, it is suggested that everyone agree on one player to get MVP. They also need to be on the winning team and have the most points on their team in that match. Then for the next match, pick someone else, preferably flip flopping teams to keep it fair and even. Repeat until everyone in the session has this achievement.
  • Capture 100 Territories

This can only be obtained in Territories. There are two territories on the map at any given time. To earn progress for this achievement, you need to be standing inside a territory border when it is captured. Each territory remains captured for 50 seconds, but time is paused if it is contested. When that time expires, it moves elsewhere on the map. This mode is similar to the game mode 'King of the Hill' in Halo and Gears of War or 'Domination' in Call of Duty.

If boosting, the recommended strategy is have both teams standing at one territory and ignoring the second one. One team steps inside, captures it then steps back out. Then the other team steps in and does the same. Each time your team captures the territory it counts as progress towards the achievement. By doing this, everyone should get this achievement in just a few matches.
  • Get MVP (Highest Score on Winning Team) in Territories

This can only be obtained in Territories. To get MVP, you must be the player with the most points on the winning team when the match ends. Points are earned by a combination of kills and territories captured.

If using the suggested boosting strategy in The Landlord (40G), everyone on the same team should be earning the same amount of points. To get MVP, have the person selected to be the MVP kill a couple of enemies so their points are higher than the rest. Then just make sure that the MVP's team wins.
