Cut the Rope is a 2D physics-based puzzle game in which your goal is to guide a piece of candy, which is suspended by ropes, into the mouth of a green monster. You can play through 300 cleverly-designed levels, split across 11 visually and somewhat mechanically-unique worlds. The challenge lies in collecting all three stars that are scattered across the level, before feeding the candy to the monster. The games graphics are colorful and gorgeous and the controls are crisp and intuitive. Currently the game is listed at $4.99 in the Windows 8 Store.
If you have a non-RT version of Windows 8, you can download a macro recording program that will make the game slightly less time consuming to complete. Using a macro recorder, you can record you mouse movements and clicks. The recording can be looped indefinitely while you are away from you computer. This method is really only helpful for the repetitive grinding achievements. To find a decent program for free, just Google "Jbit Macro Recorder." I wont go into too much detail on how to use the programs. They are fairly self-explanatory. Just hit the record button, perform the task you want to do, hit stop, then hit play. The program will do all the tedious work for you while you are sleeping or go to school or work.
Step 1: Collect a total of 300 stars
Play through the levels, collecting as many stars as you can. You only need to get a total of 300 to unlock the last achievement related to them. You don't need to try to get three stars on every level, but you do need enough to unlock the next world to progress. Do not worry about any of the miscellaneous achievements in this step as they can all be earned quickly afterwards on specific levels.
Step 2: Mop-up miscellaneous achievements
Complete whatever miscellaneous achievements you may have left. There will be a lot, but they can all be completed in a very short amount of time.
Luckily none of the achievements require too much thought as you only need to collect 300 stars out of the 900 in the game, which is a breeze. Video walkthroughs exist to make this task even easier. The achievements are also very straight forward and simple. They can all be completed in around 3 hours, without even having to play anywhere near half of the game's levels.
