Gorilla Arms in Cyberpunk 2077, What Are They & Where to Get Them?

XBA Staff

There are tons of different body augmentations, AKA Cyberwares, littered through Cyberpunk 2077. You can add double jump Cyberwares to your legs, scanning Cyberwares to your eyes, auto-revive Cyberware to your heart, and so on. The sky’s the limit as far as they’re concerned.

Perhaps one of the more useful Cyberwares, however, is what Night City inhabitants call “Gorilla Arms.” Gorilla Arms , when attached to your arms at a Ripperdoc, deal incredibly powerful damage when using your fists, which is especially useful when attempting the Beat on the Brat missions. If you’re playing on Very Hard, the Gorilla Arms are essential for the latter fights.

Gorilla Arms deal extra physical damage and when using fast attacks build up a charge that can be then released with a strong attack. They also help control recoil, so not bad at all!

Where are the Gorilla Arms though?

If you’re after a rare Gorilla Arms Cyberware, you can buy one from the Ripperdoc in the Kabuki area in Watson (it costs 12,750 credits), provided you have level 20 Street Cred. If you're short on credits, you can get one for free from the “Assault in Progress” in Pacifica in Coastview, east of the Stadium Parking fast-travel point (although you need to be Street Cred level 40 for it to show up).

In terms of the epic Gorilla Arms, they can be found all over Night City and are available for around 21,000 credits from the Ripperdoc in Wellsprings, Arroyo and at the Aldecaldo camp, as well as from Fingers in Japantown and Octavio in Rancho Coronado (you need to have level 25 Street Cred).

And last, but definitely not least, you can buy the legendary Gorilla Arms for around 36,000 credits from the Ripperdoc in Downtown, City Center and Wellsprings, Heywood (you need to be level 45 Street Cred to purchase that though).

It’s also worth noting you get legendary Gorilla Arms for completing the game too, when you return to the Point of No Return after the credits have rolled.
