Notorious Achievement in Destiny

Earn the maximum weekly Crucible score.

  • How to unlock Notorious

Similar to the Vanguard marks, Crucible marks can not be earned until Level 18. However, these are much easier to acquire. You will receive three marks for every win in the Crucible and 2 marks for every loss. Simply play the PVP for a while and you'll max it out, win or lose.

Your Crucible rank is increased through their specific Bounties (50-100 rep each) and completing matches (10 for a loss/25 for a win) in any of the various PVP game types. You need a total of 1,500 rep to reach Rank 1.

Crucible score is reset every week on Tuesdays at 2am PST/5am EST/9am GMT, so if you're not very close on Monday night you may be better served working on something else if you don't think you'll make it.

  • Glitched for me. I have 100 and it didn't unlock.
  • Where or how do you see your scores for this or for Vanguard?
  • Stupid thing is glitched. I have the 100 and it is glitched as well. I'm gonna be mad if it resets and I don't get achievement because I don't really want to try and get this again...
  • #1 & #3 I got it the second the match ended and awarded me with the last few marks i needed, so unfortunately it must be glitched for you
  • #1 & #3 The achievement unlocked after i chose to change profiles in the settings and log back in. it was weird.
  • mine was glitched until I logged out by switching profile, I played on another character for 5 minutes then went back to my main, and it popped straight away. try it, if it glitches for you.
  • What does it mean? You get points for winning? And then need 100?
  • Got it done yesterday and didn't pop. Logged in today and it popped.
  • for those who need help hitting 100 credits in a week (but seriously this will take no more than like half a day to do thanks bungie...) you get 2 for completing a match and 1 additional for winning the game meaning it will take 33-50 games unless you do other activities to earn additional crucible marks. So if you are losing don't quit out cause you might as well wait for the 2 marks you'll get. Rumble is the fastest game mode but if you really want wins and fast here's a solution that shows how stupid this game is designed. Go do skirmish and have all but one person on your team jump off a cliff or grenade themselves to death. The remaining person alive will revive the fallen teammates. You'll get 50 points for each teammate you revive (so 2 teammates equal one kill but this takes 5 seco
  • 5 seconds to do) and you can endlessly revive people. Keep doing this and you'll hit the score max in no time and win the game earning 3 marks in under 5 minutes. Remember that it doesn't matter how many times you die so everyone will get the 3 marks for winning. More than likely the people who die a lot will earn blues or purples as rewards because the loot system is stupidly designed that the worst people get the best stuff and the best player gets fucked in the ass so be sure to trade off who dies and who review to make it fair for everyone to get a better chance of getting equal loot. Thanks Bungie, your broken game never ceases to amaze us.
  • Mine popped just as I finished the last match required to hit 100. I had 98 and won a match of Control; once it came up VICTORY, the achievement popped.
  • This game is broken. I have 100 points and no achievement. Not the first achievement that hasnt popped when its supposed to.
  • I can confirm that signing out then back in unlocks the achievement. Still think this game is broken when the MCC comes out this game is gonna gather dust. Bungie needs to look into fixing that achievement problem and a few other things.
  • I have a level 27 Titan and a 25 Hunter. I had the hardest time actually winning anything with my Titan but I was able to actually score some points with the Hunter. Haven't tried the Warlock yet though.
  • To the people that suggested to sign into a diff profile MY HATS OFF YOU!!
