Welcome to the Disney Sing It roadmap! This is one of the karoke games put out by Disney Interactive. The difficulty of these games are generally easier than the Rock Band counterparts, but still require some basic microphone manipulation or singing skill to achieve the full 1k in this game. Unfortunately, the live headset does work for this game and requires the Disney, Rock Band or Guitar Hero microphones in order to play. One microphone can get you 80% of the achievements, but versus and team play requires two microphones.
The game is very forgiving on easy difficulty, making Hey! Big Scorer, You Got What It Takes and Racking Up The Points the only achievements requiring some real effort to unlock. Unskilled singers can also hum to match the pitch for general success by either holding it an inch away from the lips or pressing it up against the throat to catch the vocal vibrations of your humming. As a last resort, Google “Tone Generator” for free computer programs that can assist to a lesser degree, but it would be highly recommended that the humming method, as it yields better results.
All songs completed, even with a score of 0, will count towards the Sing It Fanatic and Sing It Uber-fan achievements of 50 and 100 completed songs. There are a total of 35 songs. You will be playing all songs at least once in solo and duet mode for a guaranteed 70 played songs minimum. Play each song on easy mode and always aim for a score of 750,000 points. This will be required for 20 songs if you wish to 1k this game. Use the multiplier bonuses that are gained from hitting all notes in consecutive verses to make reaching your target score quicker. Don’t be afraid to skip a song if it seems difficult, as long as you let the song run its course you will get credit for song completion. The Pushing it to the Limit achievement requires you to earn an x4 point multiplier by singing 5-7 verses without missing a note. Missing a note entails missing a whole tone segment. It seems that on easy mode the game is fairly forgiving, but getting this achievement will still require some knowledge of the song and a little effort on the players’ part to successfully unlock this achievement. Vocal Pro requires completing the 5 tutorials under Sing It Pro. You can complete this at any time.
Hasta La Vista:
This is a rap song in Disney Sing It that maintains a steady tone throughout a majority of the song. Use this song to easily unlock the elusive Natural Performer achievement. This song is also a prime candidate for unlocking all the one-shot point scoring achievements.
2 Microphone Achievements:
Two microphones are required for the Head to Head, Show Time Double, Party Starter and Big Stake Battle achievements. Start a one song play list for team play to shorten the game. No singing is required as long as the song plays completely.
The game requires very little effort to complete. A good amount of the points can be unlocked without singing at all, but for full completion, some karaoke skills, creative microphone manipulation or extra equipment will be required.
