Introduction
Dragon's Dogma is an open world action RPG set in a fantasy universe where your enemies will be bigger and tougher than most other games. It's a blend of some of the greatest RPGs with its own innovative flavour. Enter Gransys - a land plagued with dangerous creatures - and become the Arisen. Defeat the dragon who has stolen your heart and bring peace to the land of Gransys.
The majority of the achievements can be done without much trouble, but it does take a lot of time and perhaps a little guidance to get all of them. You will need to play through the main story twice to get The Ever-Turning Wheel. There is a NewGame+ option where you can keep your stats and equipment, as well as gaining a few additional perks.
The game has a number of missable achievements:
- The Patron
- Into the Manse
- The Hero
- Serpents' Bane
- Eye Contact
- Headshunter
- Peace
- Servitude
- Solitude
Step 1: Completing the Game Once
The look of your Arisen and Pawn doesn't effect your overall gameplay experience too much, but there are some things you might want to note when creating them. Your body type can affect your strength and how much equipment you can carry, while your gender can change how certain enemies behave towards you. Classes have different stats, but you can change you and your Pawn's class any time after completing the quest "Off With Its Head" and before starting the quest "Deny Salvation" by visiting the inn in Gran Soren and choosing "Change Vocation". For details on character creation, go here.
During this playthrough, you should obtain most of the achievements. Go for some of the missable achievements during this playthrough so if you make a mistake you know how to do it properly during NG+. The cumulative achievements will carry over to your second playthrough, so work on The Hero, The Laborer, The Captain, The Philanthropist, The Explorer, The Veteran, Well Equipped and The Coin Collector as much as you'd like to make for a quicker second playthrough. Press

When faced with fighting the dragon at the end of the game, turn around and walk away. You will receive the missable Solitude achievement after the credits roll. Now choose 'Retry' and defeat the dragon to receive Destiny.
Step 2: Post Game Achievements
After the credits you will wake up in Cassardis. You will want to go for a few achievements before you kill the Seneschal. First go to the notice board in Cassardis and accept the quest to kill the Hydra and follow it for the Headshunter achievement. Before entering the Everfall, go to one of the locations to kill a Wyvern. You can choose to fight the Drake at one of the locations before entering the Everfall, or in the Chamber of Fate. Next, enter the Everfall and defeat the Evil Eye for the Eye Contact achievement. Now you will be able to enter the Chamber of Distress to defeat the Wyrm for Serpents' Bane. You can choose to either fight the Ur-Dragon here in the Everfall for better loot drops, or wait until your second playthrough and fight him at any time there for The Messiah achievement.
Now when you're given the option to fight the Seneschal, walk away to get Peace. After that, select 'Retry' and let yourself die for Servitude. Now defeat the Seneschal. Sit on the throne, and leave each place you visit. When you come back, stab yourself with the Godsbane to complete your first playthrough.
Step 3: Completing the Game a Second Time and Mop Up
Now you'll want to get The Ever-Turning Wheel and any other achievements you still don't have. Start NewGame+ by going to 'Load Game'. Everything will be pretty much the way you left it before fighting the dragon, with the main advantage being you can now buy port crystals from The Black Cat for 200,000G. This will make your second playthrough much easier and far shorter.
At any time you can go to the beach in Cassardis and use the special port crystal to fight the Ur-Dragon if you do not have The Messiah. Any quests you have completed will carry over for The Hero achievement and The Laborer achievement. You will want to complete all the pre-planned quests you haven't already and the rest of the notice board quests you need for your overall 50. Also make sure you get The Patron and Into The Manse if you missed them in your last playthrough.
Other achievements you might need to get still are The Veteran, The Captain, Well Equipped, The Philanthropist, The Explorer, and The Coin Collector. See the guide for details on how to get them as quickly as possible.
At the end of this playthrough you should earn your final achievement, The Ever-Turning Wheel and have a full 1000

Conclusion
Overall this is a fairly easy 1000
