Introduction:
Energy Cycle Edge is a unique puzzle game and the spiritual successor to Energy Cycle. The object of the game is to make all the energy cells on the screen the same color. There are three different colors; red, blue and green, and making all the cells any one of these colors completes the puzzle. The caveat of this is by changing the color of one cell, you potentially change the colors of many adjacent cells, so you need to figure out the pattern so all the colors end up the same.
This game introduces a "3D" element, where in later puzzles you need to rotate the puzzle which introduces more energy cells. These 3D puzzles can have either 2 or 4 sides, and you must change the colors of the cells on all sides in the proper sequence to solve the puzzle.

Abbreviated Walkthrough:
Note: Before you start the puzzles, at the main menu, select 'Settings'. There is a toggle to make the cells random colors or not. Make sure this is set to 'Off'.
To change the color of a cell, press . Figuring out the solutions to most of the puzzles would be extremely challenging, which is why a video guide by rus199410 has been provided. For each puzzle, rus199410 shows you which cells need to be changed and how many times you need to press
.
Note that on some puzzles in the video there is a (3) in a cell. These can be ignored because since there are only three colors, pressing three times will make the cell its original color as if you never changed it. I’m not sure if rus199410 realized this.
The video assumes that you have selected each puzzle without changing any cell and have set the random colors in the 'Settings' menu to 'Off', so the cell colors in the video correspond to what you see on screen. Also, while you are able to rotate puzzles #1 through #10, the video shows the solutions as though the puzzle has not been rotated.
Note: The cell colors and position will always be the same when you first select a particular puzzle, meaning that each time you select the same puzzle from the level select screen, it will default to the starting colors and position. If you feel you've messed up or lost your way, simply back out to the level select menu and try again.
If you are following the video, it is recommended that you go row-by-row or column-by-column so you don't lose your place. If you start changing cells randomly, you may forget which ones you’ve done and may have to restart from scratch. Since you can do the puzzles in any order you want, timestamps have been provided in each achievement so you can jump to a particular puzzle.
There are 44 puzzles in the game. Completing all 44 will unlock 17 of the 20 achievements for 860. The last three achievements are simple enough; complete a puzzle in less than 10 seconds, take more than 15 minutes to complete a puzzle and complete a 3D puzzle using only one rotation.
Conclusion:
Energy Cycle Edge doesn't cost much at all and is easy enough if you want to pad your gamerscore. If you really want to challenge yourself, try playing blind without solutions to see how far you get. Congratulations on your 1000!
