“Escape First 2 is an escape room puzzle game with three different escape rooms!
Psycho Circus 2: You managed to escape the clown’s quarters, but you are not free yet. Did you think it would be this easy to escape? The show must go on and you are the exhibit! Think and act fast in order to escape the circus, we all know that clowns don’t like other people touching their stuff!
The Torture Chamber: A medieval dungeon, filled with torture devices, prison cages and not many prisoners left. Hearing screams from the room next door, you know you don’t have much time left until the guards come for you. The doors are locked, is there another way out?
Behind the Scenes: While visiting an Escape Room Factory, you black out and wake up in the bathroom. However, there is one thing about this room that does not seem right; it has no doors or windows! How did you get here and more importantly, how will you ever get out?” - xbox.com
Escape First 2 is an escape room video game featuring three rooms with varying themes and difficulty. You are given a generous amount of time to complete each room, complete with clues and hints to discover, as you solve puzzles and tasks to hopefully find your way to freedom.
The game has solo and co-op play (at least two online partners are needed for one achievement). The game offers intriguing and detailed puzzles that will challenge the sharpest of minds, but if you are following the guide, nothing needs to be figured out. Each of the story-related escape room solutions below details the bare minimum of what needs to be done to complete it without finding any clues for yourself. You are free to explore as much as you want, but make sure you don’t run out of time. Pausing the game stops the clock so you can use that to your advantage if you get stuck.
Thanks to Cheetah’s Guides for the 100% video walkthrough.
In Escape First 2, there are three rooms to solve, with solutions to all three in the guide below. Feel free to try and solve them without using the guide. If you decide to do this, note that there is a time limit for each room.
All three escape rooms have room-specific achievements for each, but if you are following the solutions below, they will unlock naturally while you are playing through the rooms.
Note: This game has an unconventional input system. To interact with or pick up an item, you press (instead of or ). To open doors, locks, chests and panels, you hold and move . Also, to back out of a screen (such as a close up of a keypad) or to drop an item, you press (instead of ). It’s a bit awkward and curious as to why the developers chose to use these buttons instead of the more traditional ones.
There is only one achievement that requires other players. The room ‘Psycho Circus 2’ is by far the quickest room to solve, but feel free to choose any room you wish.
For Brought Some Friends (100G), at least three players are required, so invite two or more friends or boosting partners or have the host invite you.
Refer to the achievement for more information. If you need help finding boosting partners, you can post in the Official XBA Boosting Session Information & Discussion thread.
Congratulations! Escape First 2 is much like the first game in that it is a fun game if playing without a guide. You will need some thought and puzzle-solving skills if you choose not use this guide, but all-in-all it isn’t really too difficult. If you really want to challenge yourself and test your mind, try playing “blind” without solutions to see how far you get. Of course, if you do choose to use this guide, it will be a relatively quick 1000.
