Jury Rigger Achievement

  • Jury Rigger

    15

    Repair 30 items.

You should get this achievement over the course of the game simply by looting bodies and repairing like items. Any area with a faction (minor or major) will have lots of potential enemies with like armor and weapons. Kill and loot them and you'll have a good amount of items to repair. Also don't forget the Jury Rigging (Repair 90) perk which makes this achievement trivially easy to get.

  • If you repair everything you find, as a way of lowering your carried weight, this will pop by the time you reach Novac. If you get the Jury Rigger Perk (not related to the Achievement) this is laughably easy, Metal Armor will repair Power Armor, Assault Rifle will Repair Sniper Rifle etc.
  • My game also glitched so that I have the Jury Rigger perk in all playthroughs I do from the very start, not sure if this happened for everyone
  • Somebody please help me I got a question: Do repairs by NPC's count or do I have to repair the items by myself? 1. How do I repair items by myself (Is there something like a special skill)? 2. I think I already repaired over 30 items with the ghul nurse in Jacobstown but still didn't get the achievement? Thank you
  • @PowercomSODMG All you have to do is find two of the same items like cowboy repeater and go to your inventory and press "y" when highlighting one of the repeaters and then you can repair it. do this thirty times and you got yourself a very easy achievement.
  • This shouldn't be too hard, considering guns break pretty easy and if you use Bulk or modified ammo it will make your gun deteriorate faster.
  • whenever i look to repair ANY of my guns, (and i have alot) the repair icon is blanked out. does this mean my skill isnt high enough. my repair skill is below 20.

  • If you rearm a Bear Trap, does that count as repairing it? Because after I disarmed one, I tried to rearm it, and it said my repair skill was too low.
  • You have to repair something, Rearming a trap doesnt count. Get the same item twice (a gun for example) and when the gun starts to get worn down then go into your inventory to highlight the gun and hit Y (i believe its the Y button) to repair it using parts from the other gun. Do this repeatedly and there you go.
  • To do it really fast, and really easy, be at least lvl 14, have 90 repair for skills. Than take the Jury Rigger perk. With that, you can nearly repair ANY weapon by yourself! Take some time to look for loads of weapons and stuff, to make this one easier!
