Section 2.1 Game Introduction
F.E.A.R. 3 is the sequel to F.E.A.R. 2 from 2009. The story picks up 6 months after the ending in F.E.A.R. 1 with Alma ready to give birth and her two sons (Pointman and Paxton Fettel) racing to reach her. Each brother has their own agenda for reaching Alma and by playing as each brother you will learn what they plan to do. You can also play through the story with a partner in a co-operative mode, and which ending you get will depend on which son shows superior skills. To earn the 1000
The game has an Online Pass system but you can obtain the 1000
Section 2.2 Controls
This game does not come with a manual, nor does the pamphlet reference an online site.
F.E.A.R. 3 allows you to play as one of the two brothers, Pointman or Paxton Fettel. While Pointman plays much like he did in the original F.E.A.R, Fettel has unique abilities that require some explaining. Fettel's main abilities are a Psychic Blast, Suspension and Possession. Instead of bullets he has a power meter (slow motion meter for Pointman) which allows him use of his stronger abilities (possession and suicide). When Fettel has possession of an enemy soldier, he controls just like Pointman (without slow motion). While you're possessing the body your power meter will continuously drain unless you pick up red orbs from the killed enemies. If the body takes too much damage and dies, Fettel will return to his ghost form but with a completely empty power meter.

Section 3. Walkthrough
Section 3.1 - First Playthrough (Any Difficulty)
Begin a new story mode and choose whatever difficulty you wish to play on. Use the achievement guide to earn; Doll Collector, A Precursor, Footy Foul, State-of-the-Art, Bang, Bang!, Yo, Adrian!, and work on many of the Challenges that are required for Score Monger, Completionist and the Interval/Score achievements. If you have a partner with you, you can also work towards I'm not a Doctor, I'm a Medic, Little Brother's Helper and the Challenges that require a partner. At the end of every level you will earn the ability to play as Paxton Fettel. Complete all 8 Intervals as Pointman to unlock Fettel and the Mission.... accomplished? achievement. If any of the Interval achievements did not unlock you must go back and complete the Interval again. This goes for Mission... accomplished? as well.
Section 3.2 - Second Playthrough (INSANE Difficulty)
Begin your next playthrough but put the difficulty on INSANE. If possible, it's recommended playing through as Pointman, but you can get through easily enough as Fettel. If you choose to play as Fettel you can work towards; Insider Trading, Fettel's challenges for Completionist, Head Crab Removal, the Interval/Score achievements and any other achievement you may have missed from your first playthrough. If you can to get a partner to play as Pointman to work on Big Brother's Helper. At the end of this playthrough you will earn Man Mode. There have been reports of Man Mode not working properly, start the game again and after a few intervals it should unlock.
Section 3.3 - Challenges, Checkpoints and Cleanup
Here you can work towards any achievement in the storyline you may have missed. These include the 8 achievements for completing each interval with a certain score, finishing any uncompleted challenges and earn the achievements that require you to reach a specific amount of kills/points/etc and the Alma Dolls. If you haven't earned them yet; You've got the Touch!, That's a lot of Zeros, Earl of Pain, God Among Men, Art Collector, No Can defense! and Head Crab Removal can be earned in Story Mode but can also be earned in the other multiplayer modes.
Section 3.4 - Contractions
Contractions only has a handful of specific achievements, but this is where you will need a group of people to work together. The weaker achievements; We'll Try Again Tomorrow!, I F.E.A.R. Nothing! and Dead Blind can be obtained by yourself in Solo play with a little practice. Hanging 20 and Handle with Care can be done by yourself but is a lot easier with a team. Use the Boosting/Partner thread to get a team together and knock these out. A strategy is listed in the achievement guide.
Section 3.5 - Soul King
All of these can be obtained by yourself if you have an extra controller, if you don't have an extra controller be sure to find a partner to help you out. Using the two controller method will have this take a little over one hour. You will need at least 2 players to earn enough points for Soul Gatherer and Soul Hoarder. If you do not have 2 players in the game the enemies will not drop enough souls to earn the scores required for the two achievements. Indecisive, Monarch and Unstoppable can be earned through solo play.
