Introduction:
All in all, Fifa 06 has to be one of the easiest sports games to acquire 1000 in. If you good at football games it should take you no longer than 5 hours to 1k. If you are not that great at these sorts of games then you may struggle to cope a bit at first, but with practice you should be able to ace the game.

Abbreviated Walkthrough:
Okay, so you have just six measly achievements to get to 1k the game, the following steps will help you net the lot A.S.A.P:

Step #1:
First off you'll want to grab the "Win on perfect" achievement, taking you a total of around 5 mins including loading times etc.
-50 Up, 950 to go.

Step #2:
I suggest getting the Custom achievements now;

#1 - Start with "Win Custom Knockout". Following Minty's achievement guide, this one should take around 15 mins including loading times etc.
-150 Up, 850 to go.

#2 - Now go after "Win Custom League". Following Minty's achievement guide, this one should take around 40 mins including loading times etc.
-300 Up, 700 to go.

Step #3:
To get the final 700 you just have to play through "Road to World Cup" mode. If you follow Minty's achievement guide, the achievements will unlock in the following order:

1. "Win International Open"
2. "Win World Master"
3. "Cup Qualification"

Overall the final 700 will be the most time consuming, it'll take around 2 Hours to complete if you manage to win every match.

Conclusion:
There you go, an easy and simple 1000 added to your Gamer Card. If your missing the Custom or Perfect achievements you can just go back and try again simply, but if your missing any of the other 3, you'll have to play through "Road To World Cup Mode" again.

Cup Qualification

Qualified for the FIFA World Cup in the Road to FIFA World Cup mode.

**If at any time you know you will lose the game you can press , "Quit To:" , "The Arena". If you do this before the save screen after the game it is as if the game never happened. You can replay it from the start without consequence.**

From the main menu select "Road To FIFA World Cup", then "New". Set Half Length to "2 Minutes" and Difficulty Level to "Amateur". Press to advance. Select England as your team. Select "Done" to move on. You will now be prompted to play a friendly match against a team, pick the one rated the lowest. Advance a few more times until the game starts. You can lose or win the game it does not matter.

After you finish the first game you will be invited to the International Open. To move onto the semi finals you will need to get a few points. For a draw you will receive one point. For a win you will receive three points. If you are good you should be able to win all three. I drew all three games and still moved on, so it is not that hard to do; but I would suggest trying to win at least one of the games.

Now, you are in the semi-finals. These games are important, and will go into extra time if the score is still even after 90 minutes. If the game goes into extra time the teams will switch sides after 15 minutes, just like at 45 minutes in a regular game. After 15 more minutes if there is still no leader you will go into a shoot out. Whichever team scores the most goals out of five will win. There is a meter in the lower right hand corner of the screen, hold down and let go when it is in the sweet spot (the red zone). Hold it to long and the ball will go over the net, hold it for too short and it will be an easy block. While goal tending you can press or to dive to either side. You will need to win this in order to continue on in the tournament.

The next match you play is the final. Obviously, you will need to win this to earn the achievement. The achievement "Win International Open" will unlock during the game summary after you win the final.

Next you will play 4 qualifying matches. These matches are to determine whether or not you will go to the next tournament and whether or not you will qualify for the FIFA World Cup Tournament. I would suggest winning at least one game with three other draw games. The number of points needed to beat out the rest of the competition will vary. With two wins and two draws you will be golden.

After the qualifying games you will play a friendly match. Once again pick the worst team to play and try your best. Winning and losing does not matter though. Next up, another friendly match. As always pick the worst team to play and try your best.

Now, time for two more qualifying games. The points you receive from winning or drawing these games will be added to your old score. After all the qualifying games you need to be in the top four of your group. Any lower and you will not qualify. You will most likely only need seven or eight points to make it to spot four.

Once qualified you will be in a group with three other teams. From here you will play two more games. To qualify for the semi-finals you must place in the top two teams point wise. A win and a draw should be good enough. Next up is the semi-finals and finals. Same drill as last time, you must win both games in order to obtain the achievement. The achievement "Win World Masters" will unlock during the game summary after you win.

Next, another friendly match. Win or lose, it doesn't really matter. After this you will start one more round of qualifiers. Three qualifier games later you will need to be in the top two team for your group. You will most likely need 15-17 points, depending how well the other teams did. Now, you only have two more games. The first game you play you must either get a draw or win. The second game you must win. The achievement "Cup Qualification" will unlock during the game summary after you win.

If you followed this walk through correctly you should have obtained all the "Road to FIFA World Cup" mode achievements. There is three for a total of 700 points.
Win World Masters

Win Custom League

Won a League tournament created in the Create Tournament Mode.

From the main menu select "Game Modes", "Create Tournament" , "New". You will want to change the Half Length to "2 Minutes", the Difficulty Level to "Amateur", the Tournament Format to "League", the Number of Teams to "10", and Fixtures Vs. Each Team to "1". Advance.

You will now be picking the teams. You want to have the first team (your team) be Brazil. Set the other nine teams as the worst nine in the game, here is a list of the nine worst:

Andorra
Azerbaijan
Estonia
Faroe Islands
Liechtenstein
Luxemborg
Moldova
San Marino
Saudi Arabia

You will be playing a total of nine matches, one against each team. The winner of the tournament will be decided by the points system; three points for a win and one point for a draw. You will need around 17-19 points for first place. This should not be too challenging since you are playing the worst of the worst.

The achievement "Win Custom League" will unlock during the game summary after you win.
Win Custom Knockout

Won a Knockout tournament created in the Create Tournament Mode.

From the main menu select "Game Modes", "Create Tournament", then "New". Set the Half Length to "2 Minutes", the Difficulty Level to "Amateur", and the Tournament Format to "Knockout". Select Brazil as your own team and set the other seven teams as:

Andorra
Azerbaijan
Faroe Islands
Liechtenstein
Luxemborg
Moldova
San Marino

In this tournament you will have to win all of your games. Each game played the winner will move on and the loser will be eliminated. You only have to play three games, and of course win them all. This should not pose to much of a challenge since you are playing terrible teams. But, if you do have trouble I would suggest making the half lengths longer so you have more time to score. If your game ties you will go into extra time, if the score still stands even you will go into a shoot out.

The achievement "Win Custom Knockout" will unlock during the game summary after you win.
Win on Perfect

50
Won a match playing on Perfect difficulty level.

First, start up a "New Friendly Match". Pick Liechtenstein as your team (The worst team in the game). Pick Brazil for the CPU (the best team in the game). With Liechtenstein highlighted as your team press twice to advance. Set the Half Length to "2 minutes" and the Difficulty Level
to "Perfect". Press twice more to advance to the game. Now, simply let the game play out without trying. The CPU will most likely gain a hefty lead over you. Once the game clock is at about "88 minutes" press and go select "Match Options", then "Select Sides". From here switch your controller over to Brazil. Then press to continue and resume the game. The achievement will unlock the instant the game finishes.
