Solid Gold Achievement

  • Solid Gold

    80

Achieve a gold trophy in every single race in the Event list in Season Play mode.

This is the most time consuming in the game. You need to finish 220 events in 1st place, and every event consists of 3 or more different tracks.

The fastest way is to hire a driver compete the race for you. He will take 50% of the winnings and you won't be able to earn any XP, but this way you don't actually have to race. You can just set the race up and then go do something else until the race is finished.

Comments
  • I dont think ill ever do this lol, got every other achievement too
  • Just do the following (whoch is what I am doing)... Get a good car, hire a driver to win the race, and go do something else... It´s too time consuming to do it winning all races..
  • I HATE THIS ACHIEVEMENT!
  • How do u "hire a driver", and what is that? Do they drive for you? :S
  • Before every race, on the menu that pops up with "Start Race" there will be an option to "Hire Dricer" They will do everything.... race and win (If your car is good...) Since I am doing this after finishing the 6th season, money is not a problem so just upgrade your car and the win is garanteed... Still a pain... but at least I don´t have to be stuck to the game....
  • So do you have to win every single race, or just all of the events? Also, is it just the race or events you participate in during the season, or is it every event in the game?
  • Essentially all the boxes in the event list must be ticked, meaning you must win every race for that to happen. hate this achievement though, letting a hired driver grind it out for me and even then it will take ages.
  • Any way to get this by just picking the races in the Event list and just racing them?
  • @8 The achievement description might as well be "Check every box in the event list". You can hire a driver or do it yourself.
  • takes forever, should be worth more
  • I'm currently on 160 hrs of driving! That's without the menus's, editors etc...
  • NICE BRO TY
  • This achievement is extremely boring!!! Take a long time to get it. I'm doing what Mahtan said hiring a driver.
  • Im still doing this achievement now, just got it on hired driver as i spedak, eight more races to go. - how boring? Only got two achievements after this, the tuning setup at the store front and the 100000 points for drifting in a lap.
  • There should be a whole other 1000pts for completing this achievement.
  • this game is sooo long and boring at times, its rediculous!!! but at least you are given the option to hire a driver which helps.
  • Up to 60%, had this game for a few years, so at this rate, I'll have this in 2012? xD
  • quick tip on endurence races lej ur right stick up with a bit ov screwd up paper selotape the sete enything realy its the one tht looks round the car or else ur pad falls asleep every 10mins first 1 i did took me like 2 ours cause i forgot ur psd falls asleep lol gd racein hope u all gt it im 57.4% complete now
  • This achievement equal massacre. I did everything even drift with smile on my face, 'cause this game is awesome and graphic is awesome. But to be honest I had enough of this just because this freakin' chievo. It's making me nuts. It's taking around double the time to make the rest. Game great but this chievo sucks so much
  • From #8 yeah I hope you can get this achievement by doing races in the event list only, it's a lot faster this way, and you don't have to deal with the extra championships. I'll tell you what, if I go through all 220 events and don't get the achievement, I'm going to be pissed. If this is what Forza is going to be like, I don't think I'll ever by another one. It's a great game but give me a break
  • This is also my last achievement for this game, and it is boring as all hell. I'm doing races as I type this(hiring a driver)and I gotta say, all the other achievements where moderately hard or very hard, but they where all challenging or fun in some way, but this achievement is just down right boring. I hope they don't have an achievement like this in Forza 4.
  • I'm currently 97% done with a few more events left and at 106 hours. Worst part for me is i was already halfway done and my hard drive went corrupt and then i had to restart.
  • I don't see why people are so cranked about this achievement. It's a racing game with a very extensive career. You knew this going into the game. Plus as several other players have stated, you can apparently hire a wheelman to do it for you and just let the credits stack up. Granted on the flip side you don't get driver XP if you don't beat the races yourself. The way I see it, you get your achievments for driver level out of the way and then let the wheelman take over. If you set all the assist to off and make the AI dumb easy to beat, it's a gaurenteed cash flow. Hell, maybe he can ever bang out the 100,000pt. drift lap for you if you set it to drift scoring and turn the TCS off. Anyway, stop being ridiculous and complaining about an achievment. You could always just shut the game off
  • This is an epic achievement and one of very few to be truly proud of! Having nailed every other one that the game has to offer, this slow grind keeps me involved in the game, gives the chance to use new content cars and sit down to do it race by race during the odd spare 15 minutes I get at home. @ Q Pac 10.... so sorry for the hard drive! Enjoy the final 3 percent. @ PerfektMachine, I'm glad someone else doesn't understand the anger...
  • Where can i find out how much % I am through the game? I only have Solid Gold and complete 6th year of season play to go. Letting the hired driver do it all from here on. Yay!
  • Do you really have do it trough season play or can I just pick events in the event list?
  • Does anyone know which car you need for the American GT international, all it says is American made GT3 ?
  • #ibleedLFCred when you are in the main menu go 2 my profile and on the right it will say wot % u r #Vaffel89 no u dnt av 2 b in season play you can do but itll take alot longer go 4 the event list much easer n u gt c ur gold cups build up slowly verry verry verry verry slowly lol #purvesmarky best n prob cheapest is look wot car is at the top tht thy are using n just buy 1 n race it stock with ai on easy, its an easy win if u gt a bit more time thn upgrade and tune the car abit if u gt a bit more time thn look at the leader bords n use a leader bord tune on it hope tht helps u all oh yeh and WOOP WOOP 100% WOOP WOOP lol
  • I just got it :D But as I love cars so much, it was just pleasure to do those races. It took some time, but I did never hire the driver, playing on expert. Was challenging, but I liked the feeling, when it popped out. Something magical, i promise.
  • dff
  • gotta be worst achievement ever man who came up with this one should come round and do the races for me while i punch his face in
  • lol. This is hilarious when reading these comments on these. I have hired drivers most the time. I am at least 20%-30% completed and I don't care how long this game is. At lease I have some free time of my life to actually play this game and complete everything on this game. Once I complete this game, I will go back and re-race and get more credits to buy out every car in the AH, and make people happy. Also, this game isn't all that bad. Having this achievement brings the game back to you so you don't get bored and don't know what else to achieve. Me, I'm a web designer for Gambino Army Co. Also the CEO of the company. When ever I have free time, I want to find something to do. I turn to my xbox 360 so I can play with my friends that are online. When I get online, they are happy, we get
  • on the games we are playing, and we try completing achievements together. I just forgot how much I just typed up earlier. I wish the database on this site would allow you to post more than just 1000 characters. CHANGE THE mySQL DATABASE YOU IDIOT!!! Sorry..... web programer rage. but yeah. Once I complete every single race and get this achievement done, I will go to gamestop on my free time and when forza 4 comes out and I will trade this game in for forza 4. Also trade in halo reach. But when I get this game done, I will let y'all know because I am just dying to get this achievement. lol. Anyone can add me. My gamertag is my user. Add me when you want. There will be some other people playing on my account too. Don't know who because there's 6 other people who play xbox on my account in th
  • the office.
  • I just picked this up tonight fully legit, raced all of the races myself. Twas annoying but it sure feels great :P
  • @35 i doubt you got it and finished it in one day this game takes hundreds of hours but to all the people complaining i'm sure a vast majority playing this game have homework or bills to pay or some sort of paper work hello time to run races..... man i've got a paper to write hello 3 endurance races done. see bam easy achievement time consuming yes but easy.
  • Finally 124h25:22 Patience and perseverance are the words for this achievement. When I got bored I changed the mode I drove in.
  • Does any1 know already if you can get this achievement by just selecting the races in the event list?? Man this takes so long!!!!! The loading time is maybe the worst part of it. Good luck all to get this.
  • I have the same question as djmarinus, can you get the achievement by completing races in the event list. Season play isn't giving me the endurance races or drag race.
  • #39, i can tell you in one week. I'm just using the event-list now. And i checked the forums there was a guy who was telling you could. So i'm trying now. I keep you informed.
  • So ok, people get bored at "Life after 50" so to speak, completing all the races to get the achievement, Can you do it in the event list? so in my season play for the 3Rd time now i have the R1 season? I still haven't done the e class world races yet? WTF Any one know why this is happening
  • TO EVERYONE: YES YOU CAN FINISH THIS ACHIEVEMENT BY SELECTING THE RACES IN THE EVENT LIST. I just dit after 120hours of total driving :) Good Luck All!
  • 95% done... so close I can smell it. I did some number crunching with the hired driver. He always takes half of what comes in... But you have some control on the difficulty money that comes in. You control opponent difficulty and damage difficulty.(30%) He will change all the others.(to 25% out of 70%) Bottom line: Always change damage to +15%. Adjust opponent based on car. He will win on hard with a better car. (better = PI,acc, and launch)
  • I love doing this achievement just as much as I hate doing it. Sure you can hire a driver, but you can also just have fun. Buy a car you REALLY like and just go have fun.
  • Tedious and takes an extremely long time even with a hired driver.
  • I am so close to getting this it takes soooooo long but i will get it done Eventually
  • this is retarded. 60 hours and only 50%.
  • FINISHED FINALLY
  • This one should be at least 200-300 worth!!
  • once you done seasons chivo its best to go to events and pick them off one by one.on the long ones higher a driver and smaller ones do yourslef.there like 210 events some have only one race others have up to like six.you need gold on all races to each event race to get this.so if you done all the season dont carry doing it by season mode it will take way to long to do.hope this helps a few if not more :D
  • YES YOU CAN GET THIS BY DOIN IT IN EVENT LIST ITS A LOT QUICKER N ALOT LESS CONFUSING IS THT CLEAR ENOUTH THIS TIME P.S GOOD LUCK
  • this took me 156 hours!
  • holy F! 100 hours 75%
  • does anybody know if you also have to complete the races that are in grey color every time i highlight one of those races it says that i don't have any cars eligible for that race.
  • 75%.. 90 hours in... O well, after a while just using the hired driver, not really much enthusiastic about this. Putted so mayn hours in that will keep going until I get it
  • as easy as hard :D
  • Impossibe, in the end. one race takes an hour of your nice gaming time..
  • @54 There are 3 colors on the event list for events. Green means you're currently in a car that's eligible for that race, Blue means you own a vehicle already for that race and Gray means you don't own a car for that race so you need to acquire one.
  • Just got this achievement :) Completed the 6 year career and had only completed 29.1% of the races!! Used a hired driver after this. Would come in from work, put the hired driver on a long race and then would go and get changed (keep checking the race) and get something to eat etc. and deal with e-mails. Took a few weeks to finally get it. Just need the drift lap for the final achievement.
  • off topic here, but i saw some people online with a crown after his name, how do you get it? =D
  • what is the point of this one?
  • Yes this is a very time consuming achievement to get but here are some tips: 1. Do the entire career mode first, as in all the seasons and getting your level to max. This way you will have plenty of credits to buy cars needed for some events in the event list that you don't have the cars for already (the gray boxes). Also, as you do events in career mode it fills in those ones on the event list, so you won't have to do them twice. 2. For the longer races just hire a driver then start the race. As long as you put him a car that is as good or better than the competition he will win. Look for cars with good launch and acceleration so he can get ahead off the line. Sometimes the AI drivers can be timid and won't pass so it's better if he's just in front from the beginning. Some races can
  • AT LAST!!!!!!
  • Glad to hear you can hire a driver to do some of the event list races, cuz there are way too many, and I am trying to clear 1000gs before Forza 4. All I need is completing year 6 and this one. Some of those races (like the endurance ones) I can't sit through in one time. Good thing Forza 4 will let you save during a race and continue it later. Wish you could do that here.
  • going for it! already got 80% :)
  • Im on 71% now. Desperately trying to get this done before 4 comes out. Pre orderd all ready.
  • I'm almost there
  • 132h23m42s.....Finally done :)
  • Is there anyone out there that can buy my tuning set up? lol None of my friends have this game, and no one seems to buy anything from anyone unless it's a car they need lol
  • That one takes ages... i still need to do 25 events, but i wanna complete them before forza 4 comes out! my suggestion for those who are bored of playing the 6 race-events: beat one course of one event and switch to the next event. this will make it more sufferable...
  • Sweet baby Jesus, this is going to be hard to do in 2 weeks with Forza 4 all ready pre ordered... Ugh I'm at 17%... :|
  • i got 98 races to go :{ DOES ANYBODY KNOW HOW TO CHANGE GAMERTAG ON HERE??? I TYPED MY GAMERTAG WRONG
  • the way 2 make it fun or 2 make u 4get that ur boered just play some music very loud ull b done b4 u know it lol and do 1 of the 28 lap or 3o lap eventa a day 2 get them out the way.
  • I've been doing races when I can be bothered, as I'm still working my way through season play. When I can't be bothered (or just want to do something else), I'm sat with my laptop watching DVDs and stuff while the driver takes over for me.
  • I just finished the final season. I'm going to work in a little bit, but I've trained my cat how to select the events and hire drivers for me. I'd have him race it, but I don't really trust him to win. Not sure how many events left, but it doesn't look promising. Also, this grindout can't be much worse than Seriously 2.0 from Gears of War 2 if anyone did that..
  • 220 events, say, roughly 45 minutes per event (some are only about 15 minutes, but then there are the endurance races too). That's 9900 minutes = 165 hours. That's a hell of a lot of time for 80G, but it's so worth it. Just simulate the majority of the races, and watch TV or whatever while it's playing. Make sure your controller is plugged in though while you do this, because if it runs out of battery or turns off automatically due to inactivity, the race will pause. This is bad.
  • ^ Also, this was the second to last achievement I got, ahead of the 100k drift lap. No way should that only be worth 5G.
  • 96,5 %.. so close I can smell it.. hehehehe
  • WOW, il repost in 2 years when i have done it
  • Finally got mine last night:) just need the entrepreneur achievement for 1000/1000:D Time to play forza 4 again!
  • Just finished this achievement. Now time to go get it done on Forza 4 and that affinity achievement... god those are going to take awhile
  • just gotta finish the dang 6 race events and the drifting one and this god forsaken game is complete!
  • 120h drivinghours ... 18.128km ... finally i got it ... OH MY GOD ... finally ... i can now play another game!! :D
  • Does anyone know how many kilometers you've to drive to earn this achievement?
  • 2 more races to go lol
  • if you get this achievement youre going to spend a heck of a lot of time waiting for it to load some rough math: load time for each race = 30s average number of races per event = at least 3, 3x220 = 660 660/2 = 330, 330/60 = AT LEAST 5.5 HOURS WAITING FOR GAMES TO LOAD TO GET THIS ACHIEVEMENT!
  • I got played almost 30% how long to 100%???
  • 80 points lol Step1; buy gta4 2; achievment survive 5 minutes of 6 stars ; go under a bridge and walk for 5 minutes... 3; fly under 14 bridges ; easy with helicopter cheat takes 10 minutes... 40+40=80 :D so... Spend 165 hours racing or 15 minutes fly and walking??? :)
  • To get this Achievement you have to win 1,049 races(did the math) I was at 788(now at 806) and I had played for 76 hr it was an average of 6 min per race with only one Endurance race completed.
  • Finished this yesterday evening. 122h total driving time, for 17.991Km driven. Never used any hired driver, hard difficulty with just traction control ON. It was boring as hell, but I can now proudly say I finished this beast, 100%!! I also got a ton of cars. As they reached level 5, I sold all upgrades to recover some of the spent money, and bought new cars appropriate for some of the events. In the end I just had to reuse one car (R1, Acura #66) for the final 6 races. I had bought Forza 4 already when it came out, but I think I'll play something different for some time ;-)
  • currently at 38.1% complete at just under 43 hours. definitely gonna feel so good once this is over, this is the last achievement i need for 1000/1000
  • So I tried to get this gay ass achievement got up to 95% of playing this game for two weeks str8 up to 8 hours.once I get to 95% I get super happy that I continue to get the achievement. Bad luck came to me as the disc got to hot that it froze my console like about 16 times. Now I have to buy a new game just to get this achievement. Whatta Bitch!
  • Stupidly didn't realise I could choose which track in the events list, but instead got to about 90% done by racing one of the three options it gives you in career mode - ended up repeating so many times, d'oh! 100% done now lol.
  • good achievement, great game why did i not get anything for my trouble? like a car prize? maybe a image saying thank you for playing? nope. nothing. nothing! nothing? 80 gamer score doesn't mean much when you've spent days getting this
  • what, so you have to get gold in every single race?! not just the overall event? so if you get 3 golds and 2 silvers you still get gold for the overall event, but that wont count?
  • I've been hiring a driver for about 30hrs at this point. still only at 35%. I think it should be worth more. Or at least have some milestones along the way, like getting a few gamerscore at 50% or something. Forza 4 is already out though so ideas are worthless.
  • does anyone want to sell a Porsche 911 GT3 RS (997)?
  • I've been playing this game for weeks, currently a level 49 driver, and I just checked my completion percentage: 17.9% completed. This achievement is bullshit.
  • this achievement is great pain, but you need it if you want to complete the achievements. I have played this game three month and I have 76% done. I hope that I can finished it before autumn.
  • I am 61% in and on my 2nd attempt of it now as last time my hard drive lost all my saves, so gutted I got to do most of it again!
  • 125 hr 30 min. 1100 races and 12,582 miles.
  • Crap, what a lot of work...122hrs...I can race these tracks with my eyes closed now....this cheevo will go in 'Never Again' category....longest achievement I've ever worked on...think I am better off doing 'Seriously 2.0' :-)
  • This achievement makes Forza sooo unpopular.Never buying a Forza again. Still going for the achievement
  • O gosh... I am half way through. Fell on my face skateboarding the other day and that felt much better than doing this achievement...
  • Hey ppl is there anyone who could give me 30 million credits on forza 2 I need to buy every car and I have no moneyhelp me plz. GT nava uk
  • After over 2 years i finally got around to finishing this achievement.
  • 121 Hrs 29 Mins, 1090 Races, 11,287 Miles
  • It took forever but I got this. Working on FM4 now.
  • This achievement made me lose interest in FM3 after I first started playing it. I took a LONG break from the game, not wanting to go face this horrible, boring chievo again. I even passed on FM4 just in case it has something completely stupid in it like this (game designers... Turn 10... are you listening?). I am, only now, finally back at it trying to wrap up crappy chievo's like this and it's just as stupid a grind as I remember it was. Designers: this is not fun, and it's not an achievement. Instead of keeping me interested in the game, I avoid it. PLEASE think more clearly about your achievements before putting this kind of crap into a game.
  • Oh balls. I did almost the whole six seasons by driving the races myself (only hired a driver for the few last events), and I almost died of old age. And that was less than 50% needed for this? Yippee...
  • im probably never going to bother doing this waste of time ...
  • Any tips om where to buy the cars, for the grey boxes? I needed a R3 800 car, so i bought one on auction amd resolved, but the boxes for that type of race, are still grey. I just wish to get rid of all my grey boxes. Any help would be grateful!
  • #75 I knew I needed a cat!
  • Holy EFFFFFF!!... finally done!! whoooooooooooo!!
  • #112 Go Race => Event List => Move the box over desired event & press Y (shows you exactly what ur competitors are using) *u can even notice their rating ie. R3 715... match the horsepower number of 715 in this example when buying the car (sometimes helps when car names get ambiguous and confusing and helps double check stock only requirements) *make sure to spot if the restrictions (X button) need stock only
  • It is very tedious achievement. Game time of about 120 hours
  • FINALLY!!!!!!!!! 154 hrs
  • In this one right now
  • Thought this would be an easy 100% game, I won't be getting this. Far too tedious. Boring, and time consuming.
  • @109 - That's why it's called an achievement - because you've really achieved something. And think that Forza 4 has an achievement like this, but you have to spend twice as much time to get it. Trying to get it before Forza 5 :D
  • Oh my god, FINALLY done this! After 4 years I finally 1000'ed this game, I had to start again after losing my progress at around 30% but it was definetly worth it. :D
  • lol... got the game when it came out.. I play from time to time.. still haven't gotten it yet. One day.. One Day..
  • I can't get this achievement. I don't have the Porsche 997 GT3 car. I tried finding it but no luck. :(
  • Oh my it had to 911 category how dumb! LOL. Now back to getting this cheevo. 53% in. Let's see how long it takes me :)
  • I just got this achievement OMG!! it took me 122 hours to complete. What a brutal achievement.
  • Does anyone know if it tells which races you've gotten gold on and which you didn't?
  • Only way to check that is by opening an event and looking through the races.
  • I bought this game at launch and 5 years later I still don't have this achievement. The races with fast cars aren't that bad, but the F and E class races are just so boring and slow
  • Last achievement and its draggggging!!! :(
  • anyone still online with this game?
  • Anyone worried about getting this achievement and looking for a Porsche 911 GT3 (997), it's there. 2007 car, 105,000 CR under the buy tab--you don't need to get it at an auction or via the marketplace. I'm level 44 and got all the cars from the buy tab. I only need an R1 car for the North Amercan tour and it looks like I can get one of those once I reach level 48... http://www.ign.com/wikis/forza-motorsport-3/Driver_Level_Rewards Bought this game in January of 2017, it's May 7, 2017 today, so I'm pretty sure all the achievements are still doable--unlike the Unicorn car achievement in Forza Motorsport 4.
