Introduction
Jewel Quest is a puzzle grid game similar to the Bejeweled series. Just match 3 jewels together to make a match and clear those spaces on the board. Repeat until the board is complete.

Walkthrough
You will need to play through the game 5 times, once for each rank in the game. The ranks increase in difficulty with each playthough of the game. The first four playthroughs aren't too bad since you have the option to trade a life to skip a level after failing a level 3 times. You don't have this option in your last playthough. There are also unlimited continues.

Infinite Lives
There is an infinite lives trick which is included in aPerfektFlaw's achievement guide.
Here is a little trick for infinite lives which will help with the game as well as the "Game Master" achievement. This was found by Skuff in the forums: "Every 50,000 points gets you an extra life, simply get close to that amount, i.e 49,850, 99,850, 149,850, and so on... then on purpose lose a life... start the next round, do 2 - 3 moves till you get your extra life, then restart round, your score will reset to the previous amount, i.e 49.850 but you will keep the extra life, simply rinse and repeat.

Conclusion
The achievements are pretty straight forward and you can get all of the achievements playing though the 5 times if you get the 500,000 point achievement on your first 2 playthoughs. If you use the infinite lives trick, you shouldn't have too much trouble. A little time consuming and repetitive, but a pretty easy 200

There are 12 achievements with a total of 200 points

  • Dean ceremoniously granted you the title of "Surveyor"!

You will get this achievement upon completion of the game for the 3rd time. On your third time through you will encounter the Curse pieces. This obstacle will make it a little more difficult to turn all spaces gold.

  • You are officially an "Excavator"!

You will get this achievement upon completion of the game for the 2nd time. On your second time through, you will have to make all squares gold, but there are broken pieces which you must fix along the way to make it a little more difficult.

  • Reach a score of 500000.

Easily done if you use the infinite lives trick and don't get a game over. You will more than likely get this somewhere towards the end of your second time through the game.

  • Complete Level 5.

Awarded your first time through the game after completion of level 5.

  • Complete Level 4.

Awarded your first time through the game after completion of level 4.

  • Complete Level 3.

Awarded your first time through the game after completion of level 3.

  • Complete Level 2.

Awarded your first time through the game after completion of level 2.

  • Complete Level 1.

Awarded your first time through the game after completion of level 1.

  • Awarded for level 1-3 completion.

Second achievement you will get, and not too long after the first. Beat level 1-3 to claim your prize.

  • Awarded for completion of Level 1-1.

First achievement you will receive. Simply beat level 1-1, and its yours to claim.

  • Complete the game and get "Researcher" rank.

You will get this achievement upon completion of the game for the 4th time. On your 4th time through, there are no special objects that get in your way, but you will have to turn all spaces to silver, then to gold, making it that much harder.

  • Complete the game.

You will get this achievement upon completion of the game for the 5th and final time. On your fifth time through (oh what a nightmare) you will have the black faces, and you will have the broken pieces making this time through pretty tough. On top of that, you do not have the option to buy your way to the next level after 3 failed attempts. Good luck on this achievement. Here's a small tip: Before making your first move, look at the way the puzzle is set up with the broken pieces. If it looks like it will be too much trouble, quit and try again... you will not lose a life. Keep doing this until you find a puzzle that is set up nicely to your needs.
