Introduction:
JUJU is a 2D platformer that's a throwback to the Donkey Kong Country and 2D Super Mario series of games. It's a game designed for kids and is not that hard, however there is an easy mode if you are struggling at some point. This game is pretty linear, both story and level wise, and you won't need to make a lot of detours, so just stick to the collectibles guide mentioned and you should be fine!

Collectibles Playthrough
Start from the beginning following the Collectibles Guide for the teleports. Your goal is getting all coins for "Done and Done". As you advance through the game, you will get skills after defeating the bosses leading towards "You've got the power!".

Mop-Up:
By the time you finish the main storyline following the collectibles you should need the finish the unlockable levels and "Amberophobia". You may also need "Can't touch this".

Conclusion:
If you like the old 2D platform games this will bring back some memories. The game is quite easy and fast to 100%. Definitely worth spending the 6-10 hours it takes to finish it.

There are 19 achievements with a total of 1000 points

  • Complete a level in co-op.

When you are at the end of the level, at any time and you see the spinning wheel, plug in your second controller and press a button to enter the game. Then, press to end the level and get the achievement.

  • Gather all Coins on one level.

This is very simple and will most likely be your first achievement. When you collect the red ambers, you will be awarded 0 to 3 coins based on how many you collected. You do not have to collect everything to get 3 coins. It helps to try to get as many ambers from the spinning wheel at the end of the level.

  • Gather every Coin in the game.

There are two types of coins you need to go after:

    1. Collect enough ambers to get a 3-coin rating in every level. The ambers collected in the teleport-levels add up to your amber-total for the level, so it's best to visit them all.

    2. Finish every teleport level collecting all ambers (you will also get "6th sense" and help towards the first part). If you fail to get all ambers, you can get yourself killed, restart at the latest checkpoint and try again.

  • Unlock a new skill.

This is story related and can't be missed. This will unlock this after defeating the boss in 1-5.

  • Unlock all skills.

This is story related and can't be missed. This will unlock this after defeating level 4-4.

  • Find a secret teleport.

Refer to "6th sense" for more information.

  • Find all secret teleports.

Every regular level has 3 teleports (except boss and unlockable). You need to enter and finished the level (not collect all coins). Refer to this thread for a collectibles guide.

  • Complete any level without losing a heart.

The levels on the first world are very simple for this. It is very easy to avoid the enemies and not get hit in these levels.

  • Complete any level without collecting an amber.

Use level 2-1. Be careful to not collect anything or kill any enemies. If you accidentally collect an amber, get killed and restart at a checkpoint before that. At the end, jump between the ambers and press to reach the end.

  • Hit 3 enemies with one dash.

This is a quite simple achievement. The first opportunity is in level 1-3 where there will be two sets of three frogs close together. Just go close enough and press when they are lined up. If you mess up the first try, there are another three nearby.

  • Make 4 enemies dance at once.

During the first boss-level, 1-5, after you've hit the boss two times, go to the middle and four small frogs will move close enough for you to press which will make them all dance at once.

  • Defeat Cobos and collect his key part.

This is story related and can't be missed. This will unlock after completing World 4.

  • Defeat Calypso.

This is story related and can't be missed. Calypso is the final boss of the game that will unlock after completing the four Worlds.

  • Complete one unlockable level.

Refer to "Ultimate skills" for more information.

  • Complete all unlockable levels.

After you have collected every possible coin in a world, the unlockable level will be available to play. You can access the level on the right side of the final boss level of the world.

  • Collect more than 100% of ambers in any level.

This is simple and will likely unlock without any real effort. All the ambers in the teleport bonus-stages are considered extra from the 100%.
