Introduction:
Welcome to Knights of Pen and Paper 2, an RPG turn based game very similar to D&D. If you played the first game you will note some differences and the game itself follow a different storyline so finishing the first is not required. The achievement list is diverse and will keep you occupied. It follows the same principle of any RPG game, and in this one there are more unique actions you can take and the dialogues with the GM is more interesting.
Pre-run:
You can go for "Cosplay Is In My Veins" as a pre-run if you don't want a female Dwarf. If not, create the character and start your run.
Long Playthrough:
Now it is time for the main playthrough. The game will only require you to finish it, and there is no 'time' achievement like in Knights 1. You can go for side quest to get the extra classes and miscellaneous achievements. Be sure to watch out for achievements such as "Specialist" and "Many Talents" as they require you to do specific things. Visit all places on the map for "The Explorer".
By far the most annoying achievement will be "Virtual Reality". Make sure you start the quests on the Laboratory as soon as possible or you will not get that achievement.
Mop-Up:
If you did not get any achievements by now, just shoot for it. There is no need to start a new playthrough, just focus on what you need and go for it
Conclusion:
This game is fun and will keep you hooked up as Knights 1 did. The story and plot are different, and some annoying achievements were taken out for new ones that are more interesting. There is some grind in there, but it was pleasant for me. Have some fun playing this game as I did!
