This will prevent you from full clearing any of the years, making those achievements unobtainable without reinstalling the game and losing your game progress. Introduction

Little Acorns is a cutesy, 2-D platformer that has you controlling a squirrel...jumping, grappling, and swinging through 80 seasonal-themed levels collecting acorns, baby squirrels, and fruit. You have a limited amount of time to gather all of the acorns on the level to open the exit door and escape through it. The controls are crisp and easy to learn, making this game quite fun to play. This game is basically a direct port of the iPhone version that was released early in 2012 except now with 33% more levels. Currently the game is listed at $0.99 in the Marketplace.

Step 1: Full Clear All Levels

Play through all the levels starting from the beginning, collecting all acorns and fruit, as well as beating the par times on each level. It is recommended you keep retrying each level while it is still fresh in your mind.

Step 2: Mop-Ip

Complete whatever miscellaneous achievements you may have remaining. There should be very few left.

Conclusion

The hardest part to this game is completing each level under the par time. The lack of any helpful YouTube videos can make finding the perfect strategy for these time consuming and occasionally frustrating. Other than that, the trek to completing this game is straight-forward and quite easy.

These four achievements simply require that you "basic clear" each year of the game. Basic clear only requires that you collect all of the possible acorns which you must do to open each escape door and progress to the subsequent level anyways. These achievements unlock after all acorns are collected for a year and you complete the boss level (which has no acorns).

Year 4, Full Clear
These four achievements require you to "full clear" each year of the game. Full clear requires not only for you to collect all of the acorns, but to also collect all the fruit, and beat the par time for each level of the year. You can check what you are missing from the level select screens. Each level needs to have the picture of an acorn, a fruit, and a star (represents par time beaten) next to it.

I recommend that you collect all of the acorns and become familiar with the level on your first attempt of a level. After collecting all acorns, collect all of the fruit and then exit through the door. You should have plenty of time. In your subsequent attempts of the level, you will only need to worry about collecting all of the acorns as fast as possible to beat the par time. With this strategy, you should have to play each level only 5 times or less. There will be some exceptions on levels where high-precision jumping and grappling is required.
Perfectionist

Full clear of the entire game
This achievement only requires you to full clear through Year 3, not the entire game. This is likely a glitch resulting from the fact the Year 4 was added to the Windows Phone port of the game and was not included in the original iPhone version. See "Year 4 - Done Properly" for some tips on full clearing levels.
Stay a while…

…Stay forever!
This achievement only requires you to play the game for a cumulative total of 1 hour. It does not need to be consecutive. This will come with natural progression as full clearing all levels takes far longer than this.
Jolly Jumper

Jump around!
This achievement requires that you jump a cumulative total of 2,500 times. This will come with natural progression and should unlock before full clearing Year 2.
Grapple Combo

Who needs platforms?
This achievement requires you to swing between 5 different grapple points without touching the ground. Year 2, Spring 4 is an easy place to get this achievement. In the middle of the level, there is a cluster of 8 grapple points. Kill the enemies first to make this easier, then just hit 5 of the 8 grapples without touching the ground.
Grapple Master

It's fun to swing!
This achievement requires that you grapple a cumulative total of 1,000 times. This will come with natural progression while full clearing all the levels; this will likely unlock before you complete Year 2.
Fruit Frenzy

It's good for you
This achievement requires that you collect a cumulative total of 100 fruit. Each level has 5 fruit, so if you full clear each level, you will receive this after you collect the last fruit on Year 1's boss level. Fruit only appear once you collect all of the acorns on a level except for boss levels in which they are there from the get-go.
Combo Kill

This achievement requires that you kill 3 enemies without touching the ground. You will probably get this without even trying. A good method is to get a "Tough Nut" power-up which gives you invincibility and will let you grapple and swing into spiders or bees. Another good method is to load up the boss level of Year 1. Proceed until you get to the section with a bunch of bees flying in a circle. With some timed jumps, you can kill the first bee, bounce to the second bee and kill it, and then bounce to the third bee and kill it. They are all in a line.
Multi Kill!

Invincibility is fun
This achievement requires that you kill 5 enemies while invincible. To become invincible, you need to collect the "Tough Nut" power-up (it looks like little blue microwaves with red buttons), and then kill five enemies before it expires. This again should come without even trying, but a very easy place to achieve this is on Year 1, Winter 3. Proceed upwards to the level that contains two enemy squirrels and 6 bees. Pick up the power-up and take out all 8 enemies in a row. Simple.
Pinball Wizard

Boing-Boing-Boing
This achievement requires that you bounce between 3 different springs in a row without touching the ground. This will come with natural progression as many levels require you to do this to complete them. The first level this is possible in is Year 2, Autumn 4. Hit the three staggered springs consecutively.
Elevator Action

Master the moving platforms
This achievement requires that you jump between 3 moving platforms without falling or touching solid ground. This will most certainly come with natural progression as many times you are required to jump on more than 3 consecutive moving platforms just to finish the level. This can be obtained on Year 2, Summer 3 easily right at the beginning of the level where you must jump on 4 consecutive moving platforms to progress.
Sparkle Motion

Swinging and sparkling
This achievement requires that you grapple while powered up. Just collect any power-up and then grapple. You will get this without even trying as well.
Nice Catch!

Save the babies!
This achievement requires that you jump to catch a falling baby. You will most likely obtain this one by accident. Babies are the little squirrels that you must collect on the last level of each season of a year. If you are having trouble, try loading up the last stage of Year 1, Autumn. Wait around near the middle of the lowest tier of the stage (to the right of where you start). Soon several babies will begin falling down to your level. Just try and jump to intercept one before they hit the ground. This should only take a couple of attempts or less.
