Introduction:
Be the playmaker in Madden NFL 16 with all-new controls that allow you to dominate in the battle for air supremacy. New QB mechanics including body-relative throws and touch passes provide unprecedented depth and control of the football while under center. Combined with a new risk/reward catch and pass-defend system, get ready for the biggest WOW moments in franchise history.

Abbreviated Walkthrough:
Like previous Madden Games, the achievements are quite straight forward and simple and can be unlocked in 10-15 Hours.

Begin by changing one penalty slider in the settings menu to unlock "Lab Rat". Next, move onto the easier MUT achievements. Win an auction to unlock "Negotiator". Create a team to unlock "This is my Ultimate Team", complete the Getting Started Objective to unlock "Beyond a Hobby" and win a solo challenge to unlock "Grindin' Solos".

Now move on to the new mode for 16, Draft Champions. Simply go to Draft Champions to unlock "That was Easy". Draft a team in solo mode, making sure to draft five players with the same style to unlock "Draft with Style". Draft a player with an OVR 10-points higher than your team to unlock "Great Pick". Draft a team with an OVR of 83+ to unlock "Good on Paper". Win three straight games to unlock "Now do it Again", "Online Next?" and "The Champion". Finally, draft four more teams and purposely lose your first game to unlock "Draftaholic".

Next, move onto the Gatorade Skills Trainer. Earn at least a bronze in every drill to unlock "Understanding" and "Run Degree". Earn at least one gold to unlock "Going for Gold". Finally, beat the level 25 boss in the Gauntlet to unlock "Threw down the Gauntlet".

Next are the easiest achievements in the game, Legacy mode. First download the Dallas99 roster noted in the guide. Now start a new legacy with the downloaded roster and sim 10 years to unlock all 10 "Legacy Award" achievements.

Now it's time to unlock solo game achievements. Get a Neutral Zone Infraction to unlock "Early Bird". Throw a Touch Pass for a touchdown to unlock "Put Some Touch On It". Strip the ball to unlock "Peanut Punch". Intercept the ball with a user pick with J.J. Watt to unlock "Turn down for Watt". Record four assisted tackles to unlock "Assisted" and finally allow the CPU to have a 17+ point lead at halftime and comeback to win to unlock "Snickers You're Not You When You're Losing".

Lastly, you will need to be good at online games to unlock the final MUT achievements, or have a boosting partner, to unlock "Stay Focused", "Lay it all on the Line" and "Why not me in the Super Bowl?"

Conclusion:
Aside from the online MUT Achievements, all of the achievements are relatively easy and can be unlocked in 10-15 hours even for the novice Madden player.

Once in a game and on defense, press to switch to a Defensive Lineman. Now press to jump the line and get the neutral zone infraction.
Draft with Style

Build a Team style (5 players of a particular team style).
From the Main Menu, select Draft Champions Mode. You are looking to draft at least five players with the same team style. For example, select five players that have the GP offensive team style for the achievement to unlock.

Offensive Team Styles
GP: Ground and Pound – Run Blocking and Trucking
LP: Long Pass – Pass Blocking and Route Running
SP: Short Pass – Pass Blocking and Catch In Traffic
SR: Speed Run – Run Blocking and Elusiveness

Defensive Team Styles
MD: Man Defense – Play Recognition and Man Coverage
PR: Pass Rush – Block Shedding and Pursuit
RS: Run Stuff – Block Shedding and Tackling

Complete a Draft Champions event undefeated.

From the Main Menu, select Draft Champions Mode. Select Single-Player Draft. Once you are in the draft, draft the highest rated player available to make your teams overall rating rise. Now you are ready to play. You must win three games in order to win the Draft Champions Event undefeated. Each game is 3-minute quarters. If you lose a game, you must re-draft and start over from the first game. Upon winning all three games, you will also unlock "Online Next?" and "Now it Again".

Grindin' Solos

Win a MUT Solo Challenge.

From the Main Menu, select Ultimate Team > Solo Challenges > NFL Journey > Prospect > Rewrite Super Bowl XLIX. This is the quickest and easiest solo challenge and after completing the challenge, the achievement will unlock.
Put Some Touch On It

Throw a Touchdown using the Touch Pass. (No SuperSim or Practice Mode)
Once in a game and on offense near the Red Zone (20-0 yard line), select any passing play. Hike the ball and double-tap and receiver icon to throw a Touch Pass. For example, if you want to throw to your outside receiver, double-tap to throw to him with a Touch Pass. If your receiver catches the ball for a touchdown, the achievement will unlock.
Peanut Punch

Successfully use the strip ball mechanic. (No SuperSim or Practice Mode)

From the Main Menu, select Customize > Settings > Settings > CPU Skills. Now turn the CPU Skills for Fumble down to 0. Once in a game and on defense, when tackling an offensive player, press to attempt a strip. Once you strip the ball, causing the offensive player to fumble and you recover the fumble, the achievement will unlock.
Beyond a Hobby

Complete a MUT set.

The Ultimate Team Kickoff set in the Redemption folder is the quickest and easiest set to complete. On the Main Menu, select Ultimate Team Challenges. Complete the Getting Started Objective and you will get one collectible for the set, and once you buy the Welcome Pack for 50 coins, you will get the other collectible once you open the pack and the achievement will unlock.

Draft a team with an OVR greater than 82 in Draft Champions.

From the Main Menu, select Draft Champions Mode. Select Single-Player Draft. This is somewhat a luck based achievements because you are only given the option to draft one of three different players per round. Start out by selecting a coach. It does not matter which coach you choose as you will always start out with a level 73 team rating.

I have heard that selecting the best overall player can help you reach a team rating of 82+, but I have also heard drafting players with a team style that of your coach, it too can make your overall rating 82+. This is very much a try and fail achievement. The downside to this achievement is once you draft a team, you must play a game, quickly exit the game to forfeit and re-draft. Unfortunately, you are only allowed to draft once every 15-minutes.
Draftaholic

Complete 5 Draft Events.

From the Main Menu, select Draft Champions Mode. Select Single-Player Draft. Play your first game and once you are in control of your players, pause the game and select Exit Game to forfeit. One you are back to the Draft Champions menu, collect your MUT reward and select Start New Event. Unfortunately, you can only do a draft every 15-minutes. Do this 5-times and the Achievement will unlock.
Lab Rat

Change 1 or more penalty sliders in the settings menu.
From the Main Menu, select Customize > Settings > Settings > Penalties. Move any slider left or right and press for the achievement to unlock.
Why not me in the Super Bowl?

Make it to a MUT Seasons Super Bowl.

Probably the toughest achievement in the game. You must build a great team and win the majority of your games. You could also attempt to have a boosting partner. For the MUT online games, this is what you need to do. Have a boosting partner. Do a custom search for low DNF and similar skill level (assuming you are both similarly skilled players, and have little DNF%). This will make it the quickest and easiest. Once you are matched in a lobby, you will need to win all the games in a row until you are in the Super Bowl.

Draft a player with an OVR at least 10 points higher than the base team's OVR in Draft Champions.
From the Main Menu, select Draft Champions Mode. Select Single-Player Draft. Once you select a coach, your team will be randomly generated and your OVR rating will be 73. You must draft a player with an individual rating higher than 73.

Easiest unlocked using two controllers, but if you don't have two controllers, first go to Customize > Settings > Settings > CPU Skills. From here you want to lower all of the CPU's passing skills.

Now go to Play Now, select the Houston Texans and play against any lower rated team such as the Oakland Raiders or the Tennessee Titans. Once you are in the game on defense, press until you are in control of J.J. Watt. Wait for the CPU offense to pass the ball, get close to the receiver and press to attempt a user-pick. You cannot unlock this if the CPU intercepts the ball.

Understanding

Earn at least one bronze medal in all drills inside of Skills Trainer.

From the Main Menu, select Gatorade Skills Trainer. There is one basic tutorial and nine skill types that you must pass with at least a bronze. These skill types range from Running and Passing plays, to pre-play control audibles. Select a high rated team like the Green Bay Packers, New England Patriots or the Seattle Seahawks and play at Rookie difficulty. Because you only need at least a bronze, the novice Madden player should have no problem unlocking this achievement.
Negotiator

Win a MUT auction.
From the Main Menu, select Ultimate Team > Auctions and Trades > Auction House. Press and hold to select Buy Now Price. Click to sort. Click on a card and select Buy Now. The achievement will unlock after you confirm your purchase. If you need coins, go into your collection and Quick Sell some lower cards for a quick 50 Coins.
Threw Down the Gauntlet Again

Defeat the Level 25 Boss of the Skills Trainer Gauntlet.

From the Main Menu, select Gatorade Skills Trainer > Gauntlet. The Gauntlet is a 40-round mode consisting of different skills types. You start with 6 Lives, but you can earn more through random extra life events. Every five rounds you will have to face a boss round. These consist of kicking long FG's, scoring a TD on four defenders without and defenders to protect you to the 25th round, where you must score a TD on media day with all the media people on the field along with defenders trying to tackle you.

There are 40 rounds, but you only need to pass 25 to unlock the achievement. Try to save as many lives as you can for the 25th round as it is the hardest and can take a few tries.

Legacy achievements can be tough, but there is a way to unlock all achievements in under 15 minutes.
1. From the Main Menu, select Customize > Share & Manage Files > Download Community Files.
2. Search for user-roster "Dallas99" and download the roster.
3. Press to back out select Share & Manage Files > Load & Delete files. Now load the Dallas99 roster.
4. Go to Play on the Main Menu, select Franchise, Cloud.
5. Start a new franchise, and select use active roster.
6. Let the roster import for a few seconds, then select the Dallas Cowboys.
7. Under league settings, change the following: Skill Level to All Madden / Re-Sign Players ON, Progress Players ON and Sign Free Agents ON.
8. Save settings, go to select role. Select Coach > New Coach > Team Builder > Accept & Continue .
9. Start playing the franchise.
10. Select Advance Week > Jump Ahead: Sim 10 Years.
That is it. Go make a sandwich, walk the dog, watch TV. Come back 15 minutes later and you should have all 10 Legacy achievements!

Going for Gold

Earn gold from a drill inside the Skills Trainer.
From the Main Menu, select Gatorade Skills Trainer. Select a high rated team like the Green Bay Packers, New England Patriots or the Seattle Seahawks and play at Rookie difficulty. Select Help! I am new to Madden > Player Position Basics. You only need three out of ten successful attempts to earn a Gold Medal.
Walter Payton Legacy Award

Snickers You're Not You When You're Losing

Comeback and win when trailing by 17+ points at halftime. (No SuperSim or Co-Op)
Easiest done using two controllers. If you do not have two controllers, from the Main Menu, select Customize > Settings > Settings > CPU Skills. Lower all CPU Skills for both Offense and Defense. Now play a Play Now game as a higher rated team (Patriots, Packers, Seahawks) against a lower rated team (Raiders, Titans). Set the game clock to 3-5 min quarters. Allow the CPU opposition to have a 17+ lead at halftime. Now, make your comeback. With a higher rated team, playing against a lower rated team and having sliders in your favor, this is very easy.
