Introduction
Military Madness: Nectaris is a turn based strategy game and a remake of the original Military Madness released on the TurboGrafx-16 console. The game consists of several maps where opposing factions use a set arrangement of vehicles, aircraft and/or infantry called squads to do battle with one another. Each squad contains 8 units which act as hit points for the squad. Once the number of units in a squad reaches 0, the squad is destroyed. The goal of each stage is to either destroy all opposing squads, capture the enemy base or force your opponent to surrender (the AI never surrenders so this 3rd win condition is only available in multiplayer). To make the game move along faster, you can set the Movement and Combat Speeds to Instant in "Settings" within the "Help and Options Menu". Also in the "Help and Options Menu" are squad descriptions and basic tactics which are great resources for beginners.

Normal and Advanced Campaigns
This game is a direct port of the original Military Madness so walkthroughs written for the original game such as this one can be used to help complete the campaign maps. The normal and advanced campaigns have 16 maps each (32 maps total). The advanced campaign is available from the very start and can be played concurrently with normal, however the campaign completion achievements do not stack. Quick Save is very useful right before a confrontation so if you make a mistake, you can just use Quick Load to recover your losses.

Multiplayer
All the multiplayer achievements can only be unlocked in ranked matches. You'll play quite a few matches to reach level 50 so Humiliation, AYBABTU, and Search and Destroy should unlock naturally as you progress through match after match.

Conclusion/Clean Up
Military Madness: Nectaris is an easy game to 100%. If you missed Battle of the Bears, Top Gun, Snack Time, or Mule Be Sorry during the campaign, just start up the recommended maps in the guide and only focus on getting the achievement.

Battle of the Bears

In the campaign, destroy a squad of POLARS with a squad of GRIZZLYS or vise-versa.
Your POLAR squad must deliver the final blow to destroy the opposing GRIZZLY squad or vise versa (your GRIZZLY destroys opposing POLAR). It's recommended to bring down the opposing squad's unit count to 2 or 3 with another allied squad before you move in for the kill with a POLAR or GRIZZLY. This can be accomplished in the Normal Campaign on SENECA (6th Map) or the Advanced Campaign on ARBINE (6th Map) by allowing the enemy to capture all the factories on both.
Top Gun

In the campaign, get a squad of EAGLES, FALCONS, or HUNTERS to Rank 8.
A rank is achieved when you destroyed at least 1 opposing unit within a squad and 2 ranks are achieved when you destroy an entire squad or lose no units in a confrontation. Your rank progress is shown under the squad type and total units at the bottom right. Easily done in the Advanced Campaign on IRAGAN (2nd Map). The enemy will have only 2 anti-air squads, a HAWKEYE and a GIANT. Stay away from the attack range of these 2 squads and use your EAGLE to attack the other ground forces until you reach rank 8.
Snack Time

In the campaign, destroy a squad of RABBITS with a squad of LYNX.
Easily done in the Advanced Campaign on ARBINE (6th Map). Your LYNX squad must deliver the final blow to destroy the opposing RABBIT squad. It's recommended to bring down the opposing RABBIT's unit count to 3 or 4 with another squad before you move your LYNX in for the kill.
Mule Be Sorry

In the campaign, destroy a loaded MULE squad.
Easily done in the Advanced Campaign on IRAGAN (2nd Map). The enemy will always load a CHARLIE in the MULE. Destroy the MULE while the CHARLIE is still in it and the achievement should unlock.
Humiliation

In a Ranked Match, destroy an 8-troop strong unit in a single attack.
A technique to cut the defense of an opposing squad (x) in half is to "surround" it with 2 allied squads (o) on opposite hexes like so:

Additionally, allied squads added to the hexes around the opposing squad will lend offensive support further increasing the potential damage done on your opponent.

The achievement is easily done by moving several squads around an infantry squad such as a CHARLIE, KILROY or PANTHER without attacking it then use a tank squad to deliver the killing blow. You will be able to eliminate all 8 units with one hit. Must be done in a Ranked Match.
AYBABTU

Win a Ranked Match by capturing an enemy base.
Each map has an enemy base. Simply move a CHARLIE, KILROY, or PANTHER squad onto an unoccupied enemy base to win the match and unlock the achievement. Must be done in a Ranked Match.
Search and Destroy

Win a Ranked Match by destroying all enemy squads or by your opponent surrendering.
Eliminate all enemy squads on a map or force your opponent to surrender and the achievement is yours. Must be done in a Ranked Match.

Attain player level 30, unlocking all Commander Customization for Ranked Matches.

Prior to starting a match, you have the option to customize your commander with several abilities by pressing in the match Lobby. Don't press , ready up and win a ranked match to unlock this achievement.

Complete the normal campaign.
Complete the map NECTOR in the normal campaign and this achievement will unlock.
