Introduction
Monster Island is a physics-based puzzle game that is very similar to and made by the same folks that created Fragger. It involves killing monsters with objects that are launched by you, including rocks and different types of bombs. It can really only be enjoyed being played without a guide, as puzzle games always are. The fun of the game is struggling through levels and conquering them. That said, if you are looking for a fast 200 gamerscore, using a guide will net you all the achievements in about 4 hours. The game is slightly more difficult on a desktop PC with mouse controls, as a few of the levels require coordination and timing that is best-suited for a screen with multi-touch capabilities (a tablet). Currently the game is listed at $3.99 in the Windows 8 Store.
Step 1: Complete the game
Play through all the levels starting from the beginning. Try as get as many stars as you can. If you want your gamerscore quick, skip to Step 2.
Step 2: Obtain 3 stars all levels
Use the video guides outlined below to obtain the rest of the stars.
Step 3: Mop-up miscellaneous achievements
Complete any miscellaneous achievements you may have missed while getting the required amount of stars. There should only be a few left.
Conclusion
All in all, Monster Island is a fun little puzzle game that will give you 200 fairly easy gamerscore if using a guide, and a small amount of challenge and fun if you're not.
