Introduction:
Welcome to Mr. Pumpkin Adventure, a simple point and click adventure game that sees you playing as the titular Mr. Pumpkin through a series of short chapters with simple puzzles that are typical of point and click adventures. This game is very short and can be completed very quickly, but there are three endings, so you'll have to manipulate saves to get all of the achievements in a single playthrough. There are also collectibles in the form of diary pages, four in each chapter, and you'll need to collect them all. With a guide, you can obtain the completion in around an hour, making this a very easy and stress-free completion. Let's get started.
Walkthrough:
There is no chapter select in this game and no autosaving, so you want to make sure you make manual saves periodically just to be safe as you progress. Toward the end of the game you'll have to make manual saves to make sure you get all of the ending achievements, but make one at the start of each chapter too, just to be safe.
The easiest way to complete this game is to simply follow the video walkthrough, located in the "Domination" achievement solution, which will get you all achievements in around 30-60 minutes and ensure you don't miss anything.
If you prefer to go in blind and play the game yourself for fun, but still don't want to miss any achievements, make sure you at least do the following:
- Click on the question mark in the upper right corner and play the minigame at least once to get a score of 200.
- Collect all 4 pieces of diary pages in each chapter.
- Make separate manual saves at the starts of chapters 6, 7, and 8 so you can come back later for the three different endings.
The reason for this is because in chapter 6 you can beat the game with an ending, or you can complete chapter 6 to move on to chapter 7. The same is the case in chapter 7. Because of these branching paths and multiple ways to beat the game, there are a bunch of missable achievements if you don't make manual saves.
Other than that, that's all there is to the game. Even without a guide you can complete this game in under 2 hours, but since you're here, you're likely looking for achievements as quick and easily as possible. Refer to the "Domination" achievement solution for a 100% walkthrough courtesy of Maka.
Conclusion:
Mr. Pumpkin Adventure is a very strange and surreal point and click adventure game. The lands you're in and characters you'll see are reminiscent of something Dali would have painted. It's a short and very easy game, with some very easy achievements to boot. Since that's what you're probably here for, enjoy one of the fastest and easiest completions of the year.
