Introduction:
This is an incredibly easy game to get the full 1000 . If you like basketball games then you might find this game very enjoyable. A majority of the achievements are offline and can be obtained in the play now feature and the 10 online achievements are boostable. Silders can be changed in this game to make things easier for you as well. This is recommended so that games and achievements will be easier and faster to get. Also, two controllers are available for use without any consequences with respect to unlocking the achievements.

Step 1: Rivalry Games
The first thing that you’re going to want to get out of the way is the rivalry game achievements. They must be done on Hall of Fame difficulty and can prove to be pesky to some players. Just set the sliders in your favor and put the game time to one minute to finish all the rivalry games as fast as possible.

Step 2: In-Game and Player Achievements
The next thing after the rivalry game achievements is to get the statistical achievements and the player achievements. Put the game time to more than five minutes so you have enough time to accumulate the necessary stats for the players and also put the difficulty on the easiest difficulty. The teams that you’re going to want to use are the Eastern and Western Conference All Star teams because they have a majority of the best players on their rosters, so after you have all the stats needed for one player, you can sub him out during the game to make things easier. If getting the necessary stats against the computer is proving too hard, just plug in a second controller and have a friend help you or do it by yourself.

Step 3: Online
The final part of the game is to get the online achievements. They are boostable and you can find an achievement partner in the achievement trading thread here.


NOTE: The online league and tournament achievements the trickiest because you need multiple people, but if you keep on asking on the achievement trading board, you’ll eventually find some people.

Conclusion:
Congratulations on completing the game! A fairly easy game to play, but a rather enjoyable game at the same time.

  • 1 Ranked Street Win

    You can either get this legit or with a friend. Have a friend join the same lobby, then after the tip-off just have your friend quit and you'll get the win.
     

  • 10 Ranked Wins

    You need to win 10 ranked games online for this achievement.

     

    Same as five ranked wins, only this time 10.

  • Online League Game

    You need to complete a league game online for this achievement.

     

    Same as tournament game, only the minimum is four people.

  • Online Tournament Game

    You need to complete a tournament game online for this achievement.

     
    Organize a tournament, with a minimum of eight people, then just have one of you quit after the tip-off.You don't have to win, so you'll get it no matter what.
     

  • "My Availability"

    You need to set up "My Availability" for this achievement.

    For this achievement, just go to *Xbox Live*, then *My Player Card*, then *My Availability*, then press  and enter some text. Then hit  and your achievement should unlock.

  • 5 Ranked Win Streak

    You need to win 5 ranked games in a row online for this achievement.

     
    Just make sure and get five ranked wins in a row on your way to getting all of the online achievements.
     

  • 20 Ranked Wins

    You need to win 20 ranked games online for this achievement.

    Same as five ranked wins, only with 20 wins, obviuosly.

  • Team Assists

    You need to dish out at least 30 assts with any team for this achievement.

     
    Pass alot and shoot. Don't shoot the ball if you've moved more than 2 steps.
     
    BASICS:
    1. Rebound: When someone shoots and misses, the player that get the ball gets the rebound.
    2. Assist:When a player passes the ball to another player, and that player scores as a result of that pass, then the player that passes the ball gets an assist.
    3. Score/Points: When someone shoots the ball and it goes into the basket, that person has just scored a point.
    4. Steals: When a player swipes the ball from another player, that player now has a steal.
    5. Block: When a player shoots the ball, and another player swats it away, it has just been blocked.
    6. 3 pointer: a shot made behind the farthest line away from the basket.
     

  • Team Blocks

     

    20

    You need to block at least 15 shots with any team for this achievement.

     
    Block 15 shots with any team. Use a team that's really tall. Also, using the second controller method wouldn't hurt either.
     

  • Team Steals

     

    20

    You need to snatch at least 15 stls with any team for this achievement.

     

    Just set your steals slider to 100 and you'll get this extremley fast.

  • Team Rebounds

     

    20

    You need to outrebound your opponent by at least 15 with any team for this achievement.

     

    Rebound a lot, and don't let them rebound. Remember, both offensive and defensive rebounds count.

  • Team 3pt FG's

     

    15

    You need to make at least 15 3pt FG's with any team for this achievement.

     

    Set 3-pointer slider to 100, and your pretty much garunteed not to miss. Be sure to shoot at least 10.

  • Defensive FG%

     

    15

    You need to hold the opposing team's FG% below 40% with any team for this achievement.

     
    With the opposing team's sliders to 0, let them shoot a few times, missing all of them, then just run down the clock and you'll recieve this achievement.
     

  • Lights Out

     

    15

    You need to shoot over 65% from the field with any team for this achievement [min 40 FGA's].

     
    You can either just dunk all the time, or have all of your stats set to 100 and you won't miss much.
     

  • Track Meet

     

    15

    You need to score at least 40 fastbreak pts with any team for this achievement.

     
    Fast break points are points scored when it's just you and another man on half of the court. When you get a rebound, just be sure to go down and score fast.  You can shoot threes to make it go faster.
     

  • Second Unit

     

    15

    You need to score at least 40 bench pts with any team for this achievement.

     
    Bench points are points scored with a player not on the starting team. Just sub in players and shoot threes when they are set to 100.
     

  • Inside Domination

     

    20

    You need to score at least 60 pts in the paint with any team for this achievement.

     

    Set your oppenent's defensive stats to 0. Then, just dunk a lot.

  • Good Hands

     

    20

    You need to record at least 20 assists and less than 6 turnovers with any team for this achievement.

     
    Go for it when your going for the Steve Nash achievment. Just don't pass the ball too far down court or into heavy traffic.
     

  • All-Hustle

     

    15

    You need to record at least 10 off rebs, 5 blks, and 5 stls with any team for this achievement.

     
    Set your teams shooting to 0, so you can get the rebounds easily. For five blocks, use the two controller method. For five steals, set your steals to 100, and your oppenets ball handling to 0.
     

  • All-Heart

     

    15

    You need to start the 4th period down by at least 10 pts and win with any team for this achievement.

    (1) 

    Set time to one minute quarters. Have the computer set to easy and let them score 10 points, then when the 4th quarter comes just shoot a few threes and win the game.

  • Team 3pt FG's

     

    20

    You need to make at least 10 3pt FG's with at least 45% 3pt% with any team for this achievement.

     

    Just concentrate on 3 pointers with your best team. Adjust sliders to help you.

  • Ice Water

     

    15

    You need to shoot over 85% from the FT line with any team for this achievement [min 15 FTA's].

     
    This is EXTREMLEY easy with two controllers. I suggest using the Phoniex Suns, and Steve Nash. Using the second controller, keep pressing the 'select' button, which is the intentional foul button. Make sure Steve Nash has the ball. after about the 3rd time getting fouled, you'll then shoot 2 free throws. Keep doing this until you have over 85 % AND at least 15 attempts.
     

  • Lockdown

     

    20

    You need to record at least 10 blks and 10 stls with any team for this achievement.

     
    Do this at the same time your doing the above achievement. This time also put your steals up to 100 and the other team's ball handling to 0. Again use Kevin Garnett since you're going for the same achievement.
     

  • Celtics vs Lakers Rivalry

    You need to win this rivalry as BOS or LAL in Hall of Fame difficulty for this achievement.

  • Spurs vs Mavs Rivalry

     

    30

    You need to win this rivalry as SA or DAL in Hall of Fame difficulty for this achievement.

     

    Set it to HOF diffuculty before the game starts, and 1 min quarters.As soon as the game starts go into the sliders and set all of their stats to 0 and then just have a hayday of scoring on the hardest difficulty!*SIDE NOTE* it doesn't matter which team you are.

  • Pistons vs Heat Rivalry

    You need to win this rivalry as DET or MIA in Hall of Fame difficulty for this achievement.

  • Knicks vs Nets Rivalry

    You need to win this rivalry as NY or NJ in Hall of Fame difficulty for this achievement.

  • Lakers vs Clippers Rivalry

    You need to win this rivalry as LAL or LAC in Hall of Fame difficulty for this achievement.

    You need to record at least 30 pts, 8 rebs, and 8 assts with Dwyane Wade for this achievement.

     

    Get 30 points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists with Dwayne wade. D Wade is on the Miami Heat. Look at "Tim Duncan" for tips

    You need to score at least 81 pts with Kobe Bryant for this achievement.

     

    Score AT LEAST 81 points with Kobe Bryant.Kobe is on the LA Lakers. just jack up your 3 pointers to 100 and then keep shooting three's, it will come shortly after.

  • Allen Iverson

    You need to record at least 30 pts, 10 assts, and 5 stls with Allen Iverson for this achievement.

     

    Get 30 points, 10 assists, and 5 steals with AI. AI is on the philly 76ers. Look at "Tim Duncan" for tips.

  • Steve Nash

    You need to record at least 20 pts and 12 assts with Steve Nash for this achievement.

     

    Get 20 points and 12 assists with Steve Nash. By far the easiest of the player achievements.Nash is on the Phoneix Suns

  • Shawn Marion

    You need to record at least 25 pts and 15 rebs with Shawn Marion for this achievement.

     

    Get 25 points, and 15 rebounds with Shawn Marion. Shawn Marion is on the Phoneix Suns.Look at "Tim Duncan" for tips.

    You need to record a 5x5 with Andrei Kirilenko for this achievement.

     

    A 5X5 is getting: 5 points, 5 rebounds, 5 steals, 5 blocks, and 5 assists. Andrei Kirilenko is on the Utah Jazz. see "Tim Duncan" for tips.

  • Shaquille O'Neal

    You need to record at least 25 pts, 12 rebs, and 5 blks with Shaquille O'Neal for this achievement.

     

    Get 25 points, 12 rebounds, and 5 blocks with Shaq. Shaq is on the Miami Heat.Look at "Tim Duncan" for tips.

  • Ben Wallace

    You need to record at least 15 rebs, 5 blks, and 5 stls with Ben Wallace for this achievement.

     

    Get 15 rebounds, 5 blocks, and 5 steals with Ben Wallace. Ben Wallace is on the Chicago Bulls. ***STEALS TIPS***go into the sliders and jack up the steals to 100 for you, and ball handling to 0 for your oppenent. you'll have 5 steals in a matter of seconds.Look at "Tim Duncan" for tips

  • Kevin Garnett

    You need to record at least 28 pts, 15 rebs, and 7 assts with Kevin Garnett for this achievement.

     

    Get 28 points, 15 rebounds, and 7 assists with Kevin Garnett. Kevin Garnett is on the Minnesota T'Wolves.Look at "Tim Duncan" for tips.

  • Yao Ming

    You need to record at least 30 pts, 15 rebs, and 5 blks with Yao Ming.

     

    Get 30 points, 15 rebounds, and 5 blocks with Yao Ming. Yao Ming is on the Houston Rockets.Look at "Tim Duncan" for tips

  • Tim Duncan

    You need to record at least 30 pts, 15 rebs, and 5 blks with Tim Duncan for this achievement.

     

    Get 30 points, 15 rebounds, and 5 blocks.Tim Duncan is on the San Antonio Spurs. You can mess with the sliders, so this shouldn't be tough at all. Set it to rookie, and however long you think this will take you, it really depends on your skill level, i got all of these with 2 min quarters, whereas some people might need 10 mins, doesn't really matter.If your having trouble getting the blocks, you can use a 2nd controller. And to make is even easier, go to the sliders screen in the middle of the game, and set your 3 pointers all the way to the max to get your 30 points out of the way. Once that is done,use the 2nd controller(which is on the other team) have them jack threes, while you stand in front of them and block it. Do this 5 times. And for the rebounds, go into the nba rules section and set goaltending to 0 and all the offensive, defensive in the keys penealtys to 0, that way you can just stand in front of the basket getting the rebounds.

  • Wilt Chamberlain

    You need to score at least 100 pts with any player for this achievement.

     

    I advise you to go for this when you get the Kobe achievement.

  • George Gervin

    You need to score at least 25 pts in a period with any player for this achievement.

     

    Set your 3 pointers to 100, and just jack a bunch of three's. Keep in mind this has to be in ONE QUARTER.

  • Magic Johnson

    You need to dish out at least 20 assts with any player for this achievement.

     

    When your going for the Steve Nash achievment, go for this one too.

  • Bill Russell

    You need to grab at least 25 rebs with any player for this achievement.

     

    Use someone tall and that has speed. I recomend Kevin Garnett. See "Tim Duncan" for tips.

  • Mo Cheeks

     

    20

    You need to snatch at least 10 stls with any player for this achievement.

     

    You can get this easily with pretty much any player. Just have your stealing to 100, and your oppenent's ball handling to 0. Get 10 and you'll get this achievement.

  • Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

     

    20

    You need to block at least 10 shots with any player for this achievement.

    (2) 

    Use a 2nd controller, put it on the other team, stand at the 3 point line, shoot and time it perfectly with your player that your getting the blocks with.I recomend Kevin Garnett of the T'Wolves for this.
