Introduction:
Welcome to NBA Live 10. A great looking basketball game that is fun to play and easy to get most of the achievements. Keep in mind the online servers are no longer active so you CAN NOT COMPLETE THIS GAME. Most achievements are tied to certain players doing X. Some achievements are tied to an opponent or a city. If you are not familiar with the game of basketball use THIS as a guide. Keep in mind that all but one offline achievement can be unlocked on Rookie difficulty.

Step 1: Playing games on Rookie:
First thing you'll want to do is go into My NBA Live 10 in the menu and select settings. Go into rules and turn them off. Go to game play settings and set the difficulty to rookie. Hit and slide all USER settings to the right. Select the CPU settings to the left.

Next trade the following players to the Boston Celtics:

D. Howard (Orlando)
D. Wade (Miami)
K. Bryant (Lakers)
J. Flynn (Minnesota)
T. Parker (San Antonio)
L. James (Cleveland)
B. Roy (Portland)
M. Camby (Clippers)

Now go into Play Game and select the home team as the NY Knicks. Select the away team as the Boston Celtics (this will be the team you control). Make sure you select the Celtics "St. Patrick's Day" Jersey and set the game time to 12 minute quarters. During this game you'll be focusing on the flowing achievements:

"CONNECT WITH D-WADE"
"COME FLY WITH ME"
"FLASH 4/12/09"
"SPRITES DYNAMIC 10"

You should be able to get all of those in your first game. Just use the guide for descriptions on how to get each achievement. For "DOUBLE-DOUBLE" and "MAGICAL," one of your players should get 10 rebounds. Make sure you get 10 assist with with him and 10 points to unlock those achievements.

After that game just keep playing games with the players needed for the rest of the achievements listed below. Remember that once you accomplish the action required for the achievement it will unlock. You can quit out and start the next game:

Step 2: Play on Superstar Difficulty:
Next you going to work on "DAVID AND GOLIATH." Just use the description in the guide and you shouldn't have too much difficulty.

Step 3: Dynasty Sim and Mop Up:
Sim a Dynasty with your super team of all stars. If you make the playoffs save your game. Just keep siming games and save when you win, reload when you lose. After that any other achievements left should be done at this point.

For the most part this game is easy. "Timmy D" and "Broy 1/24/09" might give you fits but if you stick to it you'll unlock them eventually. Good Luck.

Ice Water

Win a solo game in overtime vs. the CPU.

Just win a game in overtime versus the CPU. Play on Rookie and you wont have a problem. Unlocks at the end of the game.
David and Goliath

Defeat the Lakers with the Kings on Superstar difficulty in a solo game vs. the CPU.

You must play on Superstar difficulty. You have to play as the Clippers and beat the Lakers. It has been said you can adjust User Sliders to your favor but that could affect this one. The achievement should unlock when the game is over. This one can be glitchy so keep trying.

Just make a basket from beyond the 3-point line. This can be done on rookie difficulty. Will unlock as soon as you make the 3-point shot.

As you approach the basket hold and when you are close enogh press to dunk. This can be done on Rookie difficulty. Will unlock as soon as you finish your dunk.
Luck of the Irish

Win a single game wearing any St. Patrick's Day jersey in a single solo game.

Make sure you play as a team with a St. Patrick Days Jersey. The Boston Celtics are one of them. This can be done on any difficulty and will unlock at the end of the game.
Game Over In A Flash

Hit a buzzer beater with Dwyane Wade (NBA) in double overtime in a single solo game.

Set the game to Rookie difficulty, 2 minute quarters and rules to off. Play as the Miami Heat and as soon as you get the ball just stand there. At the start of the second overtime try and score a basket with less then 2 seconds left with Dwayne Wade. Will unlock at the end of the game.
Kobe's 81

This one might take a couple of tries. Make sure that Marcus Camby (LA Clippers) is the center on your team. In the User controls slide 3-point shooting all the way to the left. Now start fire up long range 3-pointers. Make sure you start going toward the basket so Camby runs under the net. You have to play in Chicago, so make sure the Bulls are the home team. Can be done on any difficulty and will unlock as soon as you get your 27th rebound.

Get 10 blocks in Oklahoma City with Dwight Howard (NBA) in a single solo game.

This one can give you some trouble as well. Try turning down the game speed and standing under the basket as Howard. Press Y when a player is driving to the basket to attempt a block. It helps to use the player lock feature on Howard so you are always him. You have to be in Oklahoma City so make sure the Thunder are the home team. Can be done on any difficulty and will unlock after your 10th block.

The reason this game gets a 4/10 for difficulty. This one will drive you crazy. You press X to steal the ball but even on Rookie it's still difficulty to do it. Try using THIS guide to get it. Make sure you play the Wizards. Credit tojonlwright25 for the guide. Can be done on any difficulty and will unlocked once you get your 10th steal.

You get a triple double by getting 10 or more of 3 stats. So 10 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists are the easiest to do. As you are working on "CAMBY 12/17/08" once he gets 10 rebounds score 10 points with him. After that get 10 assist (pass the ball with B and then quickly shoot with that player to get an assist).

The description for this achievement is misleading. You basically have to make 5 bank shots off the backboard with the same player. LAY-UPS DO NOT COUNT. You'll know your player is doing a lay-up cause they'll drive to the basket. Try shooting from just outside the free-throw circle and hold the to the left or right (toward the basket) and up. It doesn't happen every time so be patient. This can be done on any difficulty and will unlock as soon as you score your 5 "bank" shot with the same player.
Freestyle Pass

Get an assist using a freestyle pass in a single solo game.
While holding use the to pass it to a player. As soon as the other player catches the ball shoot the ball. Make sure you are close to the basket. This can be done on any difficulty and will unlock as soon as you score the basket.

Turn the game sliders for fouling all the way up. As you go for a dunk you'll get fouled and make the shot. Can be done on any difficulty and will unlock as soon as you make the shot.
