N3 is actually an easy 1000 and more or less a fast 800. This game is similar to "Dynasty Warriors" because like in those games, you have to fight against hordes of enemies.
You have to play through the game with each character TWICE! On the 1st playthrough, you will receive the achievements for finishing each character's story. You have to be on level 9 with each character before you can start your 2nd playthrough. Getting to level 9 with each character is the time consuming part.

1st Playthrough:
You will have to finish the story with every character on your first playthrough. You will get the achievements "Clear Inphyy", "Clear Aspharr" and so on...
After you have completed the story with each character, you should unlock Vigk Vagk (Mystery character). Finish his storyline as well. That will give you the "Clear the mystery character" achievement.
After that, you should load up "Inphyy's" save file and you will see that you have unlocked the special mission. First, you should level up Iphyy but if she is already a level 8 or 9, you can give it a try. Check out the achievement guide below for the perfect method. As soon as you defeated the King of Nights you should unlock the "Clear special mission" achievement.

Getting an A or S rank on every mission:
This shouldn't take too long. You will have already achieved a lot of A ranks on your first playthrough. Only a few missions should give you problems. For example, the woods mission with Iphyy. Whenever you are stuck on a mission you can look for advice in the achievement guide below or go to the Niney Nine Nights forums and read what other people did to get A or S ranks there.

Level up all characters to LVL9:
Let's move on to the time consuming achievement. After you finish everything I mentioned above, you should be at least on level 6 or 7 with each character. So now you have to boost them up to level 9. You can read the guide below to see which missions are best to level up on or you can just simply check your stats and repeat the battles where you killed the most enemies over and over. This will take you a lot of time especially with Tyurru or Vigk Vagk.

2nd Playthrough:
Once all of your characters have reached level 9, you can start your 2nd playthrough. Make sure you note every mission you completed with the level 9 character. This should be a piece of cake.

Ninety Nine Nights is an easy 1000 but you will spend a lot of time leveling up all the characters to level 9.

  • Complete the special mission.

The special mission is Inphyy’s final mission against the king of nights. To unlock this secret mission, you must beat the game with every single character than load up Inphyy’s file. Once that has been done, look under Ywa-Ue-Uar and there should be a mission called “Another World”.

Beating the King of Nights can be fairly difficult if you don’t know what you’re doing. First things first, if you can’t beat it, keep killing yourself and eventually the difficulty will be lowered. If you look at the loading screen it should show “Mission Name – Level #” (the # states the difficulty. Lower the number the easier it is). Now, what you should do is make sure Inphyy is level 9 because you need the Seraph Butterfly move. After you’ve become level 9, start the mission and zip through the middle using the  to dash. Don’t stop to fight the army of night or branch off and do other things. There’s no point as it would consume too much time. If you have time to spare might as well do it. Once you’ve reached the king of nights, you will see Goblins and Trolls fighting him with an insane amount of army of night soldiers surrounding him. This is definitely a good thing (because of red orbs). What you want to do is make sure that your orb gauge is full, than press  and than  to pull of Seraphs butterfly. You have to make sure he’s standing on the ground and not flying because if he’s flying than it won’t work at ALL. It could take anywhere from 3-7 hits to finish him off. If you’re lucky you’ll find the armband that allows for no orb consumption while using deadly attacks. Also, make sure if you see those silver balls flying at you, Dash and don’t stop because they hurt you real bad. Keep Seraph Butterflying while the king of nights is on the ground and you should finish in no time. It’s not a difficult task at all once you get the hang of seraphs butterfly. You can also use your orb spark and it’ll do a very nice amount of damage to him.

  • Complete all of Dwingvatt's missions.

    Complete the game as Dwingvatt

    Weapons Locations:

L1: Twin fang: Default. No bonus effects.

L2: Assassin's dagger: critical rate + 20% - Chest in Bastide of Varrgand. Path on way to temple.

L3: Devil tooth: Attack +40%, range +80%, Speed +20%, Orb gauge charge +50% - Ice gate. Destroy a lamp(torch) post. At the main Ice gate's ... well gate (last area) hug the fortress wall and go east until you hit the mountains. Now follow the mountains north past 2 sets of 2 large pillars. A very little bit further (still hugging the mountains) you should find this elusive lamp post in a small almost hidden alcove. Destroy it with Orb spark (blue gauge) it should be in the base of the ruined Post.

Khukuri: Attack and range +20%, critical rate +10% - Chest in Bastide of Varrgand. Dead end West of Temple.

L4: Black Scimitar: Attack +40% range +30% - Chest in Ice gate. N/E of gate 5.

L5: Nemesis: Attack +40%, Defense and Critical rate +50% - Chest in Castle of Varrvazzar mission. When you have to kill the king and his three sons, head east until you run into some REALLY thick fog. Hidden in the fog is a chest containing Nemesis.

L6: Hell's Dagger: Attack & guard break +50%, Critical +100% - Chest in Pholya Flatlands. Going south from the center of the map it's near some pillars. Or conversely, going north from where you rescue Dwykfarrio it's near some pillars.

  • Complete all of the mystery character's missions.

Complete the game as Vigk Vagk (he is unlocked after you’ve beaten every characters story mode)

    Weapon Locations:

  • Earn A-ranking in every mission of every character.

Basically, all you have to do is get an “A” ranking or “S” ranking on every mission of all 7 characters. It’s quite easy and should take you no time at all. This is the specific amount of points you need for each mission to get an “A” ranking and there is a specific way how these point are attained. Follow these xbox360achievement.org forum board links to know how these work (special thanks to TheMollyWhopper):

    Link #1

If you’re having any trouble at all attaining an “A” ranking add me to your friends list and message me (gamertag: Perpetualheaven) or refer to the xbox360achievements.org ninety nine nights forum board.

  • Build every character up

This achievement is extremely deceiving. Most people assume that all you have to do is get every character to level 9 and you’ll get the achievement. That’s not true. What you really have to do is get every character to level 9 than re-beat the entire game (redo every single mission) with all 7 characters at level 9. I know it’s dumb but that’s how it works. Some people think it’s a glitch but it isn’t.

Where to level for each character:

Inphyy: Fort Wyandeek (explore all areas branching off)

Aspharr: Fort Wyandeek (explore all areas branching off)

Myifee: Pholya Flatlands (when you have to stop the goblins going across the bridge which is the area with the block rate, don’t let the block rate hit 100.. just keep waiting and waiting until you get bored than finish it off)

Dwingvatt: Bastide of Varrgandd (make sure to kill as many guys as you can)

    Tyurru: Pholya Flatlands

Klarrann: Pholya Flatlands (not a lot of kills but the orbs received are A LOT and it will save a lot of time instead of Fort Wyandeek)

Vigk Vagk: Pholya Flatlands (there is 4 bosses in this and you gain a lot of experience off them. Don’t use Bastide of Varrgandd even though you receive more orbs, your experience doesn’t add because the bosses drop 3 bonuses XP tombs and you get 12 in total. If you want to save time do Pholya Flatlands).

If you’re having any trouble at all just send me a pm on x360a or go look on the xbox360achievements.org forum board for ninety nine nights and your question might be answered. If you do decide to go to the forum boards first and your question isn’t listed, just message me and I’ll be more than happy to help you.
