Introduction:
Welcome to One Eyed Kutkh, a short and simple point and click adventure game with virtually no puzzles, just interactions and progression. You'll spend the first half of the game as One Eyed Kutkh trying to repair your ship after it crashes onto a foreign planet, and the second half of the game is spent as a native of the planet trying to help. There are two achievements tied to progress but the rest are all easily missed, so make sure to follow the guide to avoid multiple playthroughs. There isn't much story or gameplay to speak of, so let's just get started unlocking these fast and easy achievements.
Walkthrough:
There is no chapter select in this game and no autosaving, so you will have to play the game in a single sitting. Don't worry - you can complete the game in 30 minutes or less if you follow a guide. If you prefer a video guide, the "Peacemaker" achievement solution has a 100% walkthrough courtesy of Maka. If you prefer to follow text, I have ordered the achievements in the guide HERE in the order they are unlocked, so you can simply move on from one achievement to the next, and they'll serve as a text walkthrough of the game. For reference, this is the order you'll unlock the achievements:
- Persistent
- Sleeper
- Explorer
- A cunning plan
- Fish
- Survivor
- Curious*
- Ermine
- Stubborn
- Peacemaker
*Just be aware that the requirements of "Curious" start from before the previous two achievements though, so after "A cunning plan" you should jump right to "Curious" to be safe.
As long as you don't miss any miscellaneous actions along the way, when you finish the game you'll have all of the achievements in well under an hour.
Conclusion:
One Eyed Kutkh is another strange, simple, and short game from Sometimes You. There isn't any dialogue and barely any story, and the gameplay is so simple and basic that there is zero challenge whatsoever. Like with some of their previous games (such as NORTH) you're likely playing this just for very fast and easy achievements, so enjoy one of the fastest ones out there.
