Paperboy is a remade version of the arcade classic of the same name. It's almost identical to the original, except for the addition of multiplayer. The game is fairly easy to get the full 200 on, but some of the achievements will require some practice. Ideally, you could get them all in four playthroughs (one on Easy Street, one on Hard Way, and two in multiplayer), but odds are you'll have to do a few more for certain achievements.

Glitched Achievement: "Hard Day's Work" is glitchy. It may or may not take more than 7 successful deliveries to earn the achievement. If you don't get it at 7, then try to get every house, because if you get a perfect round, the achievement will unlock, whether or not it glitched originally.

Step 1: Easy Street [4 for 60]
This is fairly easy. Just complete a week on Easy Street and these three achievements will unlock, either at the end or sometime along the way: "Easy Day", "Good Score", and "Easy Week". You'll more than likely also get "Bundle" along the way, but if you don't, it's extremely easy to do by playing the first level again.

Step 2: Hard Way [2 for 35]
All you have to do here is deliver seven papers in the first day and finish the second day for "Hard Day's Work" and "Hard Days" respectively. It's harder than Easy Way, but it should still be fairly easy.

Step 3: Single Player Wrap-Up [2 for 40]
These achievements are a little harder, although you might have gotten them already. The achievements are "Perfect Aim" and "Racer Boy". Use the guide below for help on these.

Step 4: Multiplayer [4 for 65]
Now, you'll need to get online and find some matches or boost with a friend (or post in the achievement trading thread here). "Team Player" and "Smasher" are pretty easy and straightforward, so they shouldn't be any problem. "Vandal" will be a little harder, but if you're good, you should be able to get it in a few tries. If not, boost. This leaves you with one final achievement, which is also the hardest. For "Stunt Master", you will need to finish the training courses two days in a row in co-op. If you practice and find someone who's equally skilled, this shouldn't be too much of a problem, though.

Congratulations! You now have the full 200 on Paperboy!

There are 12 achievements with a total of 200 points

  • Complete two days on Easy Street.

Finish two days on easy street. You will get this without much trouble. I recommend that you do this before you tackle the online achievements.

  • Obtain a score of 8000 or more during an Xbox Live Co-op match.

Scoring 8,000 points in Co-Op doesn’t take much of an effort. Even the worst players should be able to get through the first day. This is a cumulative total of both player’s scores.

  • Bundle

Pick up 5 bundles of newspapers in one life.

Pick up five bundles without losing a life. Day one on Easy is the way to do this one.

  • Break 30 windows in one day during an Xbox Live Co-op match.

Break 30 windows. For this one, I picked up all the bundles I could reach and through all of my papers through windows. Co-Op match.

  • Finish the training course two days in a row during an Xbox Live Co-op match.

There are two things that you have to consider when approaching this achievement. The first is that you need a partner that can last through the first two levels. You can get this through a private match with a friend who can play a little.

To get through the obstacle course takes patience. The achievement does not call for insane stunts or great bonus times. I recommend that you use the top branching path as you see more of it and to avoid unnecessary jumps.

Practice this in single player until you can consistently get through Monday and Tuesdays obstacle course.

  • Get a score of 3000 points or more.

3,000 points is as simple as making a first down in Madden 2006. You’ll probably do this on the first day on easy street.

  • Deliver newspapers to every subscriber on a Monday.

You have to deliver every paper. There are a few houses where you have to get the paper in the box. I recommend that you go steady throughout the level and then slow down once you get to these harder targets. If you go too slow bees will show up and kill you. You can’t go backwards. Practice, practice, practice.

  • Deliver 7 or more newspapers in one day on Hard Way.

Deliver seven papers on the first day of Hard. This achievement is glitched on my Xbox but shouldn’t be that difficult. You can die and still get the achievement.

  • Complete one week on Easy Street.

With some practice you will get through a week on Easy Street. The key is to memorize the obstacles. It has been said that Paperboy is a “death avoidance simulator”. That sums it up.

  • Vandal

Win an Xbox Live versus match whilst also obtaining a breakage bonus of 2000 in one day.

You cannot unlock this one by playing medium or hard. It has to be done on easy. That being said, if you are judicious about which papers you deliver you will have plenty of ammunition to break the non-subscribers windows. Once you know the map you should be alright. I did this legitimately against a good player, but you will find that most people can’t get past Tuesday. Get 2,000 points in breaking bonuses then when the versus match. I did this in a ranked match but it is not necessary.

  • Finish a single day in 60 seconds whilst also delivering 5 or more newspapers to someone's door.

Racer Boy is actually very simple. You have to deliver five papers and then get through the stage in 60 seconds. I recommend that you get the first five houses out of the way and then speed like hell through the second half of the map. You don’t have to complete the bonus section. In fact, I just ran into an obstacle once I made it into obstacle course.

You can die and still unlock this achievement but if you die twice- you probably will not make it. I died once and got it done in about 50 seconds.

  • Complete 2 days on Hard Way.

With some practice you should be able to get this one. Make it through two days on hard. Just focus on surviving. Any delivered papers are gravy.
