Introduction:
This is a multiplayer only game. It's a shooter based on the popular Plants vs. Zombies franchise. You need no prior knowledge of the previous games or characters. The achievements are more time consuming than difficult. Sometimes luck is involved and other times a good team will be needed (specifically speaking of Garden Ops). The highest difficulty mode in Garden Ops must be completed at least once and stacks with all other difficulties (crazy, hard, normal). While you can do everything multiplayer pretty much solo, you could have friends play as well online.
Challenges/Misc Achievements:
Focus on the challenges from the beginning. There are 3 challenges at one time for each character and you begin to level up as you complete them. Some are easy, others will take time. As you gain coins, you are able to purchase booster packs that give you variations of your characters, improvements on abilities, and things like "skip challenge" so that you can do just that. Choose one to skip. Any achievement that says "kill x players" requires actual real live players to be the target. Ones that just say "kill x zombies" means they can be done in Garden Ops too or on summoned zombies. As you venture to level 50, you should get most of the achievements.
Garden Ops:
This is good to save for last when you have more character choices/upgrades. Find a good team of 4 people and practice. Packed with tons of potted plant cards, revives, and team retries, you should be ready to go. This mode takes a lot of patience, as it does take a good amount of time to complete all 10 waves and escape. You may even lose escaping, with only mere seconds left to be done.

(Full G&RM Found Here)
Step 1:
Play the Gnome Bomb mode and continue to pick a bomb, disarm 3 bombs, arm 5 bombs, kill 10 enemies carrying bombs, disarm a bomb with 3 seconds remaining and plant two unique plant pots which will unlock 6 achievements.
Step 2:
After completing all the achievements in Step 1, if you haven't already, continue to play the gnome bomb mode until you have won 15 games for "Garden Gnomer."
Step 3:
Now hop into the Garden Ops mode on either the Port Scallywag or Sharkbite Shores map and continue to grind your 500 Zombie Pirate kills for the "Heave Ho" achievement.
Conclusion:
The DLC is overall relatively easy and quick depending on your skill in the gnome bomb mode. The only achievement that may give you trouble is "The Last Second" that requires some luck and patience, while the "Heave Ho" achievement is a bit of a grind. The rest of the achievements will come naturally as you aim for the 15 gnome bomb wins.
Zomboss Down DLC
(Full G&RM Found Here)
Step 1:
While playing as a Plant in either Garden Ops or Gardens & Graveyards go to any empty plant pot in the map and press . Now plant a Doom-Shroom, Bamboo Shoot, Fire Peashooter and an Ice Peashooter to unlock "Legionnaire of Doom."
(This does not need to be done in the same game. You can acquire the plants through Sticker Packs over time).
Step 2:
Play the Gardens & Graveyards mode until you get the ‘Cactus Canyon’ map and choose the Zombie side. Now you need to make it to the fifth and final garden and push the giant Golf Ball Bomb down the entire course and into the hole at the end. All you need to do is walk up to the Golf Bomb to start moving it. Don’t worry about being the person to push the Golf Bomb into the hole, you’ll unlock "Hole In One" even if another teammate is the one to push it in the hole. The achievement will unlock as soon as the last Garden is destroyed.
Conclusion:
Overall this DLC is very easy since it only contains two achievements that you should get relatively quick if you’re lucky enough to get the map you need and plants for the plant pots. If you’re really lucky you could even get this in one game, but again that will require a lot of luck on your part.
Legends of the Lawn DLC
(Full G&RM Found Here)
Step 1:
Jump into the new mode 'Suburbination', which is like Domination in other games. All you need is 20 captures in as many games as it takes you to unlock "Suburbination Domination."
Step 2:
Start playing the 'Vanquish Confirmed' mode, which is like Vanquish but when an enemy is killed they drop an orb that you need to pick up to count for points. Just pick up 50 orbs over the course of as many games as it takes to unlock "Lord of the Orb."
Step 3:
Start playing the new mode 'Taco Bandits' and make sure you're on the Plants side. The zombies will try and grab tacos from Crazy Dave's cart. Simply kill a zombie that is carrying one of the tacos to unlock "No Nacho Taco for You!"
Step 4:
Lastly, you'll end up playing a quick game of 'Gardens & Graveyards' pending you have the required zombies to spawn. Make sure you're on the Zombie side and once the game starts just spawn a 'Backup Dancer', 'Vampire Zombie', and a 'Heal Zombie' to unlock "Backup." This doesn't have to done in one game and can be worked on as you get the zombies to spawn.
Step 5:
The rest of your time will be spent in 'Garden Ops' for all the other achievements. When you start up a game (can be done solo on Easy) quickly plant a Laser Beam to unlock "Laser Eyes." Now keep playing and keep an eye out on bonus rounds (3 & 8) for the chance at a Treasure Yeti to spawn. You'll want to kill the Treasure Yeti before the timer runs out to get "Treasure Hunt." How as you're hitting the Treasure Yeti he'll once and a while drop diamonds, you'll need 7 of these to unlock "Treasure Chest." When the boss rounds show up at round 5 & 10, you'll have to hope for Baron von Bats to spawn and if you're really lucky you'll get 3 Baron von Bats for a Vampire Super wave. Just kill Baron von Bats to unlock "Sunblock" and defeat the super wave to unlock "Graveyard Shift." Every once in a while Baron von Bats will spawn vampires. This can be a grindy one and you might need to try for a while for this one. Just kill 50 of them to unlock "Vampire Hunter."
Conclusion:
Overall this DLC isn't too hard from face value, but if you don't get lucky enough to get the right spawns, then it will turn into a bit of a grind fest to complete.
