-Estimated achievement difficulty: 4/10
-Offline: 11 (Plus 3 DLC)
-Online: 1 - Warlord
-Approximate amount of time to 200: 10 - 12 hours
-Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 1
-Number of missable achievements: None!
-Glitched achievements: None!
-Do cheat codes disable achievements? No Cheats
-Does difficulty affect achievements? No!

While I put the difficulty at 4, the 'Master Craftsman' achievement would stand at about 5/6. I just rounded down because of the ease of the others. There are no missable achievements in this game.

I suggest playing on the 'Normal' difficulty until you get to Sartek and then switching to 'Easy'. This way, you'll fly through the final parts of the game.  You can continue with side quests and other achievements after the story has ended.

After completing story you will have at least 7 out of 12 achievements so that's those out the way!

Warlord Achievement - Very easily obtained, just go here and ask for someone to let you win or contact someone willing to trade.

Legendary Hero Achievement - Check this thread.  Extremely easy to level up in this game, also following the instructions in the thread allows you to get enough gold to fully upgrade your Citadel for the "Master Engineer" achievement so don't worry about spending your gold on items.

Beast Tamer Achievement - I didn't get this until near the end of the game where the puzzles are so much more difficult than at the start so I recommend using this solution guide, even at the start if you're unfamiliar with the concept.

Knowledgeable Hero Achievement - Wait until the end has been and gone, then backtrack all the way to the first area to fight the easiest/weakest for this, should only take 1 or 2 tries, you have to collect the scrolls in the puzzle the same way you would with the skulls, gems etc.

Inspiring Leader Achievement - There is a post containing the location of all companions here.

Master Craftsman Achievement - This is the most annoying task in the game, you have to try and match up 15 anvils to each other (not all at once) by breaking gems to allow the anvils to fall into place. Much like the way to get Spells from enemies. It took me 15+ attempts over 2 days. The runes you'll need to craft are:

Rune of Axes (Base Rune - Weapon)
Location: Blackhoof, Realm of War.

Rune of Poison (Power Rune)
Location: Snake Fang, Down near the trolls/ogres.

Rune of Gods (God Rune)
Location: Valley of Kings, Center of the country.

The best mindset to begin this achievement is "This is just a practice go, I might get it next time!", just so you don't get too disheartened when you fail. But in all seriousness, you might get it first time. It all depends on luck and where the anvils appear/fall.

After reading this, you should have an idea of what you need to do for certain achievements or what you need. All round, pretty simple achievements bar one and you've had the satisfaction of clearing one of the best Arcade games around!

There are 15 achievements with a total of 250 points

  • Defeat 5 opponents

This is pretty simple. Just begin playing the game and successfully defeat 5 opponents during story mode. Very simple.

  • Capture a Mount

Purchase the ability to capture monsters from your citadel. Once you have purchased it, defeat a Giant Rat at least three times. The fourth time you encounter it, you will be able to capture it and use it as a mount, unlocking the achievement. There are other animals you can capture, the Giant Rat is the easiest.

  • Win an Xbox LIVE match

Self explanatory. Use the achievement trading thread to find someone or invite a friend to a player match.

  • Research a Spell

Purchase the Mage Tower. Afterwards, kill a monster three times. Once you've defeated them three times, when you encounter them a forth time, you will be able to capture them. Once captured, return to your citadel and begin the puzzle to research a spell. The object is to obtain the mana/scrolls displayed on the right side of the screen. Scrolls can be destroyed by making a 3 of a kind or higher, or a +5 skull.

  • Defeat Dugog

Just stick to the primary quest and he will be the first boss encounter. Kill him and it's 20 more points.

  • Defeat Mechataur

Same as Dugog. Just stick to the primary quest and you will encounter Mechataur.

  • Rebuild Sartek

Another storyline achievement. Just keep trucking along.

  • Complete your citadel

Collect enough gold to buy all the pieces to your citadel. This should be very easily achieved while playing through story mode.

  • Gain 5 companions

While completing side quests through out the game, you will notice a name in parenthesis sometimes. This means that the quest is for a companion. They all take about the same amount of time so there isn't one to go after over another. There are a total of 9 possible companions. Just get 5 of them in your party at once. Just a heads up, if you do something to piss off a party member, they will leave.

  • Forge a Godlike item

This achievement took me the longest. You need to purchase the ability to forge items through your citadel to start with. Once you've done that you need to collect three runes to forge an item. This is done by going to certain points on the map and selecting "Search for runes." from the menu.
I recommend collecting these runes from these locations since they are close together.
Rune of Jewels - Blood Moon
Rune of Gods - Valley of Kings
Rune of Fire - Free once you buy the forge.
Collect those three runes and attempt to forge an item. It works basically the same way as researching a spell. It takes time and patience since you have to clear 20 anvils to complete the puzzle. The best advice I can give is to make sure you have a possible move somewhere on the board besides where you are working. Since it's not an area you are moving around, you typically don't have to worry about if you are making the last move or not.

  • Reach Level 50

You should be close to level 50 when you are able to fight Lord Bane if you did a decent amount of side quests. Continue questing and fighting til you hit 50.

  • Defeat Lord Bane

Defeat the final boss of the game. I'd highly recommend being 50 and researching spells that allow you to cause the computer to miss turns. Bane is a very simple encounter, however, he gets more and more powerful the longer match continues. Be persistent about not missing 4 of kinds and you should be able to defeat him.
