Quake 4 is a great game that is sure to bring back some good memories if you were a fan of the earlier titles. I’m not going to lie to you. If you are planning on getting the complete 1000

Introduction
Welcome to Quake 4. This game has a total of 50 achievements and requires four separate playthroughs to get the full 1000

Step 1: Preparation
Whether you decide to give General difficulty a stab from the get go or whether you decide to hold off until later, I can’t stress enough that you need to just take your time, make use of your ammo wisely, and you’ll be fine. I would strongly recommend playing the game through in an easier difficulty, so you’ll have somewhat of an idea of where the enemies will be and where you will run into bosses. This will allow you an opportunity to see which weapons are most effective against the multitude of enemies that you will encounter and allow you to map out your strategy when going back through the other difficulties.
Note: The "Top Ten" and "Number One" achievements to get to the top of the leaderboards will take you a long time and consist of getting a dedicated group of boosting partners together. The method for boosting to get these achievements can be found in the Quake 4 guide located below. Tons of gamers have boosted to get these achievements so be prepared to sit in for the long haul and find other dedicated gamers who will join you in your endeavor. The only other achievement that will take you longer will be the "Seasoned Warrior" achievement. This achievement requires you play 5000 online ranked matches. I recommend doing a bunch of Quickie matches where the max kill limit is 5.
Step 2: Play the Game
Simply play through each difficulty progressing through the storyline and you’ll earn the achievements for single player. There are three achievements that you will want to focus on while you progress through the game. Those achievements are: "Galactic Order of Heroism", "Sky Marshall’s Medal of Valor", and "Solar Star of Courage". A description for how and when to get these is listed in the Quake 4 guide as well. Please read them carefully.
As for multiplayer achievements, good luck. In all seriousness, the likelihood of getting the vast majority of the multiplayer achievements is possible - it will just take you a long time. Keep in mind that we are talking about a game that was released when the Xbox 360 first hit shelves, so you’ll be lucky to find many people playing. Be sure to check the forums to see if anyone would be interested in boosting the achievements with you.
Step 3: Mop Up
If there are any achievements that you forgot or missed, just simply go back and reload your saves or start over to get them. Again, for multiplayer matches, it will just take a lot of patience and a good group of willing gamers to help you net all of those achievements.
Conclusion:
That's it! If you've gotten to this point and followed my advice you should have 1000
