Welcome to Race Pro, released in early 2009 by Atari exclusively for the Xbox 360, here comes an exceptional simulation racer known for its ultra realism and authenticity when especially focusing on the cars and their physics. The game features many real cars, real drivers and real tracks famous from all over the globe.

Hotseat - 4 Achievements - 40
First things first, let's get the splitscreen achievements out the way, but they're not technically splitscreen as each player takes turns trying to set the fastest lap on any given race. All you need to do is complete and then win both a Cooperative and a Competitive Hotseat game. So grab a second controller and control yours win.

Time Attack - 2 Achievements - 20
Here you can get both Time Attack achievements in 2 laps. Go into Time Attack mode, choose any car & track of your choice. Now just complete a full lap (unlocking your first achievement) and on your second lap just beat the ghost of your previous time (unlocking your second achievement to beat a ghost). Note, do not cut corners or your time will not be recorded for that lap thus not unlocking the achievements.

Finish 1st in Pro - 13 Achievements - 260
These achievements basically require you to win on each track of the game on the Pro difficulty setting with any car. I will say this now, Pro (Professional) difficulty will not give the non racer/average gamer any problems so don't let the 260 worry you.

This is reasonable because you can set the game to 1 lap and 1 AI driver. In the race, the AI driver will normally follow you closely but unless you crash, they will never pass you and this is providing you make a small effort on the corners and make sure they do not pass you by blocking them. This is because when they do pass you it is likely that you will have some trouble taking your place back. The concept applies to every track, just make sure on the race settings you choose Professional at the race settings.

Contracts/Misc - 15 Achievements - 250
Contracts is the main "Career" mode for this game and where you will spend most of your time on. In Contracts mode, there are several contracts with several races, the amount of races and laps in these races increase as you progress through the mode. Laps range from 3-7 to make the later races longer. You will also be able to get all miscellaneous achievements in the game within Contracts mode such as the Pole position wins, try-outs, stand ins & qualifying.

For the Contracts itself, you need to come in first place in every race in every contact including the Stand-ins in order to gain all the Contract achievements. As soon as a tryout appears, accept it as it will make progressing through the Contracts much quicker as you will be short in credits otherwise.

Championships - 4 Achievements - 140
Note: You must complete all Contracts to unlock all the Championships.

Go into the Championships mode and select the first championship (Mini series.) Set the AI drivers down to 1 and difficulty to Professional and win the championship to earn 3 achievements. You can adjust any other settings to make things easier but make sure the difficulty is set to Pro.

Now, you need to finish (not win) every single Championship in the game. There are 19 of them with 7-11 races in each of them. This will take twice as long ad Contracts (around 25 hours alone) but there is a quicker way to finish all Championships. Simply start up a race and once it has started pause the game and select "End Session". You need to do this for every race, for each car class in every championship. This will save around 90% of the time if you were to fully race them all and the achievement will pop after 2-3 hosts of quitting.

Multiplayer - 12 Achievements - 290
You basically need to host, complete & win 50 ranked matches and then host, complete & win another 50 player matches. This is best done with another friend by trading wins as the Multiplayer for this game is isolated so there should be no problem in boosting. You can find people to boost with in the Achievement Trading Thread.

Thanks for reading.

There are 50 achievements with a total of 1000 points

  • Complete a full lap in Time Attack

Go to 'Time Attack' and choose the track and car of your choice. Complete one full lap. Very simple and easy. You can drive slow, so you can make it easy to get the "Fast Learner" achievement.
  • Beat the ghost car in Time Attack

Go to 'Time Attack' and choose the track and car of your choice. Beat the ghost car that was set previously by you. If you just set a time, then just do another lap and beat the ghost that is now visible - there's no need to quit out and load again.
  • Complete a qualifying session

Go to 'Single Race' and choose the track and car of your choice. When you get to 'Race Settings', scroll down to 'Qualification'. Set this to 'Yes' and then continue to the race. Now, simply complete the qualifying session.
  • Get pole position in novice

The same as "Pole Sitter", but change the difficulty to 'Novice'.
  • Get pole position in semi-pro

The same as "Pole Sitter", but change the difficulty to 'Semi-pro'.
  • Get pole position in professional

Go to 'Single Race' and choose the track and car of your choice. When you get to 'Race Settings', set the difficulty to Professional and scroll down to turn the qualification on. To get 'pole position' you must qualify with the fastest time. As you will be qualifying, you will not be able to see where your opponent is on the track. However, you can pause after each segment of the track and go to 'Drivers / Timing'. This will show you your time recorded for the segments in comparison to the opponents.

On 'Professional' difficulty, you are going to have to do fairly well. There is no braking line, so this will add to the challenge. I chose the 'Curitiba' track as this didn't have very demanding turns and was fairly short.
  • Win a race in novice

Same as "Like a Pro", but change the difficulty to 'Novice'.
  • Win a race in semi-pro

Same as "Like a Pro", but change the difficulty to 'Semi-pro'.
  • Win a race in professional

Go to 'Single Race' and choose the track and car of your choice. I would advise using a track you've been familiar with in other racing titles. When you get to 'Race Settings', adjust the difficulty to 'Professional' and any other aids that will make things easier for you (laps, opponents, etc).

This is much harder with a full pack, so you can have one opponent and beat them to get this easy.
  • Win a race in professional without damaging your car

Avoid touching opponents and making contact with the surroundings. It is easiest to do this with just one opponent (you can change this on 'Race Settings' just after you've made the track and car selection). Having one lap will make things even easier for this achievement.
  • Complete a full championship

Go to 'Championship' and start a new championship. On 'Race Settings', feel free to change some settings to make things easier and of course play on 'Novice' for those not wanting to be challenged.

After this, you will see several events. Complete all of these to get this achievement. Ensure you are in first by the end of the championship to get the "The Champ" achievement too. Having one lap for each race makes thing a lot quicker.
  • Finish 1st in a championship

    See "Championship Contender"
  • Finish 1st in a championship in professional

See "Championship Contender" for information on championships. With this, you'll need to ensure you are on 'Professional' difficulty. Change some settings to make things easier, if you like. This also unlocks "Championship Contender".
  • Finish all championships

You need to complete all the championships available, which will take time if you plan on going through each race, but you'll be rewarded with 50 at the end of it. Some cars will need to be unlocked in 'Career Mode' before you can go through them all.

A quick way of doing this is when you get into the first race, just pause and select 'End Session'. You will not be rewarded any points, nor take the win, but it will count as a finish. Do this for every race in each championship to get the achievement quicker.
  • Complete a tryout

In 'Career Mode', select the a contract and choose to tryout. Beat the time set. This can be done on 'Novice' difficulty.
  • Complete a contract

In 'Career Mode', you will get contracts. You beat the qualifying time to buy them out and then win the races afterward. Winning each race in all the contracts for career will also earn you 'Trophy Collector' and 'Clean Sweep'. These can be done on 'Novice' difficulty and full points can be earned. Winning your first contract with full points will earn you the 'Trophy Owner' achievement.
  • Complete a contract with full points

    See "Contracted"
  • Complete all contracts with full points

Stay in front of the AI car - should be pretty easy to do. After 90 seconds, you will see a message that it will be swapping over and to hit to switch.
