Introduction:
Welcome to Rememoried, a platformer where it feels like you're on some sort of acid trip. The game consists of 19 very short levels, and all achievements are progress-related and can't be missed. There isn't really much of a story to follow, and if there is it's very subtle and confusing. The main concept of the game is "rememorizing" things in the environment: when you look away from an object and then back at it, it'll change position. This happens in a procedurally generated fashion in most levels. Despite this randomness, the game is extremely fast and simple to complete, and only a couple areas can be annoying. Let's get started.
Walkthrough:
As noted in the intro, there are a total of 19 levels in the game, although some are so short and simple that it's tough to classify them as levels. There are 10 achievements and they are all story-related. You'll unlock an achievement at the end of levels 1, 2, 3, 5, 9, 11, 12, 13, 19, and after the ending.
The achievement solutions for each achievement summarize each level involved and how to complete it. Refer to each achievement solution for a basic walkthrough. Unfortunately the achievement list isn't in order, so if you're following the achievement solutions as a walkthrough, here is the order the achievements should be followed in:
- Level 1
- Level 2
- Level 3
- Deja vu
- Illusion
- Level 11
- Level 12
- Level 13
- Infinity
After completing all 19 levels and listening to the ending, you'll have all of the achievements.
Conclusion:
Rememoried is a very strange game. It takes place in an infinite space that can either feel beautiful or terrifying. The gameplay is very straightforward and the achievements even more so. There isn't really any story or much in the way of gameplay, so as much as I hate to say it, this game is really just good for fast and easy gamerscore.
