Introduction:
Developed by Airship Syndicate and featuring the art style of legendary comic book artist Joe Madureira, creators of Battle Chasers and Darksiders, Ruined King: A League of Legends Story is the first Riot Forge game that invites you to explore the League of Legends universe. In this immersive turn-based RPG, you will have the freedom to configure your party and control an unlikely group of League of Legends champions, explore the bustling city of Bilgewater and the mysterious Shadow Isles, and experience the Lane Initiative System.

Step 1: Complete the Story on Heroic
The four difficulty achievements all stack, so start right on Heroic so you only have to do one playthrough. The beginning of the game will be a little rough, but once you get some ability points assigned and a full team, the game gets much easier. I stuck with Braum, Illaoi, and Pyke. Pump as much crit chance and crit damage into Pyke as you can, and stack as many debuffs on enemies as possible. Some turns they can take as much damage in bleed/poison/etc as you might dish out from an attack of your own. Braum  can tank using taunts and adding shields while Illaoi heals and backs up with damage (I love her tentacles for adding extra damage and debuffs). Anything that adds chance to crit, debuffs, regenerate health, or add shields is a good choice for the abilities and runes.

While going through the story, complete any side-quests, bounties, and collectibles you come across. You need all the experience you can get to keep up with enemy levels, so kill everything you can. Also, any time you use a rest point be sure to view any skits that are available. These aren't missable, but it's best to work on them as you go. If you need a walkthrough to help you with the story, any quests, or the collectibles - I found this one to be extremely detailed.

MISSABLE: There is only one missable thing in the game, which is a bestiary entry for Apex Predator (30G). Very early in the game you'll come to a bridge and a Pickpocket enemy will demand 50 Gold to let you pass. Make sure you decline this offer and kill him instead! This is the only Pickpocket in the game, and he must be killed to complete the Bestiary.

Step 2: Post-Game Grind
After completing the story, you can feel free to lower the difficulty if you'd like. There's no reason not to make the rest of the grind easier on yourself. So now is the time to finish up said Bestiary, arena battles, collect the remaining lore, get the legendary weapons if you haven't yet, finish up any bounties, and start fishing to complete the journal.

Step 3: Mop Up
The last thing you should need is to purchase all the alternate skins for your characters, which cost quite a few Black Marks. You should have enough after completing the Fishing Journal, but if not you can continue to fish and sell those to the Fishmonger to make up what you're missing.

Conclusion:
This game is really, really good. If you've played Battle Chasers you will definitely know what you're getting, as it shares the same JoeMad art style and most of the same turn-based mechanics, though the "lane" mechanic was something unique that I enjoyed. Even if you have no interest in League of Legends, this is a must play IMO. However, after playing this and watching Arcane on Netflix, I certainly have a developing fondness for LoL, despite no desire to play the original MOBA. It's a very cool world with excellent characters. The achievements in this a fairly simple, with only a single missable thing very early in the story. Make sure you don't miss that and you're home free.

There are 52 achievements with a total of 1000 points

  • Unlock a Level 3 Ultimate Ability

See Ultramaximus (30G) for more info.
  • Unlock all Champion Ultimate Abilities

The Level 1 and Level 2 ultimate abilities will unlock simply from leveling up your characters. Each character has a quest to obtain the Level 3 ultimate ability. First, complete a side-quest called The Philosopher which is given automatically during the story. This will lead you to the side-quests required for the characters:

Once you have completed all of these side-quests, the achievement will unlock.
  • Acquire 100,000 Gold (cumulative)

As mentioned in the description, this achievement is cumulative and you do not need to have 100k at the same time to unlock the achievement. This will come naturally as you play through the game and finish all the other achievements.
  • Acquire 200 Black Marks (cumulative)

Black Marks are obtained by completing bounties, defeating bosses, and selling fish to the Fishmonger. You will need well over this amount to purchase all the alternate skins for your characters, so this will unlock along the way.
  • Complete a Bounty mission

See Bounty Master (30G) for more info.
  • Complete 5 Bounty missions

See Bounty Master (30G) for more info.
  • Complete all Bounty missions

There are ten bounties in the game to complete for this achievement. Bounties can be obtained from the Bounty Board in Bilgewater Docks Harbor or the Rumor Monger, and the quest can be tracked in the menu to easily find the mark. The bounties, their levels, and locations are as follows:

    1. Malik (7) - Located in the Grey Harbor in Bilgewater.
    2. Griffin the Hextech Thief (9) - Located in the Warrens in Bilgewater.
    3. "Housecrasher" Corvin (10) - Located in the Bilgewater Docks Harbor in Bilgewater.
    4. Razorfin Behemoth (13) - Located at the top of the Well of the Mother Serpent (through the Buhru Grotto) in Bilgewater.
    5. Spider Queen Goth-Rah (14) - Located in the Academy Gardens in the Shadow Isles.
    6. Rogue Captain Floon (18) - Located in the Grey Harbor in Bilgewater.
    7. Veil Jumper (24) - Requires the Ethereal Lens item from an early side-quest. Located through a portal near the Black Mark vendor.
    8. Rhasa the Sunderer (25) - Located at the Graveyard in the Shadow Isles, near the Grove where you meet Maokai.
    9. Commander Ledros (26) - Located at Thresh's Sanctum in the Shadow Isles, right where you fight Thresh. You need to revisit the place after you've beaten Thresh and have the bounty active for Ledros to spawn.
    10. The Hullbreaker (27) - Travel to the Hunting Grounds with the Charming Lady (Miss Fortune's Ship).
Note: Some of these enemies may not spawn unless you have moved the story far enough, even though you have the bounty quest from the board. If the enemy is not present, move the story and return later. The video below has the specific locations, and the method needed to spawn Veil Jumper specifically.
  • Infuse 10 Rare Items

See Infusion Master (20G) for more info.
  • Infuse 10 Epic Items

See Infusion Master (20G) for more info.
  • Infuse 30 Items

Infusion can be accessed from the party menu at any time (it's the third time in the enchanting screen). You will be able to use crafting materials to upgrade the rarity of an item, increasing its stats and sometimes getting a random buff to the item as well. For this achievement, you must increase the rarity of 30 total items. Make sure you increase at least 10 Common (green) items to Rare (blue), and at least 10 items from Rare to Epic (purple) for the other two infusion achievements as well.
  • Enchant your first Item

See Enchanting Master (20G) for more info.
  • Enchant 30 Items

Enchanting can be accessed from the party menu at any time. You will gradually learn new recipes throughout the game, sometimes by interacting with enchanting tables in the dungeons. You can just use the most basic enchantment 30 times to get this achievement, but using more advances ones will help a lot to tackle Heroic difficulty. If you have all the items you need, you will have a 100% chance to succeed and if you have more than needed you can "Overflow" an item to increase its rarity at the same time. If you don't have everything you need, you'll see the % chance of success and can risk it, but a failure will lose you all the items you did have, so it's rarely worth it.
  • Consume 10 Potions

See Tons of Tonic (20G) for more info.
  • Consume 50 Potions

This is quite obvious and will come naturally as you play. Press dpad-up.png on the D-Pad either inside or outside of battle to access your inventory and apply a potion. You'll be doing this often since you do not recover all your health after a battle, and on Heroic it's a very bad idea to go into a new battle at low health.
  • Eat 15 Meals at Rest Points

When you reach a Rest Point, the bonfires that allow you to recover health, you can choose to simply rest or rest and eat a meal. If you have a meal in your inventory (these can be purchased in Bilgewater and most other vendors) you will gain a buff after resting that lasts a few battles. Eat 15 meals in total and fight a battle after the 15th meal to unlock the achievement.
  • Catch 100 Fish

See Fishing Journalist (30G) for more info.
  • Catch 10 Epic Fish

See Fishing Journalist (30G) for more info.
  • Catch every type of fish and complete the Fishing Journal

There are 30 total types of fish in the game to catch for this achievement, and over a dozen fishing spots that you can use to catch them. I'm not sure if every fish is available in every spot, but this guide has a listing of exactly where that writer found each fish, so use that if you're struggling. You'll need to purchase the Mechanical Catching Apparatus rod and Fishmonger's Secret lure from the Black Mark Vendor (you'll need 76 black marks total) to catch the rarest of these fish. If you've caught all the fish in a location and didn't get something you were expecting, don't fret - go to a rest point and return to respawn everything for another chance - it's RNG, baby!

To actually perform the fishing mini-game, cast with button-a.png and then hold that down and push the analog-left.png toward the dock to fight the fish. The outside bar represents the fish's stamina and the inside bar represents your line strength. You need to deplete the outside bar and get the fish to the dock before the inside bar depletes or the fish will get away.
  • Reel in a Treasure cache while fishing

This achievement should happen as you work toward Fishing Journalist (30G). Usually the furthest "fish" in a pond will be a treasure chest, and it will definitely happen before you catch all 30 fish if you're emptying the fishing spots each time.
  • Complete the story on Story Difficulty

See Heroic Ruination (100G) for more info.
  • Complete the story on Normal Difficulty

See Heroic Ruination (100G) for more info.
  • Complete the story on Veteran Difficulty

See Heroic Ruination (100G) for more info.
  • Complete the story on Heroic Difficulty

The difficulty achievements in this game stack and Heroic is available right from the start, so be sure to select it at the beginning and do not change it from the menu after you start. Heroic can be quite tough, especially in the beginning, but once you get a full party and get some of the better healing skills in the game, you should get the hang of things. Enemies can dish out a lot of damage very quickly, so using Braum to taunt and add shields to everyone is very important. Build up Illaoi's tentacles early and then use her to heal, while your damage character takes everyone down. I preferred to use Pyke and specced him for as much crit chance and crit damage as possible, as well as as many opportunities to add debuffs with each attack. This allows you to do a ton of direct damage and then allow the debuffs to do just as much on the enemy turn as well. Also be sure to keep a healthy stock of potions so you don't ever get into a battle at low health, which is almost certainly a death sentence.
  • View every character dialogue when at Rest points

As you move through the story, you will randomly receive the option to watch a scene when using a rest point (sometimes more than one at a time). You don't have to do so immediately, but you may as well. From the rest point menu, you can choose the "have a conversation" option to see which ones you've unlocked as well as which ones you have watched (denoted by a green check mark). The final ones will unlock right before the last few quests, so be sure to go through and watch everything then if you decided to skip anything along the way.
  • Unlock an alternate Skin for any Champion

See Spring Catalog (30G) for more info.
  • Unlock all alternate Skins for all Champions

Alternate skins are available at the Black Mark Vendor for 100 each. You will need to purchase all six of them to unlock this achievement. You should have plenty of marks after grinding for the Fishing Journalist (30G) achievement by selling any Epic fish or fish pieces you've caught to the Fishmonger.
  • Complete 25% of the Bestiary

See Apex Predator (30G) for more info.
  • Hunter

    20

    Complete 50% of the Bestiary

See Apex Predator (30G) for more info.
  • Complete 100% of the Bestiary

    *MISSABLE*

This is the only missable achievement in the game, all thanks to one single enemy that can be skipped early in the story. Be sure to get the Pickpocket entry by refusing to pay 50 Gold to use a bridge. Kill that dude early on and you're home free. You can see this guide for a list of all 155 Bestiary entries, and the locations you can find the enemies. You will need to beat the final boss of the game at least twice to get all the shadow versions of your characters.
  • Complete 50% of Baron's Rest Crucible battles

See Arena King (30G) for more info.
  • Complete all Baron's Rest Crucible battles

The Arena can be found in the Baron's Rest Tavern in Bilgewater. Each fight costs an increasing amount of gold, and each fight obviously also gets tougher as you go up the ladder. None of them have any unique mechanics aside from the final fight, which has a 90% damage mitigation to everything but True damage. You'll want to use Pyke for this battle as his debuffs such as Bleed and Ignite do True damage. As suggested in the Road Map, you should finish the story and get your Heroic achievement, then lower the difficulty down and complete the Arena so you don't have any stress.
  • Reach Level 30 with any Champion

This achievement will come naturally as you finish up all the other achievements.
  • Collect 5 treasures from Poro Holes

Poro Holes can be accessed using Braum's dungeon ability. Make sure he is the on-screen character and interact with the hole once you find it and choose to send a Poro through. They'll bring back some treasure for you. These five locations are in Grey Harbor, Lost Bhuru Temple, Well of the Mother Serpent, Purification Temple, and Vault of the Vesani. See the video below for their exact locations. Note that the one in the Purification Temple will require you to fish up a special item to first lure out the enemy inside the hole so the Poro can successfully grab the treasure.
  • Collect 50% of the Lore entries

See Master Archivist (30G) for more info.
  • Collect all unlockable Lore entries

Lore entries will be found sitting on the ground or on desks/shelves throughout pretty much every map in the game. On the map screen, you can see the total number of lore entries in a location at the bottom right of the screen. In your journal, you can see a list of which ones you're missing and where they are located. Be sure to press in analog-right.png often to send out a pulse which will highlight anything that can be interacted with, including these collectibles. For a written/picture guide of all the lore entries, see HERE. For a video guide, see below.
  • Acquire 1 Legendary Weapon

See Ultimate Arsenal (100G) for more info.
  • Acquire all Legendary Weapons

To begin your quest to obtain the legendary weapons in the game, visit the enchating table at the Drowned Port after completing the Heart of the Isles main quest (Gangplank boss fight). Here you will be given the side-quest The Chain Warden's Workshop. This will lead you back to the Library of Agony, where you can find lore scrolls/recipes for each of the weapons, which lead to the following quests:
Once you complete all six quests to obtain all six weapons, the achievement will unlock.
  • Meet the Rumor Monger

The Rumor Monger is a character in Bilgewater Docks Harbor located just south of the huge bounty board denoted by a question mark icon. You can purchase rumors (aka side-quests) from him, and will visit him often to complete 100% of the game.
