This game is extremely easy with the exception to one achievement, Yatta!. All cheats used in the achievement guide work and don't disable achievements. I have given this game a difficulty of 3/10 because almost all of the achievements can be obtained very easily without prior knowledge of the Genesis games.
Introduction
While none of the actual Genesis Titles have glitches in their games, Blast Processing and the Only in the '80s contain a minor glitch. Both of these achievements say "Play all" of a selected group of games. The description states that you only need to play them all, but you actually need to play them all in one sitting without turning off your Xbox.
Step #1: Playing the Genesis Titles
The first thing you will want to do is complete all of the Genesis title achievements. There are 29 of them and there is no order that you must play them in, but I will split the titles into three groups: Easy, Time Consuming, and Tough, so you can plan out which ones to play first.
Tip #1:
When you see a game at the start screen, some games have an options menu. Go to the options and crank the difficulty down to easy, (or very easy for columns) and set your lives to the max. This will help in games such as Decap attack where you have to actually play into the game long enough.
Tip #2:
Use the save feature effectively!(Press back, then press save game) There is certain games (such as Columns and Dr. Robotnik’s M.B.M) that really get frustrating if you don’t save frequently and effectively.
Tip #3:
Who said cheaters never win? Use as much cheats as you can during this game. It’ll help you most in Comix Zone. If you see that cheats aren’t working for you, make sure you adjust the controls to “Sega” (this is for Vectorman)
Easy: Get Rich, Enter the Beast, Stealing Points, Hardly a Hero, Communication is Key, Getting Chicks, Garden Gnomes, Saved by Magic, Twinkle Twinkle, True Ninja Skills, Complete Chaos, Can You Dig It?.
Time Consuming: Holy Water, Easy as Pie, Get Ahead, Taste Like Tuna, Suit up, Don't Get Lost, Tower Up, TGIF, A Different Tail, Flicky to the Rescue, Three Times a Charm, Super Charged.
Tough: Don't Die, Lots of Zeros, Get to the Chopper, Good Day Mate.
I am creating a paragraph just for Yatta!, because it's one of those mysterious achievements that can either take you five minutes, or literally five hours depending on your luck with the AI. I would recommend going for this achievement last.
Conclusion: Five Remain
Once you've completed the Genesis title achievements, there will only be five achievements left. You will have already played 29 of the 40 games, so play the 11 games you haven't played yet to get Blast Processing. Next, view all the artwork and you will unlock Critique.
At this point you will only need to do a few more things to unlock Master the System, which will allow you to watch every video and unlock No Life, and finally play all of the unlocked arcade titles to grab Only in the '80s.
