  • i can imagine this being a pain in the ass...
  • There's only 4 car dealers selling 28 cars between them, in the whole map. But as you can imagine they are rather pricey. If you wait until you reach Face level 10, you'll get a 40% discount on cars and clothes. Go and purchase the Master Negotiator set of clothes for an additional 15% discount on cars. XD
  • This is a pain, i got to the end of the game all side missions done and not enough money, make sure you don't buy any cars except maybe one per race rank until you can get to face level 10 and the outfit
  • #2 is right don't buy any cars until face level 10 and 15% discount clothing. Do all Tran delivery missions and you'll have more than enough money! So easy...got all the clothes with the left over revenue.
  • 55% discount makes this much easier.
  • An easy way to earn the money is to do all of 'Trans' missions. Go to your contacts list on the phone, phone him and he'll tell which car he wants. Go steal it and drive to his garage. You can earn hundreds of thousands on some of the cars. Just don't damage them as this knocks money off your final reward.
  • This is by far one of the glitchiest and buggy games I've played in my life. Most of the favors and all that lovely horseshit are bugged to the point that I can't complete them (360 version) The gps goes psychotic and I can't tell where I'm supposed to go, and on chase missions where I'm supposed to pick up items, there are no items there to be picked up. :| Piece of crap.
  • #7 you have to be over exaggerating. There are a few parts where GPS messes up (welcome to every fucking sandbox game ever made FUCKING EVER) and a few random glitchs that are far from game killing. Maybe they call for redoing a mission/favor once or twice but they are rare and shouldn't make it that hard. If you really had that many problems you are the most unlucky person in the world when it comes to this game. I am guessing though you are a typical gamer who didn't like this game and instead of just standing by that opinion when others protested you've come up with bullshit reasons to hate it. As for the actual achievement yeah the discount helps. Cockfighting (especially the 200,000 one) can help too but as it's extremely random it can get annoying.
  • what are the cloths that give you a discount. i have found lists online of all the cloths but they don't tell you what they do for you.
  • This is easy wait for lvl 10 face for a 40% discount and wear the clothing for 15% off and do all 30 of trans missions you can get this and the clothing 100% in one playthrough
  • The Kennedy Town Docks (where the most expensive cars are) is right next to the high roller Cock-Fighting ring. Go there, wager the highest amount ($100,000) and save after a win. Reload if you lose, you're only a couple blocks away from your house. It can be a bit of a grind, especially if you have bad luck, but it doesn't take long to save up enough for even the most expensive vehicles, and it helps you get the Gambler stat award, which you need for the Pure Gold achievement.
