Introduction:
A galaxy-spanning adventure awaits in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, a third-person action-adventure title from Respawn Entertainment. An abandoned Padawan must complete his training, develop new powerful Force abilities, and master the art of the lightsaber - all while staying one step ahead of the Empire.
Step 1: Complete the Story
There are no difficulty-related achievements in this game, so feel free to play on Story difficulty if you'd like. However, the combat in this game is very similar to the Dark Souls genre, and is meant to be done on the harder difficulties, so take that into consideration if you feel the game's combat to be boring (at the same time, you feel like a real badass Jedi on the lowest difficulty). That said, your main task will be to work on the story and not worry too much about other achievements. Almost all enemies in the game respawn, and all areas will be available after completing the story. In fact, many areas will be unavailable the first time you play each planet since the game has a mild metroidvania aspect to it as well, with new powers allowing you to reach new areas. There are no missable achievements.
As far as the game's collectibles go, I also wouldn't worry a ton about those since many will be unavailable your first time through an area. However, they are worth a good amount of experience, so grab the ones you do see. I would highly suggest focusing on the Terrarium Seed type collectibles (10 total) and planting those on the ship each time you return, since those grow in real-time. You'll also want to scan every enemy you kill with BD-1 to add those to your collection.
Obviously, it won't hurt to peek at the rest of the achievement list and keep some combat-related things in mind to work on such as parries, dodges, blaster reflections, pushing enemies off cliffs, etc. But with all enemies available to respawn, you can grind these out very quickly post-game.
Step 2: Collectibles
After the story is complete, use THIS GUIDE to get all 256 collectibles in the game. As mentioned above, you will likely have grabbed a decent amount for experience purposes during the story, and should hopefully have all the seeds in the terrarium growing. You should finish unlocking all your force abilities, find all the bounty hunters, and complete the map exploration during this step as well. Keep those combat-related achievements in the back of your mind as well while exploring.
Step 3: Miscellaneous Clean Up
Once the story is complete and every collectible is found, you'll likely have very little left to do. Check your achievement list and reference the guide below to polish off anything left.
Conclusion:
This game is a fantastic blend of Assassin's Creed platforming, Souls-like combat, and metroidvania exploration. It also has a great story set in the Star Wars universe, and very simple achievement list with no missables. The only downside is a ton of collectibles if you're not fond of those. I would highly recommend this game to any fan of the above genres, or even RPG fans as it feels very similar to a Souls game despite a lack of depth in that area outside of the combat.
