Introduction:
A galaxy-spanning adventure awaits in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, a third-person action-adventure title from Respawn Entertainment. An abandoned Padawan must complete his training, develop new powerful Force abilities, and master the art of the lightsaber - all while staying one step ahead of the Empire.

Step 1: Complete the Story
There are no difficulty-related achievements in this game, so feel free to play on Story difficulty if you'd like. However, the combat in this game is very similar to the Dark Souls genre, and is meant to be done on the harder difficulties, so take that into consideration if you feel the game's combat to be boring (at the same time, you feel like a real badass Jedi on the lowest difficulty). That said, your main task will be to work on the story and not worry too much about other achievements. Almost all enemies in the game respawn, and all areas will be available after completing the story. In fact, many areas will be unavailable the first time you play each planet since the game has a mild metroidvania aspect to it as well, with new powers allowing you to reach new areas. There are no missable achievements.

As far as the game's collectibles go, I also wouldn't worry a ton about those since many will be unavailable your first time through an area. However, they are worth a good amount of experience, so grab the ones you do see. I would highly suggest focusing on the Terrarium Seed type collectibles (10 total) and planting those on the ship each time you return, since those grow in real-time. You'll also want to scan every enemy you kill with BD-1 to add those to your collection.

Obviously, it won't hurt to peek at the rest of the achievement list and keep some combat-related things in mind to work on such as parries, dodges, blaster reflections, pushing enemies off cliffs, etc. But with all enemies available to respawn, you can grind these out very quickly post-game.

Step 2: Collectibles
After the story is complete, use THIS GUIDE to get all 256 collectibles in the game. As mentioned above, you will likely have grabbed a decent amount for experience purposes during the story, and should hopefully have all the seeds in the terrarium growing. You should finish unlocking all your force abilities, find all the bounty hunters, and complete the map exploration during this step as well. Keep those combat-related achievements in the back of your mind as well while exploring.

Step 3: Miscellaneous Clean Up
Once the story is complete and every collectible is found, you'll likely have very little left to do. Check your achievement list and reference the guide below to polish off anything left.

Conclusion:
This game is a fantastic blend of Assassin's Creed platforming, Souls-like combat, and metroidvania exploration. It also has a great story set in the Star Wars universe, and very simple achievement list with no missables. The only downside is a ton of collectibles if you're not fond of those. I would highly recommend this game to any fan of the above genres, or even RPG fans as it feels very similar to a Souls game despite a lack of depth in that area outside of the combat.

There are 39 achievements with a total of 1000 points

  • Kick a phillak that has kicked you

Phillaks are a ram-like enemy found on the planet Zeffo. They have a basic charge attack that they use most often, but if you manage to get behind them they will use a two-legged kick that will knock you down. After getting hit by this, you must kick the same enemy in return some time before it dies to unlock the achievement. Hitting it with other attacks first will not void it.

Use dodges/rolls to move behind the enemy and purposefully get kicked, then use your own "Evasive Kick" skill (unlocked in the Lightsaber portion of the skill tree) by pressing then in a very quick succession (you'll use a basic lightsaber attack if there's too much time between the button presses) at some point on the same enemy to unlock the achievement.

  • Collect all chests and secrets

As mentioned in the Road Map, there are a total of 256 collectibles in the game. Getting all of those will include this type of collectible. Use THIS GUIDE to find all of them.

  • Defeat four mysterious creatures

There are four unique monsters to kill in the game, one on each major planet. They are larger versions of generic monsters from the planet, but you'll know them when they show up as they get a large health bar similar to the game's bosses, don't respawn, and will automatically be scanned to your databank when you kill them. These are as follows:

    • Oggdo Bogdo (Bogano – Bogdo Sinkholes)
    • Rabid Jotaz (Zeffo – Broken Wing)
    • Albino Wyyyschokk (Kashyyyk – Imperial Refinery)
    • Nydak Alpha (Dathomir – Strangled Cliffs)

You can also use THIS VIDEO to help pinpoint each location. Once you have killed all four monsters, the achievement will unlock.

  • Unlock all Jedi skills

There are 33 skills to unlock in the game, and this will require a total of 50 skill points. As mentioned in the Road Map, finding all of the game's collectibles and completing the story will get you enough XP to purchase all of them. To purchase skills, use any meditation point to access the skill tree and hold over the skill you wish to purchase.

  • Complete all of BD-1's holomaps

Each planet has a map accessed with where you can see your overall exploration progress, as well as the percentage of each individually-named location on the planet. Once an area/planet is fully explored, the percentage will disappear and you will only see a check mark. If you see a section you have not completed, look to see if there are yellow lines on the holomap which indicate an area you have not explored; if not, it's likely you just haven't actually set foot in some portion of a large open area (the swamp on Dathomir is very large for instance). You should get this naturally as you work on the collectibles, but I missed two small spots on Dathomir and had to return to clean those up, so it's not a guarantee. Fill in every section of all five planets to unlock the achievement.

  • Defeat 50 enemies with reflected blaster bolts

To reflect a blaster bolt from an enemy, press right before the bolt would hit Cal. Depending on the difficulty you are playing on, the game will give you more or less leniency. It will also take more or less bolts to kill enemies. If you don't have this by the end of the game, you can lower your difficulty and continually respawn a group of blaster enemies to finish this up.

  • Parry 100 enemies

Parries are accomplished in the same method as reflecting blaster bolts (by pressing ) but instead right before a melee attack would hit Cal. Again, you'll have more or less leniency in the timing of this depending on the difficulty. However, this achievement is much easier as you can farm it off a single baton enemy by blocking over and over without killing him. That said, it should come naturally as you play the story since blocking/parrying is very important to the game's combat.

  • Defeat an enemy using only kicks

For this achievement, you will need to purchase the "Evasive Kick" skill. To use this, quickly press then in a very quick succession (you'll use a basic lightsaber attack if there is too much time between the two) and you'll perform a kick. Do this against a blaster enemy as they have the least amount of health. On the lowest difficulty, it should only take two kicks.

  • Defeat 3 enemies using a single lightsaber throw

You will need the "Lightsaber Throw" skill for this achievement, which can't be purchased until after the second tomb. Once you have it, you'll want to find either three basic blaster enemies, or three bug/spider enemies as these are the weakest. It helps to target the enemy furthest from you by clicking in and then hold and press to throw the lightsaber when you have all the enemies lined up. Since you're targeting the furthest enemy, it will travel to them and hit the others on the way. If the enemies are moving too much and you need help lining them up, you can use the "Empowered Slow" ability to freeze the entire group, then you can line up your shot much easier.

  • Defeat an enemy with their own Slowed blaster bolt

For this achievement, you will need the "Force Pull" ability which is unlocked through the story. Once you have it, find a blaster enemy and use to slow them right after they fire so it slows them AND the bolt they fired. Then pull the enemy with to drag the enemy toward you and directly into the bolt which should kill them. If they still have health left, repeat the process a second time.

  • Defeat 20 enemies with explosives

For this achievement, you must use enemy rockets or grenades against them. The easiest method is against rocket troopers. When they go to fire their weapon, you'll see a small yellow flash as it exits the tube, this is when you'll want to press to shove it back at them. Do this any time you see one to knock it out over time, or simply use the group of three at the top of the zipline from one of the meditation points on Kashyyyk.

You could also use the same method as we did for killing a trooper with his own blaster, and slow the rocket then pull the enemy into said rocket for a clean kill. Either method will do the trick.

  • Defeat an enemy with a hacked droid

After getting the upgrade for BD-1 to hack enemy droids, you'll immediately face a group of enemies with a security droid. Damage the droid until a prompt comes on screen, then hit to send BD-1 in to hack it. It will now be on your side and attack the other troopers. This is very handy as the game goes on, so you'll likely do it many times.

  • Precision Evade 100 attacks

The "Precision Evade" skill is one of the last few you'll be able to purchase later in the game. Once you do have it, it takes effect automatically with perfectly-timed evasions (your basic dodge). You'll know it worked if there is a Matrix-like slow effect. This is another achievement you can easily farm against a single baton enemy, just stand still and dodge over and over. Similar to other timing-based achievements, you'll have more or less leniency depending on the difficulty you're playing on.

  • Send 25 enemies over the edge

Once you have obtained the "Force Push" ability as part of the story, you'll be able to get this quickly. Simply press any time you are fighting from a large height to send someone to your death. If the drop isn't long enough, it's possible they could survive, but you can check to see if your xp bar raises to see if you get credit for the kill. Later on you'll be able to upgrade your push to affect entire groups of enemies, but you'll probably have this achievement long before then.

  • Defeat 25 enemies while they are under the effect of Empowered Slow

The skill "Empowered Slow" can be purchased after the first tomb, and requires holding for a few seconds to slow an enemy for an extended period of time. You'll know you succeeded if Cal pulls his arm back to finish the animation. If you get hit and it gets interrupted, it won't count and you'll lose the force you exerted to begin it. Once you fully freeze an enemy, get in close and normally this will be a one-hit kill with a normal attack, though you can use a strong attack to be safe if you'd like.

  • Defeat an enemy by colliding them with another enemy

You can get this achievement fairly easily against normal blaster enemies with either Force Push () or Force Pull () and collide two enemies, though I found it even simpler to use both abilities combined. Use pull to "pick up" an enemy and then you can move around and aim them as you see fit. Launch them away with push to throw them into another enemy. You might need to repeat a few times depending on the health of the enemy/difficulty you're playing on.

  • Slice an oggdo's tongue

This achievement requires the "Grasping Pull" ability which intensifies your basic pull. When fighting an oggdo enemy (the big frogs), you will want to hold to pull on the enemy. This will yank its tongue out of its mouth, and then a simple attack will slice it off.

  • Find all of BD-1's stim canisters

    See "Collector" for more info.

  • Have a fully grown terrarium

For this achievement, you will need to collect all 10 Terrarium Seed collectibles (see "Collector" for more info on their locations), and plant them in the Mantis. There is a long glass case that you can interact with on the ship, and any time you return after having obtained one of the seeds, a new hole will form in the terrarium. These plants grow in real-time, so it's a good idea to focus on these collectibles during the story even if you plan to get most things after the story is done. Once all ten seeds are planted, keep playing and finish the story and get all the collectibles, then inspect the terrarium again. If all the plants have fully matured, the achievement will unlock. If not, you can leave your game running and check back from time to time until it does.

  • Recruit all possible crew members for the Mantis

Four of the five crew members in the game are story-related and can not be missed. The final member can be found directly below your ship when you land on Bogano after you learn the "Force Push" ability during the story. Return to Bogano, use the spiral ramp to go underneath the ship, and push against the vent in the wall. Here you'll find a cute little Bogling who will hide out on the ship (which leads to some funny dialogue with Greez).

  • Find all of BD-1's encrypted logs

    See "Collector" for more info.

  • Fully customize your lightsaber

If you bought a deluxe edition of the game, you can unlock this as soon as you board the Mantis. Use the workbench at the back of the ship to customize your lightsaber, and change all five categories to something different. If you have the basic version, you will earn new customization options for your lightsaber from various chests, so you can get this eventually as you work on all the collectibles.

  • Customize the look of Cal, BD-1, and the Mantis

Similar to customizing your lightsaber, you will be able to change the appearance of Cal's outfit, and the paint on BD-1 and the Mantis. This customization can be done at any time in the pause menu ().

  • Scan all enemy types

After defeating any basic enemy type or bounty hunter for the first time, make sure you get close to the corpse and you should see a prompt () that will allow BD-1 to scan it and add it to your database. Bosses and Legendary Beasts will be added automatically once you defeat them. See "Collector" for more info on the locations of every enemy in the game.

  • Discover 75 Force Echoes

    See "Collector" for more info.

  • Hit a single enemy with all lightsaber types

You will as part of the story unlock two variants for your lightsaber, a double-bladed variant and then finally a variant that comes apart in the middle to dual-wield two separate lightsabers. For this achievement, you will need to hit a single enemy with all three variants. You can switch between single- and double-bladed at any time with and and attack individually that way, or purchase the "Switch Attack" skill and simply hold to perform a combo that will use both of those types automatically for you. Once you have landed with those two, hold and hit to perform a very powerful dual-wield attack. You should be able to get this one any larger creature or security droids.

  • Defeat each type of Bounty Hunter

There are three total bounty hunter enemy types to kill in the game. During the story you will be put in an arena battle, and the final enemy is your first bounty hunter. After this point in the story, you can find new bounty hunters to kill at several fixed points on the various planets. Which type of hunter spawns is random, so you may get the same one multiple times before killing all three types. You need to kill a Haxion Brood Bounty Hunter, Haxion Brood Commando, and Haxion Brood Bounty Droid for the achievement. See HERE for a list of possible spawn locations.
