Introduction:
Super Toy Cars is a Micro Machines clone. The game is beginner friendly and a quick and easy completion. Some cars are hard to control and the mine races are hard because of the random luck factor. But it is an overall easy game. Even for people that don't like racing games.
Abbreviated Walkthrough:
We are going to jump right into career mode where we will spent the vast majority of the time and unlock almost all of the achievements. There are a total of 48 events and each event gives you 10 stars if you win it. There are a total of 480 stars to collect.
I used only two cars to finish the game. My first car was the Scoiattolo Veloce. I used it for almost all events including the last race. I used the Schneider Panther as my second car for the events that I couldn't win with the first car. Upgrade the cars with your spare money. These two cars rely heavily on drifting. The Veloce drifts every corner, the Panther 90% of the corners. This fills your boost meter very fast. Use boost all the time to gain and protect your lead.
Multiplayer:
There is only one multiplayer achievement and it's local. Select quick race from the menu, choose any track and press to join with a second controller. The achievement unlocks at the start of the race. You don't even have to finish the race.
Mop-Up:
Depending on which cars you used you might have unlocked one or more car specific achievements. Replay the last race of the last group if you need money and do it with the cars you need km or time spent on. You get 50,000 coins in just over two minutes if you win. Get the rest of the achievements during quick races after buying all cars and upgrades. 30 minutes racing time can be done in time trial mode. Wait before the finish line and finish the race after 30 minutes have passed. Do quick races for the 50 km achievements. The track doesn't matter because they are all simple and almost similar long.
Conclusion:
Without the mine races the difficulty would be 2/10. They are more or less luck based because a stupid placed mine can be the deciding factor whether you lose or win the race. On top of that you will often get stuck in the environment and be teleported from the front to the back of the pack and will most likely have to restart the race. But that's not a problem because most races are just above two minutes long.
