Tekken 6 is the latest installment of Namco Bandai's Tekken series. This game has the total of 50 achievements with the grand total of 1000 :gs:. If you're a common casual gamer then you might want to play practice mode for a bit before you can play the game. Tekken is not your ordinary fighting game. There are no "hadoken" or "shoryuken" in this game where you have to learn their combo.
Step 1: Character/Practice
Before you can start this game you have to find a character you like and find their combo's easy to do. Don't just pick a character that you think looks cool. Now after you pick your character, go to training mode and just train there until you feel good with the character you picked because once you pick your character for scenario campaign, there is no going back. Well you can, but the items you get won't be transferable.
Step 2: Scenario Campaign
Scenario Campaign is where you are going to get most of your achievements. Focus on beating the campaign first, remember no achievement is missable due to the fact that you can replay levels. After you complete the campaign, there are 3 hidden stages on the map that are playable. See Scenario Expert to find out how to unlock them.
Step 2.5: Scenario Campaign /Hidden Stage
The first tip is to make sure that you play on medium, not hard. Both Subterranean Pavilion and Kigan Island are somewhat easy. On Subterranean Pavilion, you fight Yoshimitsu and on Kigan Island you fight Mokujin. Both of these stages are "somewhat easy" due to the fact that when you get to the boss fights, you can continue the boss fight even if you die, but not only that, you also regain full HP.
Now for the Nightmare Train. This stage can be a challenge but can also be easy if you save the Gatling gun. Fighting the gargoyle's can be tough but if you can kill them fast with combos, then getting to Devil Jin will be a walk in the park. When you get to Devil Jin, you want to grab the Gatling gun and shoot Devil Jin right off the train. Yes, its possible and you must shoot him from a angle that will knock him off the train.
Step 3: Clean Up Campaign
By now you should finish everything in the campaign and if you're missing Enemy Hunting Master, Treasure Master, Alien Hunter, Crate Breaker,or Thirsty Fighter, you can replay the levels and get them all. Also, for the No Key for Me achievement, at the beginning of Millennium Tower, you'll have the option to use NANCY, don't do it and then complete the stage to unlock it.
Step 4 : Offline Mode
Just beat arcade mode with anyone. To make it even faster, set the game on easy and on 1 round. Team battle is easy; simply beat 3 different teams in team Battle. Ghost Battles are CPUs that have weird names and win/loss records. They can be fought against in single player modes, but not in Scenario Campaign Mode. You just have to beat 30 of them. Next you have Survival mode. By now you should be good at this game and get 10 wins easy.
Finally you have Nancy. Nancy is not hard at all as long as you know how to side step. First, set your game to 1 win and on easy. Now have a Second controller ready just in case you're about to die. The Character I used was Paul Phoenix. Use his ,,+ to use his overrated charge punch. At the start of the fight with Nancy, move in close to the robot and then sidestep about 3 times and then use his punch. Then repeat this process.
Step 5 : Xbox Live
Prepare for a ride because the Tekken online is very laggy. All you have to do now is win 1 Ranked match and play 30 player matches. Win or lose, just play 30. You just have to win at least 1 player match.
Tekken has always been an amazing fighting game and still lives up that reputation today with Tekken 6. The achievements are not hard at all for Tekken Veterans but can be a bit troublesome at some point for new players. Troublesome, but not at all impossible.
