Introduction:
The Gunk is a relatively short action adventure experience. You explore a mysterious alien planet in search of energy and uncover an even more mysterious history. During your adventure, you will meet new characters, some friendly and some not, collect resources, solve environment puzzles, and upgrade your abilities. A search for energy brought you here, but the search for the Gardener will keep you here!

Abbreviated Walkthrough:
The Gunk consists of 8 chapters, connected by a semi open world, withs ome linear paths. You'll need to search most areas for materials to upgrade your abilities (All In (50G)) and scannable objects to add to your encyclopedia (Space Archaeologists (50G)). Along the way, you will find opposition in the gunk monsters and the gunk itself. There are a number of combat related achievements; for using certain abilities (Three's a Crowd (25G)) or getting gunk beasts to run into each other (Take Charge (50G)). The rest of the achievements will unlock as you progress through the story.

Mop-Up:
If you are thorough enough, you will complete the game with all achievements earned; however, it is ciompletely possible that you still need to scan objects for Space Archaeologists (50G). Luckily, the game's final autosave is just before the final boss fight. And you can leave the area and search the entire map for any scannable objects you missed.

Conclusion:
Aside from the Space Archaeologists (50G) achievement, this game is a nice leisurely action adventure game. The game is not particularly challenging and should only last a few hours for completionists. This is an easy and enjoy 1000gs.png to add to your collection!

    Craft all upgrades

There are 16 upgrades to craft in the game; however, they are not available immediately. The Organic, Metal, and Fiber materials can be found in various plants in the environment. Throughout the game, make sure to search every nook and cranny to find hidden materials and loot caves. The game offers a surplus of these materials, so you don't need to entirely scoure the map, but you will still need to be persceptive as you progress through each area. • Throw one on another

Gunk Critters are the most basic enemy type you will face throughout the game. They are also the only enemies that you can grab and throw. So, all you need to do is grab a gunk critter and throw it into another enemy (preferably another gunk critter) to kill both of them on impact.

See the video below for more information.
  • Sneak up and clog

You will first encounter gunk spitters in Chapter 5 and throughout the rest of the game. They are enemies that are rooted to the ground and shoot projectiles at you. An easy way to get this achievement is to catch a gunk spitter projectile and throw it back at them. This will stun it and allow you to run behind it. Hang out for a little bit making sure that when it is no longer stunned it has no idea you are there. Then grab it and kill it.

See the video below for more information.
  • Make one charge off a cliff

Gunk critters attack by jumping at you. A small red circle will appear as an indicator around a gunk critter as it prepares to jump. You will fight gunk critters all over the game, including on cliffs, near water, and on elevators. All you need to do is position yourself near the edge of an area and wait for a gunk critter to jump at you. Get out of the way and let it fall to its death.
  • Make one charge into another

The easiest location to earn this is in Chapter 7. You will need to cleanse energy pools and the third one in this area will count as a checkpoint. Moving forward up the hill will spawn in three gunk beasts. These large enemies will charge at you if the see you. The idea here is to aggro all three of them at the same time, so that they all charge you. You will most likely get hit, but one of the other gunk beasts should run into the one that hit you if it is timed right. You can also use your Power Pulse upgrade to stun the gunk beast in place and then line up another to charge into it.

See the video below for more information.
  • Blast three to smithereens

You will need to unlock the Power Pulse upgrade for your pulse cannon. This upgrade isn't unlockable until you have scanned ~50 scannable objects (See Space Archaeologists (50G)) for the encyclopedia. Once unlocked, find a group of three enemies (preferably gunk critters) and kill them in quick succession. You don't need to kill all three of them with one shot.

See the video below for more information.
