Introduction:
The Inner World: The Last Wind Monk is the sequel to The Inner World and plays identically. It's a point and click adventure game that sees you using items in weird and wacky ways to progress the story. This time, you're in search of the last wind monk to take up the throne of Asposia. If you played the first game, this one is just as easy and quick to complete.
Abbreviated Walkthrough:
The main thing to be aware of is that you must not use the hint system for the entire game. Avoid pressing at all, but if you do accidentally press it, don't press
to use a hint. You must complete the game without using any hints. The other overarching achievement to be aware of is that you must talk to every person in the game. Keep both of these in mind while you play, especially if you aren't using a video guide.
I highly recommend either following the video guide in "Chapter 6 - Wind of Change" to make sure you do everything along the way. At the very least, keep the "Blabbermouth" achievement solution handy, and make sure to check the guide for missable achievements at the start of each chapter.
If you talk to everyone along the way, don't use any hints, and make sure to obtain all of the one-off miscellaneous achievements along the way, upon completing the game you should have 999.
Mop-Up:
After completing the game, you should still have one achievement left for using the hint system. Start up a new game, press and then mash
to use all available hints. Perform the action suggested by the last hint. Repeat a couple more times to unlock your last achievement and wrap up this completion.
Conclusion:
The Last Wind Monk is much of the same as the first game in the series. The gameplay, the story, and the people don't bring much new to the table. In fact, there isn't much setting this one apart from the first. Due to the massive price point on this game I highly recommend waiting for a sale unless you're desperate for gamerscore or really enjoy any type of point and click game out there.
