Introduction:
The Path of Motus is a side scrolling action platformer that follows Motus from childhood to adulthood as he attempts to avoid bullying and negative people in his life that try to use words to hurt him. It's an extremely casual game that can be completed in around 20-30 minutes without a guide. To unlock all of the achievements you'll need two playthroughs, but the second will be very fast since you'll know how to get past every section. This results in a total completion time of around an hour.

Abbreviated Walkthrough:
For your first playthrough, just focus on completing the game and exploring each location to collect all notes. No locations or notes are hidden. As you progress, you'll see obvious doorways in the background to enter. Inside, you'll find one or two notes and a bridge or door to complete. The only one you may not notice is the treehouse in the first chapter, so just make sure to take the high platforms and keep a look out for the large treehouse towards the end of chapter one.

Upon completing your first playthrough, you should have explored each location. You'll also unlock the "Goblin" achievement when you complete the game. When you get to the credits scene, you'll find your final notes. You'll also come to a desk you can press to unlock all doors and bridges, which you'll need to complete on your second playthrough.

For your second playthrough, you need to complete each section of the game without anyone dying. Each section will give you a little gold award if you "take the high road" and don't kill anyone with your words. Along the way, revisit all of the doorways you explored and complete the doors and bridges again. Completing the game again will unlock your 100% achievement.

If you're missing any miscellaneous achievements at this point, you can pause and use the Travel option to jump to various points in each chapter, making it very quick and easy to mop up anything you may need.

Conclusion:
The Path of Motus is a fun little action platformer, but only for about 15-20 minutes, which is good since that's about how long it'll take you to complete the game. The puzzles are very simple and can be completed with some quick trial and error, worst case. The achievements are all very easy to obtain and won't take much work at all.

  • Complete chapter three.

There are a total of three chapters in the game and they are all very straightforward and simple to complete. Chapter three throws in some fake platforms and a couple other tricks, but even with a little trial and error you can complete the game without a guide in around half an hour.

If you get stuck at all or prefer to follow a guide, the video walkthrough in the "100% Completion" achievement solution shows two full playthroughs to get you every achievement.

  • Explore the Cave.

In chapter one you'll come across a big obvious cave in the background that you can enter. Go inside, solve the thought door, and collect the obvious notes inside. Upon collecting each of the notes inside, this achievement will unlock. The cave is pictured below, and the video in the "100% Completion" achievement solution shows solutions for all thought doors and bridges.

  • Explore the Tree House.

Towards the end of chapter one you'll come across a treehouse that you can enter by climbing a ladder in the background. Go inside, solve the thought door, and collect the notes inside to unlock this achievement. The treehouse is pictured below since it isn't as obvious right away, and the video in the "100% Completion" achievement solution shows solutions for all thought doors and bridges.

  • Explore Camena's House.

In chapter three you'll come to an obvious house in the background and will be able to see Camena in the window. Head inside, solve the thought door, and then head right to pick up the note and unlock this achievement. The house is pictured below, and the video in the "100% Completion" achievement solution shows solutions for all thought doors and bridges.

  • Explore the Cave as an adult.

Shortly after Camena's house in chapter three, you'll come to a cave which is apparently the same cave from chapter one. Once again, enter it, solve the thought door, and collect the notes to unlock the achievement. The cave is pictured below, and the video in the "100% Completion" achievement solution shows solutions for all thought doors and bridges.

  • Talk to your feline friend.

This achievement takes place in chapter 1 towards the end. As you walk underneath the tree house, you'll come across a cat on the ground. Interact with the cat to talk to it and unlock this achievement.

If you miss this on your first playthrough, you can pause the game and go to the Travel menu, then go to chapter 1 and select Treehouse to travel there. Drop down to the ground level and head right and you'll see the cat.

  • Give up on your dreams.

At the end of chapter 2 you'll pass over a group of 5 enemies inside a sectioned off area that you'll cross over top of. Once on the other side and you start walking right, a guy will come out of a door and try to convince you to come with him instead of proceeding right. To unlock this achievement, follow him left into the door. You'll be stuck in a room with three guys and this achievement will unlock. Eventually the screen will fade to black and you'll be back in chapter 2 before you made that decision.

  • Take the Path of Motus.

To unlock this achievement, you must complete the game after having completed each section without killing any enemies. When you complete a section without killing anyone, you'll see a gold medallion show up and get implanted in the background of that area, so you can tell if you've completed the area without killing anyone.

You won't be able to do this until your second playthrough, because at the end of the first playthrough you'll learn a jumping trick that'll allow you to progress past earlier areas without killing enemies. If you do accidentally kill someone, press and hold to reset the area and try again.

Most of the game is pretty straightforward as far as getting through the areas without killing anyone. If you get stuck at all or prefer to use a guide, the "100% Completion" achievement solution contains a video guide showing all sections being completed without killing anyone.

Once you get to the end of the game on the beach, the statue just after the house should be complete and unbroken. Head right and when you get to the credits room, this achievement will unlock.

  • Collect every note.

There are a total of 22 notes in the game and they are all very obvious, not hidden at all. They are all inside doorways you enter into the background. You'll clearly pass these doorways as you progress, so as long as you enter them all, collect the notes inside, and then complete the bridges and doors inside these locations, you'll easily find them all. Note that the final three notes are after you complete the game during the credits area.

The "100% Completion" achievement solution has a video showing all notes.

  • Complete every bridge and thought door.

This achievement requires two playthroughs. Your first playthrough will have you completing all of the bridges to proceed through the game, of which there aren't very many, and you will also pass doorways into the background along the way. Inside these areas are typically thought doors that you'll need to solve to open up more of these areas.

At the end of your first playthrough, during the credits area you'll pass a desk. Press on this desk to activate more thought doors. Now you will start back at the beginning of chapter one and can play through the game again. Reenter the doorways in the background. Not all of them have new thought doors, but some do. You'll have to solve all of the new thought doors and then complete the game again. This achievement will unlock when you reach the credits area at the end of your second playthrough.

The "100% Completion" achievement solution has a video showing the solutions for all bridges and thought doors in case you want to use it for reference.

  • Collect all items and discover every location.

The only items you need to collect are the notes, and if you collect all the notes and solve all the thought doors (on your second playthrough) you'll unlock this achievement. There's nothing hidden, you just have to enter each doorway in the background.

The video below is courtesy of user Baddriver and shows both playthroughs, including all notes and solutions for all bridges and thought doors. Refer to the video as needed. If you stay alert you will easily notice all of the places to enter, but if you don't want to worry about it you can follow the video guide.
