Introduction:
Welcome to The World II: Hunting Boss, where you will kill bosses and that's basically it. You level automatically and there are no skill trees; this is bare to the bones. All boss fights are selected off a menu and there is no adventuring to be had...unless you count your eyes rolling to the back of your head. This game won't challenge you much at all and doesn't take much time to complete. That makes it the perfect game to pad your completed games count, gamerscore, and completion percentage.

Walkthrough:
For the simplest completion path, this roadmap will lay out some suggestions on when to do things. First of all, just go ahead and lose to the first boss ten times to Unlock "Heroes Never Yield." Then your next objective is to complete "Hunting Ace" as it becomes next to impossible once you get the AI companions. You will have also unlocked "The Rise of the Apes" for clearing the first mission.

Clear the remaining four D Rank missions to unlock "King of the World," "Sparkling Eyes," "Fresh Meat," "Hero," "New Talent," and "What a Collection."

Now before you head onto C Rank missions, you should grind your character up to Level 15. Be sure NOT to max them out to Level 20 since you still have to clear a decent amount of missions. Just repeat the final D Rank mission over and over til your desired level. Doing this will earn "Be Known," "Braving Winds and Waves," "Rogue Knight," "Excel the Predecessors," "The Blacksmith Lolita," "Violet," and "Fame Spreads."

Now that you're all leveled up, you can move on and smash through all the C Rank missions. After you complete the first ten missions you will be moved up to B Rank, but first, go ahead back down to C Rank and finish the last two missions. By the time you have done that you will unlock "Master," "Attack Damage Carry," and "Stop the Train."

Move forward to the two B rank missions and then replay Mission 2 eight times to unlock "The Brave." It's suggested to repeat this mission since it's easier than the first. If you haven't reached Level 20 with all characters by now, then go ahead and finish grinding it out on the final D Rank mission, "Steel Nightmare." "Make an Impression" and the "Legend of Hunter King" will unlock back to back once you hit Level 20.

Conclusion:
This game isn't difficult or time consuming; rather, it's just boring. Fortunately, it shouldn't pose much trouble and will pad up your gamertag stats nicely.

  • Dorrit reaches Lv 10

  • Sean reaches Lv 10

Refer to "Make an Impression" for information on how to obtain this achievement.

  • Own 3 Heroes

This achievement will unlock upon clearing all the D rank missions in the game.

  • Complete 5 D-Grade missions

You have to clear all the D rank missions anyways for a few other achievements in the game, so this will come a long the way.

  • Master

    50

    Complete 12 C-Grade missions

Go ahead and clear all the C rank missions in the game, since you need to anyways to get all the boss kill-related achievements.

  • Complete 10 B-Grade missions

You will get access to B Rank missions after clearing all D Rank missions and ten tot welve C Rank missions. I suggest getting to the second mission and replaying that over and over instead of trying to clear the missions. I found the second mission easier than the first one so give that a shot.

  • Finish missions and get 5 A-ratings

This should be done on the first mission before finishing the D Rank missions, since the AI companions will make this really difficult. If you get the companions first, then go ahead and finish everything else first. Afterwards, delete your save file and do it with another character.

This is technically harder than getting an S rank since you have a very little window of time to score an A rank and B or S rank. You need to finish between 1:30 and 2:00 left on the clock. In my personal experience, it's best to aim to finish at around 1:45-1:50 for optimal results. I had a few runs that didn't count since I was too close to 2:00 or to 1:30.

  • Hero

    60

Finish missions and get 5 S-ratings

Getting S Ranks is actually very common and easy to accomplish. You will most likely get this before finishing the D Rank missions. If not, you will earn this achievement while grinding out your levels to 20.

  • All heroes reach Lv 5

Refer below to "Make an Impression" for information on how to obtain this achievement.

  • All heroes reach Lv 10

Refer below to "Make an Impression" for information on how to obtain this achievement.

  • All heroes reach Lv 15

Refer below to "Make an Impression" for information on how to obtain this achievement.

  • All heroes reach Lv 20

There are only 3 heroes in the game and you will get the remaining 2 you don't start with when you clear the 5 D Rank mission. They automatically tag along for every mission so you're working on all 3 at once at all times. Once you unlock them just repeat the final D Rank mission, "Steel Nightmare," over and over again. It has the best complete-time to exp-earned ratio in the game. This should be done before moving through C Rank so that you don't have to mess with the Menu as much and you will also be a lot stronger for the C Rank missions.

Repeat "Steel Nightmare" until your heroes are all level 15 and then you should reach level 20 by clearing 12 C Rank missions and 10 B rank missions. If not, you can go back to "Steel Nightmare" at anytime to polish off this achievement.

  • Complete mission 10x

Complete any 10 missions for this achievement. Repeat mission playthroughs do count but you will have to play through more than 10 missions to do everything else so this will come naturally along the way.

  • Fail mission 10x

This should be done before completing the D Rank missions, as after you complete those you will get 2 AI partners that are decent at fighting. Therefore, just repeat the first mission a totaly of ten times by not moving or attacking. The boss will eventually kill you, allowing you to restart and repeat the procees nine more times.

  • Completion of all achievement

This will unlock alongside the second to last achievement you earn in the game.
