This game is a very easy (and fun) 200. There is only one achievement ("Bluff") that is kind of difficult because it relies on you getting the right cards and hoping the computer doesn’t mess it up for you.
Introduction:
UNO has 12 achievements totaling 200 and requires 40 playthroughs to get all of them. That number sounds daunting yes, but the games go fairly fast by themselves, and you can modify the settings so that they can go even faster. Don’t fret.
Step 1: The first and longest game
In your first game you will be knocking out "Bluff" and "Quick Change Artist". Start a single player game, choose House Rules UNO. Set the game to Traditional Scoring up to 5000 with standard penalties, “Draw Until Play”, forced play off, bluffing on, and call UNO on. The game score is set to 5000 so that you’ll get Bluff before the computer players have a chance to win the game and force you to start over.
Tips:
*Bluff whenever you can, unless you have a large hand which will make it obvious to the computer that you’re bluffing.
*If you want, keep restarting the game until you start with at least one Draw Four card.
*If you ever have two of them in your hand at once, don’t use them consecutively; the computer will probably call you on the second.
*On your turn, draw a few cards. Don’t draw until you get one of these because the computer will definitely call you on your bluff whether you use it that turn or not.
*If you draw a Draw Four within in a few cards, play another card anyways so that the computer thinks the one you played is the one you last picked up allowing you to bluff next turn.
*Whenever you’re playing another card, try and make it a Reverse, Skip, or Draw Two card to contribute to "Skip to My Lou", "Twister", and "High Noon".
Continue to play once you’ve unlocked "Bluff". You have the ability to draw until the deck is empty, so if you need to, pick up a card that will allow you to change the color. Aim for Wild cards to contribute to "Wild Thing". Change the color five times to unlock "Quick Change Artist". Once that is unlocked, quit the game.
By the end of Step 1, you will have unlocked "Bluff" and "Quick Change Artist" as well as contributed to "Skip to My Lou", "Twister", "Wild Thing", and "High Noon".
Step 2: One short game
Here you’re going for "UNO!", "Ace!", and you may possibly get "Wild Abandon" as well. Once again, choose House Rules UNO. Turn scoring off, change penalties to progressive, bluffing off, forced play off, and call UNO on. Play the game normally. If a computer plays a Draw Two or Four card, you have a chance to transfer the damage to another player thanks to Progressive Penalties, provided you have the right card of course. If you don’t and have to draw, just restart the game. If it’s your turn and you can’t play, restart the game. The "Ace!" achievement is really just luck, but you should only have to retry a few games max. Remember to call UNO before you play your last card so that you unlock "UNO!" as well as "Ace!". If you’re lucky, your last card will be a wild card and you’ll also unlock "Wild Abandon".
By the end of Step 2, you will have unlocked "Ace!" and "UNO!", possibly unlocked "Wild Abandon", and will have contributed to "Devotee", "Skip to My Lou", "Twister", "Wild Thing", and "High Noon".
Step 3: Xbox Live
Now you’re going for "Devotee", "UNO Shark", and "Multiplayer". For fastest games possible, you’re going to want to join or create a game of Partner UNO with no scoring that has four human players. After game one, win or lose, you will unlock "Multiplayer". After winning 10 four-player games on Xbox Live, you’ll unlock "UNO Shark". For the remaining 30 or so games, you can now opt to continue on Xbox Live or go back to single player. I suggest you stick on XBL, human players are more fun and faster. By the time you’ve won your 40th game and unlocked "Devotee", you should have also have unlocked all the remaining achievements ("Skip to My Lou", "Twister", "Wild Thing", "High Noon", and "Wild Abandon").
Conclusion:
You should now have your 200. The only achievement you could possibly still be missing is "Wild Abandon". If so, go back and play the rules specified in Step 2. You should unlock it fairly fast.
