Introduction:
Picking up right where The New Order left off, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus continues the narrative of BJ Blazkowicz and his mission to stop the Nazi Order. This time, the setting is America. This time, Frau Engel is leading the German opposition. As a single-player title, the game features a lengthy Campaign that will last about 10-12 hours or more as you work towards uncovering hundreds of collectibles and experimenting with an intuitive skill tree system. The achievement list covers story-related mission and game completion, six different collectible sets, maxing out all eighteen perks, and accomplishing one-off feats with weapons, contraptions, and other mission-specific interactions. Take note that while the achievement list is manageable over the course of two playthroughs, there is a single achievement for completing the game on the "Mein Leben" difficulty, which asks you to complete the game on the hardest difficulty in one life with no saves; should you die, it's back to the Main Menu.

Campaign - "Bring 'em on!" Difficulty:
It's strongly recommended to start your first playthrough on the "Bring 'em on!" difficulty. This is, more or less, the default/medium difficulty level of the game, which will allow you to get a feel for the mechanics and overall mission design during your initial playthrough. As you progress through the Campaign, you will naturally unlock ten story-related achievements. You will also earn "Revolution" and "Bring 'em on!" for beating the game and having completed the game on the "Bring 'em on!" difficulty, respectively. When the credits begin to role, allow them to play out to the end and you will also earn "Keep Playing."

Do take note that there are three missable achievements that should be obtained on this playthrough. These are "Crippled but Able," which can be obtained on the first mission of the game, "Kick It," for killing Hitler during the audition on Venus, and "I'm Machine Enough" for completing the Panzerhund section of New Orleans without allowing the mechanical beast to kill anyone.

Post-Story Mop-Up (Collectibles, Miscellaneous Tasks, Perks, & Side Missions):
While you are making your way through the Campaign on the first playthrough, be sure to explore each and every mission thoroughly for collectibles. Some of these collectibles can usually be found in plain sight, but most of them are scattered intricately in well-hidden areas. In total, there are 216 collectibles within the game: 50 Concept Art, 50 Gold, 15 Max’s Toys, 10 Records, 75 Starboards, and 16 Übercommander Death Cards. Each of these collectible sets have their own individual achievement, and obtaining one of each will unlock "Starting a Collection." Additionally, be on the lookout for Weapon Upgrade Kits. There are three achievements for upgrading the seven weapons in the game.

In addition to the collectibles, you'll also want to focus on working on all eighteen perks, six per playstyle (Stealth, Mayhem, and Tactical). You can begin working on their requirements at any time during the Campaign. Make sure to change up your playstyle often and consult the Perk Menu in order to track your progress and plan accordingly.

Lastly, there are several miscellaneous achievements you can earn during this playthrough. These tasks involve killing an enemy with each of the new contraptions (Battle Walker, Constrictor Harness, and Ram Shackles), stealth killing ten enemies in a row, and collecting 1,000 helmets. Some of the more involved miscellaneous tasks are "Across the Board," which can be obtained for killing all sixteen Übercommanders in the game, "Complete Package," which is earned for upgrading all three contraptions, and "Sidetracked," which is acquired once all nine side missions in the game have been completed.

All in all, there is a lot to mop up post-story. It's important to note the following, though: first, there are no missable collectibles in the game; second, you can use the War Map aboard Eva's Hammer to return to any district in the game at any time (provided it is unlocked via the Enigma Machine); third, you can farm Enigma Codes by revisiting the same district over and over (you'll need plenty of codes to unlock every district).

Campaign - "I am Death Incarnate!" Difficulty:
As the game's hardest difficulty setting, completing The New Colossus on "I am Death Incarnate!" is going to be a little troublesome. This is due to the aggressive nature of the AI and the amount of damage they dish out. Stay out of cover for too long and it's certain death. A Rambo-like playstyle may be advantageous from time to time, but on this difficulty, a healthy mix of stealth and guns blazing is suggested. Completing the the Campaign on "I am Death Incarnate!" is going to unlock a three stackable difficulty-related achievements: "Do or die!," "Call me Terror-Billy!," and "I am death incarnate."

Campaign - "Mein Leben" Difficulty:
After completing the game on "I am Death Incarnate!" it's time to attempt the most taxing difficulty setting Wolfenstein II has to offer: "Mein Leben." This difficulty, which actually unlocks upon completing the Campaign for the first time, is set to "I am Death Incarnate" with the twist that you only have one life and cannot save; if you die at any time during your playthrough, you will be booted to the Main Menu. This is an overly-difficult feat. Good luck.

The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe DLC

Introduction:
Wolfenstein II's second Freedom Chronicles add-on, "The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe," follow the events of Joseph Stallion as he breaks out of Nazi enslavement to exact revenge on Übercommander Metze. This episode is made up of three short Volumes/Chapters and can be accessed via the SAS Machine in the game's Main Menu. There are a total of ten achievements in this add-on, and it may take anywhere from three or more hours to complete depending on your skill with the "Mein Leben" difficulty.

Campaign - "I am Death Incarnate!" Difficulty:
As to avoid an unnecessary amount of playthroughs, it's recommended to start your first playthrough of Gunslinger Joe's Campaign on the "I am Death Incarnate!" difficulty. Completing the entirety of the episode will unlock three story-related achievements (one for completing each Volume/Chapter), as well as "First Team Soldier" given the difficulty level. During this playthrough, make sure to explore all areas thoroughly for collectibles; interacting with all readable items will unlock "Read the Defense," while finding all the gold pieces will unlock "Signing Bonus." If you miss any collectibles on this playthrough, you can always run through the episode again later, on the lowest difficulty, while following the video collectible guides provided below.

Combat Simulation Challenges:
Also accessed via the SAS Machine are the Simulation Challenges. For every Volume/Chapter you complete in Gunslinger Joe's Campaign, you will unlock a new challenge map. There are three achievements related to these challenge maps, and all that's required is to complete them all on the "I am Death Incarnate!" difficulty in order to unlock "Laboratory Expert," "Nightmare Expert," and "Venusian Expert."

Campaign - "Mein Leben" Difficulty:
After completing Gunslinger Joe's Campaign on "I am Death Incarnate!" it's time to tackle the episode again on "Mein Leben." This difficulty is set to "I am Death Incarnate!" with the twist that you only have one life and cannot save; if you die at any time during your playthrough, you will be booted to the Main Menu. Please refer to the "note" in the "All-Pro Warrior" achievement solution, as this difficulty works differently compared to the main Campaign.

'Gunslinger Joe' Conclusion:
"The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe" is a short episode, but it's still quite fun. The achievements aren't too bad, and yes, that includes the knowledge of there being another "Mein Leben" achievement. Since this Freedom Chronicles episode is so short, such a task shouldn't take more than an hour of your time.

The Diaries of Agent Silent Death DLC

Introduction:
Wolfenstein 2's third Freedom Chronicles add-on, "The Diaries of Agent Silent Death," follows the events of Jessica Valiant, as the ex operative works to put an end to the Nazi propaganda war machine in Hollywood and avenge her husband's death. This episode is made up of three short Volumes/Chapters and can be accessed via the SAS Machine in the game's Main Menu. There are a total of ten achievements in this add-on, and it will likely only take one hour (maybe two hours) to complete depending on your skill with the "Mein Leben" difficulty.

Campaign - "I am Death Incarnate!" Difficulty:
As to avoid an unnecessary amount of playthroughs, it's recommended to start your first playthrough of Agent Silent Death's Campaign on the "I am Death Incarnate!" difficulty. Completing the entirety of the episode will unlock three story-related achievements (one for completing each Volume/Chapter), as well as "Expert Spy" given the difficulty level. During this playthrough, make sure to explore all areas thoroughly for collectibles; interacting with all readable items will unlock "Investigation Complete," while finding all the gold pieces will unlock "California Gold." If you miss any collectibles on this playthrough, you can always run through the episode again later, on the lowest difficulty, while following the video collectible guides provided below.

Combat Simulation Challenges:
Also accessed via the SAS Machine are the Simulation Challenges. For every Volume/Chapter you complete in Agent Silent Death's Campaign, you will unlock a new challenge map. There are three achievements related to these challenge maps, and all that's required is to complete them all on the "I am Death Incarnate!" difficulty in order to unlock "Sacramento Medalist," "Hollywood Medalist," and "Lunar Medalist."

Campaign - "Mein Leben" Difficulty:
After completing Agent Silent Death's Campaign on "I am Death Incarnate!" it's time to tackle the episode again on "Mein Leben." This difficulty is set to "I am Death Incarnate!" with the twist that you only have one life and cannot save; if you die at any time during your playthrough, you will be booted to the Main Menu. Please refer to the "note" in the "Ultimate Spy" achievement solution, as this difficulty works differently compared to the main Campaign.

'Agent Silent Death' Conclusion:
"The Diaries of Agent Silent Death" is another short, yet highly enjoyable episode. The achievement list is almost identical to that of the first DLC, which should make it feel familiar and manageable. All in all, it should take around one hour to complete this add-on.

The Deeds of Captain Wilkins DLC

Introduction:
Wolfenstein II's fourth and final Freedom Chronicles add-on, "The Deeds of Captain Wilkins," follows the events of the U.S. Army's Captain Gerald Wilkins on his mission in Nazi-controlled Alaska to dismantle Operation Black Sun. This episode is made up of three short Volumes/Chapters and can be accessed via the SAS Machine in the game's Main Menu. There are a total of ten achievements in this add-on, and it will likely only take two hours to complete depending on your skill with the "Mein Leben" difficulty.

Campaign - "I am Death Incarnate!" Difficulty:
As to avoid an unnecessary amount of playthroughs, it's recommended to start your first playthrough of Captain Wilkins' Campaign on the "I am Death Incarnate!" difficulty. Completing the entirety of the episode will unlock three story-related achievements (one for completing each Volume/Chapter), as well as "Army Vet" given the difficulty level. During this playthrough, make sure to explore all areas thoroughly for collectibles; interacting with all readable items will unlock "Intel Required," while finding all the gold pieces will unlock "Stipend Gained." If you miss any collectibles on this playthrough, you can always run through the episode again later, on the lowest difficulty, while following the video collectible guides provided below.

Combat Simulation Challenges:
Also accessed via the SAS Machine are the Simulation Challenges. For every Volume/Chapter you complete in Captain Wilkins' Campaign, you will unlock a new challenge map. There are three achievements related to these challenge maps, and all that's required is to complete them all on the "I am Death Incarnate!" difficulty in order to unlock "Alaskan Expert," "Kodiak Expert," and "Sub Expert."

Campaign - "Mein Leben" Difficulty:
After completing Captain Wilkins' Campaign on "I am Death Incarnate!" it's time to tackle the episode again on "Mein Leben." This difficulty is set to "I am Death Incarnate!" with the twist that you only have one life and cannot save; if you die at any time during your playthrough, you will be booted to the Main Menu. Please refer to the "note" in the "Super Soldier" achievement solution, as this difficulty works differently compared to the main Campaign.

Conclusion:
"The Deeds of Captain Wilkins" is a fine end to Wolfenstein II's post-launch add-ons. Once again, the achievement list isn't anything foreign and should be very manageable to complete. Within two hours, the last of Wolfenstein II's content will finally be wrapped up.

Overall Conclusion:
Despite one very, very difficult achievement, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is another welcomed addition into the recently revamped series. Once again, the narrative of the Campaign is a massive thrill ride filled with enjoyable characters. In as little as two or three playthroughs - though, in actuality, you may want to practice for the "Mein Leben" difficulty many times more - you will be able to add The New Colossus to your list of completions and take pride knowing it was not a walk in the park.

  • Find all starcards

This is best done post-story by visiting the several districts of the game via the War Map in Eva's Hammer.

Please refer below to "Art Aficionado" for more video playlists of all collectibles broken down by district.

  • Found all concept art

This achievement, as well as all previous collectible achievements, can and should be mopped-up after you have completed the game. This can be done by revisiting districts via the War Map in Eva's Hammer (districts are unlocked with Enigma Codes). Fortunately, none of the collectibles are missable.

While most of these collectibles can and may be found naturally over the course of your playthrough, there are plenty that are tucked away in hidden rooms or along passageways that are not always directly taken when tackling the main objective of a mission. It's worth noting that when you stealth kill commanders, it will not only reveal more of the map, but fill the map with small, orange magnifying glass icons. These icons act as indicators of collectible locations.

As a general reminder, you can always check your district progress at any time by opening the Journal and referring to the menu's "Extras" tab. Likewise, the game will automatically save any collectibles that you immediately pick up, so feel free to quit the district once you grab what you need.

Please refer below to the collectible video guides, courtesy of Harry94. These guides can be followed post-story as you revisit districts of the game to mop-up any collectibles you may have missed.

  • Upgrade a weapon

Please refer below to "Gun Nut" for more information.

  • Fully upgrade a weapon

Please refer below to "Gun Nut" for more information.

  • Fully upgrade all weapons

Each of the seven standard weapons in the game - Pistole, Maschinenpistole, Sturmgewehr, Schockhammer, Kampfpistole, Laserkraftwerk, and Handgrenate - have three upgrades. As such, you will need to find a total of twenty-one Weapon Upgrade Kits over the course of your playthrough in order to upgrade all of them. These Kits are large, grey toolboxes that can be looted/picked up just like any other intractable item in the world.

If you do not end up finding the necessary amount of Upgrade Kits during your initial playthrough, fret not; you can revisit districts post-story via the War Map and collect anything (Kits and other collectibles) you may have missed. In fact, some Kits and collectibles can only be obtained when revisiting districts!

With all of this in mind, please refer to THIS TEXT-BASED GUIDE for a detailed look at twenty Weapon Upgrade Kits. Since you will need twenty-one Kits for this achievement, though, it's worth noting that:

    • There is a second Weapon Upgrade Kit in New Orleans - Bienville Street. It's located in plain sight as you enter the sewers towards the beginning of the district (assuming you are revisiting it via the War Map).

Additionally, several gamers have reported the following:

    1. The text-based may be off by a little bit, as there is another Kit in the same hidden alcove as the Battle Walker Contraption in Venus - Transporthalle.
    2. Some Kits may respawn when revisiting Districts, as after upgrading all of the weapons, the inventory menu still showed 8+ Kits remaining.

Once you have fully upgraded all seven weapons in the game, this achievement will unlock.

  • Beat the game

This achievement is story-related and cannot be missed.

Please refer below to "I am death incarnate!" for more information.

  • Beat the game on "Bring 'em on!" difficulty or higher

Please refer below to "I am death incarnate!" for more information.

  • Beat the game on "Do or die!" difficulty or higher

Please refer below to "I am death incarnate!" for more information.

  • Beat the game on "Call me Terror-Billy!" difficulty or higher

Please refer below to "I am death incarnate!" for more information.

  • Beat the game on "I am death incarnate!" difficulty or higher

The "I am death incarnate!" difficulty is the game's second hardest difficulty setting to experience; however, given that large portions of some missions can be handled stealthily (thereby reducing the amount of confrontation with the enemy) and the surplus of ammo and armor throughout each and every mission, you should find that "I am death incarnate!" isn't too difficult a task.

In total, there are eleven missions you must complete in order to achieve full Campaign completion. Each mission can generally be tackled in one of two play styles: guns blazing or stealthily. Several missions are much easier to complete with a silent approach and thus unlocking the suppressor for the Pistole and/or Maschenpistole and using silent takedowns and throwing hatchets will help you clear rooms quickly and quietly. Conversely, some sections need to be handled aggressively either with pure firepower or by rushing past the enemy altogether. As such, it's also worth upgrading the Sturmgewehr and Schockhammer over the course of your playthrough.

Whichever way you choose to tackle the Campaign, keep these key tips in mind:

    • SAVE FERGUS IN THE BEGINNING OF THE GAME
    • Throwing hatchets can be picked up after thrown
    • Killing Commanders while undetected prevents reinforcements from being called in
    • Dual-wielding increases damage output, but reduces your accuracy
    • Use the lean feature to your advantage when taking on enemies from behind cover; in fact, abuse the lean feature often
    • Stealth through anything you can, especially if there is a Commander in the area
    • While sprinting, the enemy will have trouble shooting at you from a distance
    • Avoid using melee executions during combat entirely; the animation lasts too long
    • Reaching certain sections of a mission will force the game to despawn enemies behind you, even if they were on alert
    • Many sections of a mission will still be accessible after passing through them, allowing you be return and collect ammo, armor, or health
    • You can distract enemies by firing suppressed bullets or throwing hatchets
    • Armor and health carries over from scene to scene, so aim to finish portions of a mission with as much armor and health as possible
      • This is especially applicable for the "Mesquite Farmhouse" mission; aim to complete this mission with as much armor and health as possible since it will carry over into the Courthouse fight (the hardest portion of the game)
    • If you saved Fergus during the opening of the game, you are given access to the Laserkraftwerk during the "Section F" mission
      • Unlock the supercharge upgrade for the Laserkraftwerk as early as possible
      • One hit with just 20 kWz can kill a Supersoldaten with ease
    • Make sure to fully upgrade the Sturmgewehr and Schockhammer as early as possible; the suppressors for the Pistole and/or Maschenpistole are absolutely vital
    • When it comes time to choose a contraption, pick the Battle Walker and the complete its side mission on Eva's Hammer in order to unlock the Stamina perk

Overall, completing the entire Campaign on "I am death incarnate!" will prove to be challenging, but with the right mindset, patience, and prep, it shouldn't be too hard compared to the entirety of The New Order. Once you deal with Frau Engel at the end of the game and the credits begin to roll, the achievement will unlock.

  • Beat the game on "Mein leben" difficulty

    (2)

The "Mein leben" difficulty will unlock once you have completed the Campaign at least once. On this difficulty, which is actually set to "I am death incarnate," you will only have one life. Additionally, you cannot save. This means that if you die during your playthrough, you are sent back to the Main Menu. Fortunately, you are able to pause your game should you need a break.

For high-level tips and strategies involved with this difficulty setting, please refer above to "I am death incarnate!" for more information.

A successful, uninterrupted playthrough on "Mein leben" should take around 3-4 hours to complete depending on your playstyle. Feel free to utilize the commentary-assisted video walkthrough below, courtesy of KreeperV. Thanks for all the tips and motivation, KreeperV!

NOTE: For an additional, commentary-assisted video walkthrough, there's also THIS GUIDE by TheFalcon. Thanks for the excellent walkthrough, TheFalcon!

  • Max a perk

Refer below to "Max all Perks" for more information.

  • Max all perks

In order to obtain this achievement, you will need to reach the max level with all eighteen perks in the game. Take note that each perk has five levels to it. Upon completing the fifth level of a perk, you will then have maxed it out.

The perks are split into three distinct playstyles: Stealth, Mayhem, and Tactical. It's worth noting here that the sixth perk of each tree (the contraption perk) is locked until that contraption is obtained during your playthrough. What's more, while you may make natural progress towards some of these perks over the course of your playthrough, every single one of them can be grinded out post-story by revisiting districts via the War Map aboard Eva's Hammer.

If some further guidance is required on how to unlock some of the harder perks - including one overall key tip - please refer below.

    Additional Tips:

    • You can create a manual save during the animation of a kill and grind out the perk very, very quickly this way. For example, if you throw a grenade at a group of three enemies, save your game just before the grenade explodes. Once the grenade goes off and kills the three enemies, reload your save. When the game loads back up, the grenade will be in the process of exploding, thus reducing the need to set this up again. This is a very useful tip for the following perks: Takedowns (on robotic enemies), Constrictor Harness Kills, Grenade Kills, Election Stun Kills, and Enemy Grenade Kills.
    • For Quick Commander Kills and Enigma Codes, make a manual save while standing behind a secluded Commander. Kill him, collect his code, reload your save, and continue the grind.
    • For Ram Shackle Kills, sprint head-on into an unarmored enemy and then make a save once they get back up. Now sprint into him again, which will obliterate his body. Reload the save and continue the grind.
    • For Environmental Kills, make a manual save once you fall onto the conveyor belts during the Transporthalle District of Venus. While you are riding the conveyor belt, there will be four enemies standing on the catwalks all around you with oil drums conveniently placed beside them. Shoot at each oil drum as you pass by to net yourself four environmental kills before reloading your save and continuing the grind.
    • For Electrical Stun Kills, find one of the robot-like enemies in their "standby" state. Make sure you have the electromagnetic upgrade to the Handgrenate. Now toss a Handgrenate at the robot. When it's stunned, quickly make a manual save and then kill the bot with any weapon. Now reload your save and continue the grind.
    • For Enemy Grenade Kills, revisit the Ruins District of Manhattan. Once the mission opens up, run past the two enemies straight ahead and jump down into the ruined street, making a beeline north towards a turned over vehicle/debris. Sit here and eventually one of the Nazis will toss a grenade your way. Pick it up, toss is back, and create a manual save. When the grenade explodes and kills the enemy, reload your save to continue the grind.

Once all eighteen perks have been maxed out, this achievement will unlock.

  • Ramshackles tackle a charging Supersoldat

After obtaining the Ram Shackles contraption (either through the story or by finding it in the Bienville Street district of New Orleans), continue onward with the Campaign until you reach an area with an Supersoldat (heavily armored enemy).

Once you're engaged with the aforementioned enemy, put some distance between yourself and the Nazi. After a few shots fired, the Supersoldat will lean forward and charge right at you. As this happens, begin sprinting head-on towards the enemy and when you collide, the impact should knock him back, thus unlocking the achievement.

  • Perform a Constrictor Harness takedown

This achievement is best done post-story.

After obtaining the Constrictor contraption (either through the story or by finding it in the Nuclear Bunker district of Manhattan), there are two spots to easily get this done.

The first is during the Wall district of New Orleans. After infiltrating the Wall, make your way to the lowest level without causing any alarm. Here, there are two enemies on patrol; one is walking back and forth through a large, red-lit tunnel, and the second is standing still in front of a cart of boxes. Do whatever you can to eliminate the mobile guard stealthily. Once that is done, pass through the tunnel and exit so that you are behind the cart of boxes. Now crouch in front of the cart and move forward. This will cause BJ to squeeze underneath. Crawl forward and when the melee/execution button prompt appears on-screen, click it to perform a Constrictor Harness takedown.

The second place to get this done, which is actually right after you pick up the Constrictor contraption if you didn't choose it as part of the story, is during the Übercommander assassination mission in the Manhattan - Nuclear Bunker. Towards the end of this mission, you will need to crawl through a floor grate in order to reach the room with the Übercommander. Go into the grate and peak your head out of the exit. Make a manual save here, fire an unsilenced weapon at the ground, and then crawl back into the grate. This will cause the soldier guarding the Übercommander to come forth and inspect the noise. When he is close, perform the Constrictor Harness takedown to unlock the achievement.

  • Perform a Battle Walker takedown

This achievement is best done post-story.

After obtaining the Battle Walker contraption (either through the story or by finding it in the Transporthalle district of Venus), use the War Map aboard Eva's Hammer to visit the Nuclear Bunker district of Manhattan. Once there, continue on through the area as if you were making your way to the Übercommander (or second Commander if you've already eliminated the Übercommander), which is nearly at the end of this district. When that Commander signal pops up, you should be right outside a giant rotating door. Make a manual save here. Now pass through through the door and you should see a lone Nazi soldier standing on a catwalk. Activate the Battle Walker by double tapping and then walk up to the catwalk. At this height, you should be able to melee/execute the soldier, thus performing a Battle Walker takedown and unlocking the achievement.

Please refer below for a visual guide, courtesy of 360GameTV.

  • Stealth kill 10 enemies in a row

This achievement can technically be done post-story when revisiting districts, but it can easily be obtained with throwing hatchets while in Section F during the main story.

After dropping into the locker room that connects into Section F, press on through until you are required to climb a ladder. When you reach the top, assuming you do not have any throwing hatchets, collect the one on the wall behind you and another wedged into the dart board in the middle of the room. Now make a manual save, and after each enemy killed, make a manual save in case you mess up.

    • The first enemy you'll want to kill is patrolling on the right side of the room.
    • Next, follow the left-hand side of the room, crouch under the pip, and stealth kill the Nazi here.
    • Move through the doorway and into the next room. There are two enemies here. Use throwing hatchets to kill them both.
    • Follow the stairs up and onto the catwalk. There are two enemies here - one patrolling back and forth and another who is stationary towards the end of the catwalk, leaning on the railing. Use a throwing hatchet on the patrolling enemy when his back is turned (but is far away from the other enemy), then stealth kill the second guard.
    • Move through the next door and there is an enemy with his back towards you. Get up close and stealth kill him.
    • Continue on through the mission. After you swim through a vent, follow the stairs and you will find yourself in a large room. There are various enemies in this room, patrolling the catwalks. There is no set way to tackle this room - just use your throwing hatchets, save often once you get a stealth kill, and be cautious.

Once the tenth enemy has been killed stealthily, the achievement will unlock.

  • Collect 1000 helmets

This achievement will need to be mopped-up post-story.

After you have completed the game and unlocked the Nuclear Bunker District of Manhattan via the Enigma Machine, use the War Map in Eva's Hammer to return to said district. Once you arrive, make a manual save. You should notice right away that there are three helmets in the very room you spawn in (on the right) that can be collected. Each helmet will grant you 20 points of armor. If you move into the corridor straight ahead, there are another two helmets on the floor to the left. Pick up all five helmets (see the note below), reload your manual save, and then continue to grind this out for as long as necessary. You should be able to net fifteen helmets every sixty seconds, which comes out to 1,000 helmets in sixty-seven minutes.

It's going to take some time to amass 1,000 helmets, but this is by far the most efficient way to grind this out post-story. Hopefully, you have collected well over 250 helmets during your playthrough so that the grind doesn't take more than an hour.

NOTE: If you're already at full armor when going back to this district, allow the two Nazi soldiers in the room ahead to strip down your armor a significant amount. Once your armor hits under 20, kill the enemies, position yourself near the helmets, create that manual save, collect all five helmets, and then begin the grind.

  • Visit every District

Please refer above to "Across the Board" for more information.

  • Complete the Killboard

After returning to Eva's Hammer from the Manhattan Nuclear Bunker mission (about halfway through the game), you will finally have access to the War Map in the Helm of the U-Boat. This War Map allows you to revisit every district from the Campaign (e.g. the Subway District of Manhattan, the Lakeview District of New Orleans, the Habitat district of Venus, etc.).

In order to gain access these districts, though, you will need to unlock them via the nearby Enigma Machine. This is done by using the Enigma Codes collected/looted from the Commanders you come across throughout the Campaign. For every few Enigma Codes you decipher, you will unlock a new district, and for every new district you unlock, you will add an Übercommander's profile to the Killboard (the glass window across from the War Map).

Since there are sixteen districts in the game, there are sixteen Killboard targets to eliminate. Frau Engel is on there, too, but she is eliminated naturally via the story. For the purposes of this achievement, all you have to do is visit a district, kill the Übercommander stationed there, and collect his death card. After doing this and returning to the U-Boat, that Nazi's profile will be marked off on the Killboard.

Please refer to the checklist below in order to gauge how many Enigma Codes are required for each district.

    Manhattan, New York

    1. Nuclear Bunker District - 0 codes (unlocked by default for story purposes)
    2. Harbor District - 2 codes
    3. Subway District - 2 codes
    4. Ruins District - 3 codes
    5. Penthouse District - 3 codes

    Roswell, New Mexico

    1. Downtown District, 5 codes
    2. Underground District, 4 codes

    New Orleans, Louisiana

    1. Confinement Wall - 5 codes
    2. Ghetto District - 5 codes
    3. Bienville Street District - 4 codes
    4. Lakeview District -5 codes

    Mesquite, Texas

    1. Farmhouse District - 6 codes

    Venus

    1. Aerostat Habitat District - 5 codes
    2. Oberkommando District - 6 codes
    3. Transporthalle District - 7 codes

    Riverside Bunker, Neu York

    1. Riverside Bunker District - 8 codes (this district is hidden/locked until after you've completed all other Übercommando missions)

After the sixteenth Übercommander has been killed, this achievement will unlock upon returning to Eva's Hammer.

NOTE: If you need to grind out Enigma Codes in order to unlock a district, feel free to revisit any already completed district in order to hunt down Commanders and collect their codes. In fact, the Manhattan - Penthouse district is the the best area to grind out Enigma Codes since it's a relatively small map. Once you've collected the two codes, you can return to Eva's Hammer by opening the Journal and pressing on the "Missions" tab.

  • Acquire all Contraptions and Contraption upgrades

About halfway through the game, you will be given the opportunity to select one contraption as part of BJ's new body. These are the Battle Walker, Constrictor Harness, and Ram Shackles. For the two contraptions you do not choose, they can be collected at any time by revisiting the district they are housed in. When in that district, simply press and a small waypoint will appear on the HUD. Following this waypoint will lead you to the contraption, primed for looting!

For the purposes of this solution, all contraptions and their upgrades will be outlined below.

    Battle Walker

    • Location: Transporthalle District, Venus
    • Upgrade: Speak to Irina Yakova aboard Eva's Hammer and complete her favor in order to unlock this contraption's upgrade. She is found in the upper corridors of the U-Boat, on the fourth floor. Refer to 1:00 in THIS VIDEO for further guidance.

    Constrictor Harness

    • Location: Nuclear Bunker District, Manhattan
    • Upgrade: Speak to Habib Ismail aboard Eva's Hammer and complete his favor in order to unlock this contraption's upgrade. He is found in a storage room at the end of the corridor on the second floor of the U-Boat. If you follow the signs to the Cantina, but pass the steps and continue down the hallway, you should find him. Refer to 3:44 in THIS VIDEO for further guidance.

    Ram Shackles

    • Location: Bienville Street District, New Orleans
    • Upgrade: Speak to Ritva Tuomivaara aboard Eva's Hammer and complete her favor in order to unlock this contraption's upgrade. She can be found on the elevator platform of the second floor of the U-Boat. Refer to 7:18 in THIS VIDEO for further guidance.

Once all three contraptions and their upgrades have been obtained, this achievement will finally unlock.

  • Upgrade a Contraption

Please refer above to "Complete Package" for more information.

  • Achieve the highest score in the Shooting Range

The Shooting Range can be found on Eva's Hammers and is accessible at any point after completing the second mission of the game. In order to obtain this achievement, you will need to score over 375 points in under sixty second. This is, in fact, very, very easy to do.

It's recommended to use the Maschinenpistole while going for the achievement as there is a lot of ammo on the table to your right. When you're ready, press the button on the counter to begin. Now simply shoot as many moving targets as you can in the allotted time and you should have this done with ease.

Please refer below for a visual guide, courtesy of 360GameTV.

  • Achieve the second best time in the Killhouse

The Killhouse can be found on Eva's Hammers and is accessible at any point after completing the second mission of the game. In order to obtain this achievement, you will need to complete the entire course under 1:29. For every target you miss, you will be penalized with additional time at the end.

Use whichever weapon you feel most comfortable with during your run, and be sure to take your time to pick off targets. While there may seem like a need to rush, you really don't have to do so. Once you make it to the end of the course, interact with the monitor that is displaying your time to clock out. If you completed the course under the allotted time, the achievement will unlock.

Please refer below for a visual guide, courtesy of 360GameTV.

  • Perform a takedown while in the wheelchair

    This achievement is missable.

During the opening mission of the game, BJ will be confined to a wheelchair due to his injuries. About halfway through this mission, after speaking with Set, you will find yourself on a catwalk. Move forward and then hitch a left. You should spot a Nazi soldier with his back towards you. Creep up on the enemy and when the button prompt appears, execute the enemy quietly in order to unlock the achievement.

NOTE: This achievement is considered missable since you cannot replay the opening of the game at any point unless starting a new playthrough.

  • Throw a hatchet and kill an enemy from 30m

This achievement can be obtained post-story by revisiting the Transporthalle District of Venus. If you are all out of throwing hatchets, you can pick one up at the Shooting Range aboard Eva's Hammer.

Once you are loaded back into the district, move forward on the catwalk and onto the pipes ahead. Continue moving down the pipe, but when you get to the end, do not drop off! Instead, turn right and look down. You should see two Nazi soldiers leaning against the railing on a platform below. Turn around and move up the left pipe until you hit a large conduit jutting up. Now turn back around, take aim, and toss a throwing hatchet at one of the enemies below. The achievement will unlock once the guard has died from the hatchet.

Please refer below for a visual guide, courtesy of 360GameTV.

  • Visit a District

Please refer above to "Across the Board" for more information.

  • Decipher an Übercommander's location using the Enigma Machine

Please refer above to "Across the Board" for more information.

  • Retro

    10

    Play Wolfstone 3D

This achievement can be obtained at any point during the game aboard Eva's Hammer.

All that's required for this achievement is to interact with the Wolfenstein 3D arcade machine in Club Kreisau. This area of the U-Boat is located right above the Cantina. If you're starting from BJ & Anya's room, take a left, then a quick right, heading down the hall past Max and Bombate's quarters. When you reach the stairs, head up and continue to follow the signs. You'll end up in a bar-like area where you can find the arcade machine.

  • Ghost

    30

Finish a District without triggering an alarm

This achievement is best done while revisiting the Mesquite - Farmhouse district.

Once the mission begins, crouch, move forward, and stealthily eliminate the two guards directly ahead either with silenced headshots or throwing hatchets. Now move to the right and hug the wall as you make your way north. Following the right-hand side of the area, continue to move at a steady pace until you hit a wooden fence. Climb this fence, drop into the water, and swim across to the other side of the yard.

At this point, make a manual save. Now continue moving north while staying as far to the right as possible. You'll eventually reach the farmhouse. Make your way to the back of the farmhouse and enter the kitchen through the backdoor. There is a lone Commander patrolling the first floor of this house. Eliminate him quietly.

Exit the house the way you came in and continue hugging the right-hand side of the yard while making your way to the Übercommander's location. He is accompanied by a kampfhund and a single Nazi soldier. Move in closely and be ready with your silenced Pistole. Cap the Übercommander in the head, then do the same to his Nazi friend. This will almost instantly trigger a response from the kampfhund, so be ready to put him down, too. If done quickly enough, you should have eliminated all three of these targets without triggering any sort of alarm. Should that be the case, pick up the Übercommander's death card and exit the mission.

This achievement will then unlock upon returning to Eva's Hammer.

  • Complete all side missions

This achievement is best done post-story.

In total, there are nine side missions in the game, almost all of which are initiated aboard Eva's Hammer by interacting with various NPCs. Most of these side missions are simple tasks that require you to revisit a district and destroy various items, while others involve completing small favors to upgrade your contraptions.

For those side missions related to upgrading the three contraptions, please refer to the "Complete Package" achievement for more information.

For those side missions that are not tied to the contraptions, please refer to the checklist below for more information.

Side Mission: Collect Toys for Max
    Location: Various Districts

    • For this side quest, you must collect all of Max's toys in the game. Fortunately, there is no NPC that you are required to speak with in order to initiate this. Simply collect all fifteen toys and the side quest will then be marked as complete. Please refer to the "Art Aficionado" achievement for more information and a video guide playlist.

Side Mission: Feed Rosa the Pig
    Location: Eva's Hammer

    • Interact with Rosa the Pig aboard Eva's Hammer. Her pen/room is located right across the all from BJ's and Bombate's room. After speaking with the swine, make your way to the storage room - it's located near one of the side entrances to the Cantina Kitchen. Interact with all of the potato piles and then return to Rose's pen. Interact with the pig once more to feed it, and then the side quest will be marked as complete.

Side Mission: Get Rid of the Rat
    Location: Eva's Hammer

    • Speak to Demont Conway aboard Eva's Hammer. He is located in an alcove of the U-Boat next to the Ammo Depot. Now make your way into the Ammo Depot and interact with the upside-down box on the ground. Once the box is flipped, the side quest is marked as complete.

    Side Mission: Destroy the Tapes
    Location: Manhattan Nuclear Bunker District

    • Speak to Laney inside Hacker Central to initiate this side quest. Now use the War Map to revisit the Nuclear Bunker district of Manhattan. When you arrive, press to see waypoints to the objectives. Follow these waypoints on your HUD - they will bring you to the offices of the bunker where you can destroy red tapes. Once all three sets of tapes are destroyed, the side mission is marked as complete. You can return to Eva's Hammer by any time by opening the Journal, going to the "Missions" tab, and pressing to exit the mission.

Side Mission: Destroy the Sumerian Tablets
    Location: Roswell Underground District

    • Speak to Maya Gilliam aboard Eva's Hammer. She can usually be found around the Hanger Bay or on the second floor of the Helm. Now use the War Map to revisit the Underground district of Roswell. After making your way down the initial area and emerging into a large cavern with Supersoldats, press to see waypoints to the objectives. Follow these waypoints on your HUD - they will bring you to the one of the train carts where you can destroy the Sumerian tablets. Once all three tablets are destroyed, the side mission is marked as complete. You can return to Eva's Hammer by any time by opening the Journal, going to the "Missions" tab, and pressing to exit the mission.

    Side Mission: Save Hercules' Cousin
    Location: Venus Oberkommando District

    • Speak with Hercules Leclerc aboard Eva's Hammer. He can be found on the second floor of Set's Lab. Now use the War Map to revisit the Oberkommando district of Venus. When you arrive, make your way through the station until you reach the elevator. Take the elevator up, and then press to see the waypoint to the objective. Follow this waypoint to a closed off room on the right-hand side of a long hallway. Inside, interact with Leclerc's cousin and you will complete the side quest and automatically be brought back to Eva's Hammer.

Once all six of these side missions have been completed, as well as the contraption upgrade missions, the achievement will finally unlock.

  • Capture the Ausmerzer

This achievement is story-related and cannot be missed.

  • Kill Hitler during the Aerostat Audition

    This achievement is missable.

During the Venus mission, you will be auditioning for a role in a movie. After a very, very long cutscene, the director will ask you to step forward into the glass box for your scene. As you get up from your chair and walk towards the glass box, Hitler will be laying down on your left-hand side. Approach him, and follow the on-screen prompt to stomp on his neck, thereby unlocking the achievement.

Do take note that doing this will get you killed instantly by the Nazis in the room. As a result, you'll be reverted back to your last checkpoint after killing Hitler.

NOTE: This achievement is considered missable since Hitler is absent from this area when revisiting the district.

  • Beat the Panzerhund ride without killing anyone on "Bring 'em On!" difficulty or higher

    This achievement is missable.

During the New Orleans mission, you will eventually meet Horton and then mount a tamed Panzerhund with the task of making your way across the city towards the next objective. For the purposes of this achievement, you cannot kill any enemies with the Panzerhund.

This may sound difficult, but there is one simple workaround: unmount the mechanical beast and finish this section of the mission on foot. Yes, it's that easy. Since you'll likely be attempting this on the "Bring 'em on!" difficulty anyways, this portion of the mission shouldn't be too troublesome to deal with normally. Utilizing your own weaponry, make your way through the streets and towards the sewers. Once you have fallen into the sewers and come back up to street level, this achievement will unlock.

NOTE: This achievement is considered missable since there is no Panzerhund ride when revisiting this district.

  • Destroy a Zerstörer with an Übergewehr

This achievement can either be obtained during the final boss fight of the main Campaign or at the very end of the Riverside, New York district. This solution will assume it is being attempted at the latter location.

Towards the very end of this district (this district can only be unlocked with eight Enigma Codes after all of the other Übercommanders have been killed and their death cards have been collected), there will be a Zerstörer guarding the Übercommander (or Commander, if replaying this district after already having killed the Übercommander).

For the purposes of this achievement, you must destroy one of the Zerstörer's arms in order to use its Übergewehr. This can be done by shooting at the shoulder joint on either arm until the armor pops off and then, later, its arm breaks off entirely. Now race towards the debris, pick up the high-tech weapon, and run away.

With some distance between you and the Zerstörer, begin to fire up the Übergewehr by holding . Release the trigger and the weapon will fire a powerful black hole-like energy projectile at the mech. Do this as many times as necessary (likely just two or three times) and the Zerstörer will be destroyed, thus unlocking the achievement.

  • Wait for the game to resume after the credits

After completing the game, allow the credits to play out on their own. When you return to Eva's Hammer and regain control of BJ, this achievement will unlock.

DLC: The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe (Store Link)

There are 10 achievements with a total of 180 points

  • Escaped from Research Station Omega

This achievement is story-related and cannot be missed.

This challenge will unlock after "Volume 1: Captured" has been completed on any difficulty.

  • Eluded your pursuers

This achievement is story-related and cannot be missed.

This challenge will unlock after "Volume 2: On the Run" has been completed on any difficulty.

  • Enact Revenge on Übercommander Metze

This achievement is story-related and cannot be missed.

This challenge will unlock after "Volume 3: Showdown" has been completed on any difficulty.

  • Find all readables in "The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe"

In total, there are twenty-four readables to find in order to unlock this achievement. More specifically, there are eight readables within each Volume.

This collectible set generally consists of notes, newspapers clippings, or journal pads that are scattered around the missions. As such, be sure to explore every inch of every area carefully. Remember, you can always check your mission collectible progress at any time by opening the Journal and referring to the menu's "Extras" tab. Likewise, the game will automatically save any collectibles that you immediately pick up, so feel free to quit the mission once you grab what you need.

Please refer below to the collectible video guide, courtesy of randomChievos. This guide can be followed during your playthrough, or on a mop-up playthrough on one of the lower difficulties.

  • Find all gold in "The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe"

In total, there are twelve pieces of gold to find in order to unlock this achievement. More specifically, there are four pieces of gold within each Volume.

Most of these collectibles will require deep exploration as they are usually tucked away in areas that are not always directly taken when tackling the main objective of a mission.

  • Beat the "The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe" on "I am Death Incarnate" difficulty or higher

The "I am death incarnate!" difficulty is the game's second hardest difficulty. Each of the three Volumes in this DLC can generally be tackled loud or stealthily, but you'll soon notice that stealth isn't always a viable option. As such, don't be afraid to bunker down in a room, lean out of a doorway, and kill the enemies as they come funneling towards your position; in fact, this approach to combat is smarter than trying to complete the DLC stealthily, given its mission design.

As always, keep these key tips in mind during your playthrough:

    • Canned goods can be picked up after thrown
    • Canned goods only knock out enemies when thrown at their head
    • You will regenerate armor in intervals on 25 when you pick up a piece of armor
      • If you are at 20 armor, and pick up a piece that is only worth 5 points, you will still generate up to 50 points of armor
    • Killing Commanders while undetected prevents reinforcements from being called in
    • Dual-wielding increases damage output, but reduces your accuracy
    • Use the lean feature to your advantage when taking on enemies from behind cover; in fact, abuse the lean feature often
    • While sprinting, the enemies will have trouble shooting at you from a distance
    • You can distract enemies by throwing canned goods

Once you take your revenge on Übercommander Metze at the end of the game and the final cutscene begins to play out, the achievement will unlock.

  • Beat "The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe" on "Mein leben" difficulty

The "Mein leben" difficulty for this DLC is actually available from the get-go. When you boot up "The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe," you can toggle the difficulty by tapping until the bar in the lower right-hand side of the screen is maxed out.

On this difficulty, which is actually set to "I am Death Incarnate," you will only have one life. Additionally, you cannot save. This means that if you die during your playthrough, you are sent back to the Main Menu. Fortunately, you are able to pause your game should you need a break.

For high-level tips and strategies involved with this difficulty setting, please refer above to "First Team Soldier" for more information.

A successful, uninterrupted playthrough on "Mein leben" should take just over one hour to complete depending on your playstyle. Feel free to utilize the commentary-assisted video walkthrough below, courtesy of KreeperV.

NOTE: After completing a Volume, your progress is saved and you are returned to the DLC's Main Menu. If, for example, you then die during Volume 2, you do not have to redo Volume 1; you will only need to redo Volume 2. This means that each Volume can technically be tackled individually on "Mein leben," which makes this achievement very manageable. All this being said, you must still complete all three Volumes in one sitting, meaning you cannot shut off your console after completing Volume 1 and then come back to complete Volumes 2 and 3 on another day.

  • Beat the Station Omega challenge on "I am Death Incarnate" difficulty

This challenge will unlock after "Volume 1: Captured" has been completed on any difficulty.

Please refer below to "Venusian Expert" for more information regarding challenge maps.

  • Beat the Nightmare challenge on "I am Death Incarnate" difficulty

This challenge will unlock after "Volume 2: On the Run" has been completed on any difficulty.

Please refer below to "Venusian Expert" for more information regarding challenge maps.

  • Beat the Venus challenge on "I am Death Incarnate" difficulty

This challenge will unlock after "Volume 3: Showdown" has been completed on any difficulty.

From the Main Menu, you can access challenges by opening the SAS Machine and then selecting "Combat Simulations." Now scroll over to the Freedom Chronicles tab and you will find all three challenges available. While hovering over a challenge map, tap three times to toggle the difficulty to "I am Death Incarnate!"

These challenges are areas from Gunslinger Joe's Campaign where you'll be required to get from Point A to Point B while fighting Nazis along the way (with the exception of the second challenge map, which is mainly just surviving waves of Nazis). Fortunately, you don't actually have to net the score required to get the "I am Death Incarnate!" medal for this achievement. Instead, all you really need to do is complete the simulation.

Combat play style will vary from player to player, so there is no set strategy for each map. That said, feel free to refer to THIS GUIDE, courtesy of nekov4ego, as a means of completing this simulations efficiently.

    Kill General Dunkel

This achievement is story-related and cannot be missed.

  • Beat "The Diaries of Agent Silent Death" on "I am Death Incarnate" difficulty or higher

The "I am Death Incarnate!" difficulty is the game's second hardest difficulty. Each of the three Volumes in this DLC can generally be tackled loud or stealthily, but you'll soon notice that stealth is almost always the viable option given Valiant's suppressed pistole. At other times, it's perfectly fine to go loud; sit at a doorway, lean out, and kill the enemies as they come funneling towards your position.

As always, keep these key tips in mind during your playthrough:

    • Throwing knives can be picked up after thrown
    • Your armor will be capped at 40
    • Time slows down slightly when an enemy guard has you in their sights
    • Killing Commanders while undetected prevents reinforcements from being called in
    • Dual-wielding increases damage output, but reduces your accuracy
    • Use the lean feature to your advantage when taking on enemies from behind cover; in fact, abuse the lean feature often
    • While sprinting, the enemies will have trouble shooting at you from a distance
    • Avoid using melee executions during combat entirely; the animation lasts too long
    • Reaching certain sections of a mission will force the game to despawn enemies behind you, even if they were on alert
    • Many, if not all sections of a mission will still be accessible after passing through them, allowing you be return and collect ammo, armor, or health
    • You can distract enemies via throwing knives

Once you defeat General Dunkel at the end of the game, escape the base, and the final cutscene begins to play out, the achievement will unlock.

  • Beat "The Diaries of Agent Silent Death" on "Mein leben" difficulty

A successful, uninterrupted playthrough on "Mein leben" should take around half an hour to complete depending on your playstyle. Feel free to utilize the commentary-assisted video walkthrough below, courtesy of KreeperV.

NOTE #1: For an additional video walkthrough, there's also THIS GUIDE by nekov4ego. Thanks for the excellent walkthrough, nekov4ego!

NOTE #2: This Episode works a little differently than "The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe" in that you are not returned to the Main Menu after completing a Volume. Despite this difference, the game will still track which missions you have completed on "Mein leben." For example, once you have completed Volume 1, you can still die on Volume 2 or Volume 3 without needing to redo already-completed Volumes. Do keep in mind, though, that you still cannot shut off your console in between Volumes, as this will wipe progress.

  • Beat the Sacramento challenge on "I am Death Incarnate" difficulty

This challenge will unlock after "Volume 1: Gestapo Office" has been completed on any difficulty.

Please refer below to "Lunar Medalist" for more information regarding challenge maps.

  • Beat the Hollywood challenge on "I am Death Incarnate" difficulty

This challenge will unlock after "Volume 2: Paragon Film Studio" has been completed on any difficulty.

  • Beat The Moon challenge on "I am Death Incarnate" difficulty

This challenge will unlock after "Volume 3: Gamma Base" has been completed on any difficulty.

These challenges are essentially areas from Agent Silent Death's Campaign where you'll be required to get from Point A to Point B while fighting Nazis along the way. Fortunately, you don't actually have to net the score required to get the "I am Death Incarnate!" medal for this achievement. Instead, all you really need to do is complete the simulation.

Combat play style will vary from player to player, so there is no set strategy for each map. That said, feel free to refer to THIS GUIDE, courtesy of nekov4ego, as a means of completing these simulations efficiently.

DLC: The Deeds of Captain Wilkins

There are 10 achievements with a total of 180 points

  • Return to America

This achievement is story-related and cannot be missed.

This challenge will unlock after "Volume 1: Blacksun" has been completed on any difficulty.

  • Destroy the cannons of Kodiak Island

This achievement is story-related and cannot be missed.

This challenge will unlock after "Volume 2: Kodiak Island" has been completed on any difficulty.

  • Stop the Sun Gun

This achievement is story-related and cannot be missed.

This challenge will unlock after "Volume 3: Final Mission" has been completed on any difficulty.

  • Find all readables in "The Deeds of Captain Wilkins"

In total, there are twenty-four readables to find in order to unlock this achievement. More specifically, there are eight readables within each Volume.

This collectible set generally consists of notes, newspapers clippings, or journal pads that are scattered around the missions. As such, be sure to explore every inch of every area carefully. Remember, you can always check your mission collectible progress at any time by opening the Journal and referring to the menu's "Extras" tab. Likewise, the game will automatically save any collectibles that you immediately pick up, so feel free to quit the mission once you grab what you need.

  • Find all gold in "The Deeds of Captain Wilkins"

In total, there are twelve pieces of gold to find in order to unlock this achievement. More specifically, there are four pieces of gold within each Volume.

Most of these collectibles will require deep exploration as they are usually tucked away in areas that are not always directly taken when tackling the main objective of a mission. Remember, you can always check your mission collectible progress at any time by opening the Journal and referring to the menu's "Extras" tab. Likewise, the game will automatically save any collectibles that you immediately pick up, so feel free to quit the mission once you grab what you need.

Please refer below to the collectible video guides, broken out by Volume, courtesy of Der Noob - Game Guides. This guide can be followed during your playthrough or on a mop-up playthrough on one of the lower difficulties.

  • Beat "The Deeds of Captain Wilkins" on "I am Death Incarnate" difficulty or higher

The "I am Death Incarnate!" difficulty is the game's second hardest difficulty. Each of the three Volumes in this DLC can generally be tackled loud or stealthily. Unlike Joe's Campaign (but similar to Silent Death's), you have access to silenced handguns and lethal throwing objects, which means you should aim to utilize stealth gameplay whenever possible. That being said, it's quite alright if you'd rather bunker down behind some cover and start a raucous until everyone is defeated.

As always, keep these key tips in mind during your playthrough:

    • Throwing hatchets can be picked up after thrown
    • Your health will be capped at 200 and does not begin to deplete until you take damage
    • Killing enemies will regenerate your health a little bit
    • Time slows down slightly when in the weapon wheel

Once you defeat General Schwarz at the end of the game, take control of the submarine, and the final cutscene begins to play out, the achievement will unlock.

  • Beat "The Deeds of Captain Wilkins" on "Mein leben" difficulty

The "Mein leben" difficulty for this DLC is actually available from the get-go. When you boot up "The Deeds of Captain Wilkins," you can toggle the difficulty by tapping until the bar in the lower right-hand side of the screen is maxed out.

On this difficulty, which is actually set to "I am Death Incarnate," you will only have one life. Additionally, you cannot save. This means that if you die during your playthrough, you are sent back to the Main Menu. Fortunately, you are able to pause your game should you need a break.

For high-level tips and strategies involved with this difficulty setting, please refer above to "Army Vet" for more information.

A successful, uninterrupted playthrough on "Mein leben" should take around one hour to complete depending on your playstyle. Feel free to utilize the commentary-assisted video walkthrough below, courtesy of KreeperV.

NOTE #1: For an additional video walkthrough, there's also THIS GUIDE by nekov4ego. Thanks for the excellent walkthrough, nekov4ego!

NOTE #2: This Episode works similarly to "The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe" in that you are returned to the Main Menu after completing a Volume. Once again, don't worry...once you have completed Volume 1, you can still die on Volume 2 or Volume 3 without needing to redo already-completed Volumes. Keep in mind that you cannot shut off your console in between Volumes as this will wipe progress.

  • Beat the Anchorage challenge on "I am Death Incarnate" difficulty

This challenge will unlock after "Volume 1: Blacksun" has been completed on any difficulty.

Please refer below to "Sub Expert" for more information regarding challenge maps.

  • Beat the Kodiak Islands challenge on "I am Death Incarnate" difficulty

This challenge will unlock after "Volume 2: Kodiak Island" has been completed on any difficulty.

Please refer below to "Sub Expert" for more information regarding challenge maps.

  • Beat the Submerged challenge on "I am Death Incarnate" difficulty

This challenge will unlock after "Volume 3: Final Mission" has been completed on any difficulty.

These challenges are areas from Captain Wilkins' Campaign where you'll be required to get from Point A to Point B while fighting Nazis along the way (with the exception of the third challenge map, which sees you surviving against a massive horde of Nazis inside a large room). Fortunately, you don't actually have to net the score required to get the "I am Death Incarnate!" medal for this achievement. Instead, all you really need to do is reach the end of the simulation.

Combat play style will vary from player to player, so there is no set strategy for each map. That said, feel free to refer to THIS GUIDE, courtesy of nekov4ego, as a means of completing these simulations efficiently.
