Super fun game. Can’t wait for more. Maybe there will be a squad setting that lets us not allow “snipers”that just sit in back and snipe instead of helping the team like a recon player should be doing? Maybe they group up snipers together?

EA has dropped a trailer revealing Battlefield 2042 Season 5: New Dawn.
This fifth season of content for Battlefield 2042 will add in a brand new map to the game, Reclaimed, inspired by Battlefield 4. This map sees a battle taking place along a secret train route, with points-of-interest such as the Crash Site, Landing Zone, Abandoned Turbine, and Military Warehouse.
Other Battlefield 4-inspired additions in Season 5 include new weapons like the GWE-46 and XCE Bar, as well as a trio of new grenades - Spring Grenade, Anti-tank Grenade, and Mini Grenade.
The Season 5 update will also bring with it some quality-of-life updates, with a new squad management system, vehicle loadout rework, and reworked vault weapons. Later in Season 5: New Dawn, a second new map, Hourglass, will be added.
