Activision has lifted the lid on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0's upcoming Season 04, which will be taking the fight to Vondel, a new Exclusion Zone evacuated due to an attack threat in the wake of Season 03's sandstorm.
A waterfront district in a Baroque European City, Vondel is home to a plot being carried out by an infamous masked soldier known as Nikto, who's hellbent on running the place. Vondel is apparently somewhere between the size of Al Mazrah and Ashika Island, with enough space for 18 Operators playing DMZ and 72 Operators for Resurgence.
The map has a Saxon castle, an abandoned Zoo, a Greek Revival-style City Hall, a football Stadium, and densely packed town houses, offering small alleyways, and other areas to explore, including a canal system. You can navigate that using Season 04's new amphibious vehicle, the TAV.
A new limited-time mode called Lockdown will also be arriving around 28th June, inspired by Hardpoint. DMZ updates, six new multiplayer maps for Modern Warfare II, new weapons are among the other new things on the Season 04 roadmap, alongside Nikto and Ana Vega as new Operators.
