@1 - Nope. You collect and transform monsters. You don't transform INTO monsters.

Developer Bytten Studio and publisher Raw Fury have today released Cassette Beasts for Xbox, bringing the game to Xbox Game Pass day one.
An open-world RPG in which you can collect and transform monsters in turn-based battles, Cassette Beasts takes you on an “imaginative” journey of exploration and friendship across the remote island of New Wirral, all to a synth soundtrack. You can play alone, or team up for two-player local co-op.
Exploring the island, you'll discover and record new monsters to cassette tapes, acquiring their abilities in the process, aiding you in your quest to find a way home. You can also fuse two creatures, creating new and powerful forms with shared elemental types, stats, and move sets - there are thousands of combinations to discover.
Cassette Beasts is out now for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, also available via Xbox Game Pass.
