Konami has officially announced the rumoured Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater remake, which seems to differentiate itself from the 2004 original, by dropping the number in the title in favour of a Delta symbol. Hence, the title is Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater.

Confirmed for Xbox Series X|S, the Snake Eater remake will offer a faithful, updated and enhanced version of Big Boss's origin story, presumably with plenty of lush foliage to hide in, and a buffet of animals to chow down on.
