Mvc 2 seems like a steal with that reductionFriday, November 25, 2011 @ 04:25 AM
There's also deals on the PC versions of Bioshock: Bioshock [full game] at 400 (1600) Bioshock 2 [full game] at 400 (1600) Bioshock 2 Minerva's Den at 400 (1600) Pretty disappointing though really, hopefully Monday will be better.Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 04:27 AM
definitely getting MvC 2 for that price! already picked up super meat boy and crazy taxi.Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 04:28 AM
Also, is it possible to start listing the GoD games as the MSP cost instead of $US? It'd make it easier for NON-US people. Fallout 3 for 1800 (2400)Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 04:33 AM
saved my points for these :(Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 04:36 AM
I can't believe a $30 digital copy of Fallout 3 is one of the 4 discounted items. And for those not in the know Full House Poker has 100GS unobtainable now so buyer beware.Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 04:37 AM
Oops $22.49 even.Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 04:40 AM
The only thing that I bought was the davinci dlc for AC:B. Why did they leave it for that long to put the dlc on sale. It would of been better if they put the dlc on sale a week before the new assasins creed came out.Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 04:41 AM
Sigh... Over 3000 MSP on my account and nothing I fancy. I hope Cyber Monday has better deals.Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 04:44 AM
I might pick up PS2, but I'm not very tickled by these. I really want the Tomb Raider: Underworld DLC to go dirt cheap, they are 800 points each, and I only paid £4.99 for the game new (that's less than 600 points equivalent!)Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 04:45 AM
This is disappointing... Amazon UK is disappointing on the games front too with only 4 games going up :/Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 05:15 AM
@2 wow thanks gonna check those out for sure.Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 05:19 AM
CRAP. They should take notes from Steam and Valve who actually know the meaning of a sale.Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 05:29 AM
Typical crap,geeze you can buy Fallout3 GOTY for around $30 in the stores no bargain's as usual....just like their REWARDS program=you have to spend to get rewarded,as where PSN+ you get rewarded for playing games go figure...Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 05:32 AM
Might get AC:B DLC. Was thinking of Full House Poker but if it has 100G unobtainable then I won't bother. @#13 It's more opinion/what you actually want more than anything. While Steam is offering a lot more sale items, there isn't one thing I want that's on offer.Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 05:34 AM
@15 And I suppose you happier with the whopping selection MS have just presented you with here? If nothing in the Steam sales interests you, while a little strange, that's fine. But you CANNOT compare this pitiful selection to anything Steam has ever put up...Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 05:43 AM
Operation FlashPoint Red River (GFWL) £6.24 on Steam for the next 6 hoursFriday, November 25, 2011 @ 05:47 AM
I picked up the Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Da Vinci DLC for 400MS last night but nothing else for me.Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 05:47 AM
@17 Yep. MS put up Fallout 3, a game from 2008, for 20 quid. Steam put Fallout NV, released last year for 4.99. Spot-the-rip-off. Also, a link, for all people that are better than these "deals" http://store.steampowered.com/Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 05:55 AM
This is more disappointing than when the Toros got second place in the cheer competition in Bring It On.Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 05:56 AM
Can you get achievements ("proper" ones, not Steam achievements) on versions bought from Steam, or is it just retail/XBL marketplace versions you can get them on?Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 05:59 AM
Lol at people actually paying for pc games... ive paid for 1 pc game and that was WoW Simply if i had a pc gaming rig i would never pay for games seeing as the pc pirate market is easier to navigate then console, hence why steam sales are absolute shite because their products are not worth anything anywayFriday, November 25, 2011 @ 06:02 AM
@21 Steam has nothing to do with Xbox so no, you can't earn achievements that count towards a persistent Gamerscore on your Xbox. Only games bought on WP7, Games for Windows live, XBLA games and retail Xbox games count towards it. But you won't care about the Achievements once you see the type of games that Steam has to offer. And Dem Sale Prices :OFriday, November 25, 2011 @ 06:04 AM
@20 yes you can get proper achievements @22 If everyone was pirating games like you who would want to make them so please shhhhhhh!!!!! Also on the GWFL Market Place Bioshock 2 is only £3.74Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 06:04 AM
@22 You know Steam set a record for the most concurrent amount of people playing one game once right? Skyrim had 250,000 people playing it at ONE particular moment. And Steam is worth circa 4 BILLION dollars so I imagine one or two people are paying for games...Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 06:05 AM
@23 Thanks, that's what I thought. I only asked as #17 said it's the GFWL version on sale on Steam.Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 06:06 AM
@23 LOl you are so wrong if the game is a GFWL title it will have the interface built in so you can earn Live achievements I should know I have Dirt 3 from Steam and othersFriday, November 25, 2011 @ 06:06 AM
Terrible selection, I want nothing from this. Not Black Friday sales, but Bad Friday sales.Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 06:09 AM
@27 ok thanks for the info, I'll have a look at the Steam sale then (although I don't really play games on my PC any more)Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 06:10 AM
@27 LOL, I'M NOT WRONG!!11!! I said: "Only games bought on WP7, Games for Windows live, XBLA games and retail Xbox games count towards it." Please point out where I said anything that's incorrect.Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 06:10 AM
Nothing I am interested in. I will be waiting until Cyber Monday for Beyond Good & Evil HD.Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 06:10 AM
Might pick up Kill Team for 400 as the trial was fun, but I already own what I'd want from the rest.Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 06:18 AM
"Steam has nothing to do with Xbox so no, you can't earn achievements that count towards a persistent Gamerscore on your Xbox". If the game is a GFWL title you get Live achievementsFriday, November 25, 2011 @ 06:23 AM
@33 thanks for clearing it up @30 cheers for the help also Leave it there, eh?Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 06:25 AM
@33 True, I did contradict myself but I did mention achievements were possible with GFWL titles. they're a dying breed though and they're few and far between. @34 Yeah, I'm just pissed off at these god-awful sales. :PFriday, November 25, 2011 @ 06:26 AM
@2 How long will Bioshock 2 on PC be 400 msp for? Only today?Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 06:26 AM
@34 yeah its not a big deal not everyone know that partly cos steam has it's own achievement listFriday, November 25, 2011 @ 06:27 AM
How is this a "Black Friday" sale? Steam has over 10 games per day at like 75% off. This is bullshit.Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 06:28 AM
I wanted Dark Void PC sales and SSFIV AE sales on pc tooFriday, November 25, 2011 @ 06:30 AM
@36 Not sure, sorry. They were the sale price all yesterday too (as was Fallout 3) but it kinda went unnoticed so thought I'd better flag it up.Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 06:31 AM
MS is too tight fisted that's why on PC they are crumbling as they don't have any market strategy. Steam is selling games for like under £10.00 GFWL will be selling the same game for £29.99-34.99 how does that make any senseFriday, November 25, 2011 @ 06:35 AM
@41 Lets just hope get a reality check for everyone's sake.Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 06:36 AM
suprised theres so much on offer but nothing i want, where are the black ops map packs, or la noire season pass or several other things i've been waited to be discountedFriday, November 25, 2011 @ 06:46 AM
Just purchased Bioshock 2 PC DLC. I noticed on that list that they have Premium Themes funny thing is the new dash board doesn't look like it supports it and that's out very soon what a bunch of crooksFriday, November 25, 2011 @ 07:00 AM
You people really need to stop complaining about themes until the dashboard comes out...Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 07:02 AM
Themes work fine on my dashboard beta. I'm in the 'Green Preview', not sure if there's different ones with different dashboard versionsFriday, November 25, 2011 @ 07:15 AM
Wtf. Fallout 3 is 9.99 brand new at almost every electronics store in the US and Canada. How is this a deal?Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 07:23 AM
Section 8 PC 49p on Amazon although the delivery is £2.00Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 07:41 AM
These deals are actually crap, Microsoft shouldn't be allowed to reduce avatar items just so they don't have to reduce decent stuff. I might buy a premium theme at best, might just keep my points and wait till monday though. Amazon must be taking a hint from MS as well cause their deals all week have been crap apart from Saints Row 3 for £24 and I couldn't get that cause it sold out within minutes, baha.Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 08:22 AM
Double Fine's Stacking is reduced from 1200 to 600 mps!Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 08:22 AM
Nothing is really jumping out at me :/Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 08:23 AM
@25 Ofcourse Steam is quite awesome, but personally i wouldnt pay for a pc game. I dont pirate my 360 games and ive never been tempted to download 360 games either. Its just how i personally see the pc game market, if devs make money on pc games its still all good. I know that swedish indie devs are very successful which is goodFriday, November 25, 2011 @ 08:25 AM
@20 It's sad that I recognize that reference, and I agree.Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 08:32 AM
I'm presuming these are for america only?Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 08:41 AM
nope everyoneFriday, November 25, 2011 @ 08:54 AM
My points are still safe.Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 08:58 AM
The Baconing is still on sale for 600MSP as well! That's the only thing I picked up today. Hoping for the rest of the DeathSpank series on Monday, or at least some New Vegas or Dragon Age 2 DLC.Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 09:23 AM
@44 they've fixed it so premium themes work. It's been changed so there are two freinds on each background piece.Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 09:38 AM
@58 thanx for the heads upFriday, November 25, 2011 @ 10:02 AM
MvC2 is a bargain for 320 points.Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 10:03 AM
Bought MvC2 for 320 MSp...the rest is a huge disappointment...maybe Monday will be better. All I want is Dragon Age 2 DLC on sale.Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 10:08 AM
You mean I waited for a week or more for these shitty deals? I thought they was going to have better ones. I wish MK dlc was on saleFriday, November 25, 2011 @ 10:09 AM
LOL, when I saw those deals, I thought I was looking in the wrong section. Blac Friday and 4 shitty deals. MS is giving ass left and right. Even fan appreciation only had one thing that I am interested in, and I'm not that picky... Hopefully they will redeem it with Cyber Monday....Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 10:19 AM
@63 That's a little unfair since they've had some pretty sweet deals all week. If they had released all the deals today as "one day deals" in stead of the "fan appreciation week", then we'd be all excited right now. That said - $30 (-25%) for a digital copy of Fallout 3 isn't a great deal or even a good one. I could go to EB today and get Fallout 3 plus all DLC in disc form for under $20. In general though, I think all of the games-on-demand are way overpriced. On top of all that, I'd have to use up a decent chunk of my monthly bandwidth cap to download it. About the DOTW/Fan Appreciation specials. I've picked up a few items, but I'm thinking about getting Crazy Taxi...I loved that game when it came out 10-11 years ago. I could get it with the Dreamcast disc but since that is the only game on the disc I actually want...I think I may just download it this week.Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 10:22 AM
If I had the points I think I'd bite for that Warhammer game. But as it stands, I don't, and I don't think I'll be running out to buy MS points.Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 10:42 AM
Let's wait for MK collection on sales next MondayFriday, November 25, 2011 @ 10:48 AM
I know these deals blow, but let's all keep in mind that CYBER Monday is three days out. That's the traditional digital deal day. If they blow it Monday, then these comments will lend more credence. Plus like #64 said, those Fan Appreciation deals are fairly decent and have been going all week.Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 10:50 AM
Only thing of interest really is Stacking and MvC2. Not sure if I want them or not. I'm gonna be getting UMvC3 eventually anyway, and I don't really need that many more fighting games. Or any right now, honestly. Stacking could wait a bit longer, personally. Here's to hoping Cyber Monday is awesome. I feel like last year's Black Friday deals were stellar.Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 10:56 AM
Wow nice price for MVC2 + It's much better than the newer ones.Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 11:45 AM
The only part of this article that made me happy was when I saw there had been 69 comments :3 After last years Black Friday, this is awful. Thanks for all the avatar stuff this week too, M$.Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 01:38 PM
@2 Where van I get Bioshock for 400? :-/Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 02:43 PM

I want MvsC but I have no points. :(Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 03:21 PM
Oh goody, avatar items.Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 05:58 PM
@#20 and #53,I completely agreeFriday, November 25, 2011 @ 07:12 PM
@21 @23 all i know is this... i buyed gta 4,warhammer dow2 40k (ie gfw ones)on steam,and i have been unlocking achievements for my xbox gamertag.Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 10:09 PM
these black friday deals suck!!! hopefully monday will be better??Saturday, November 26, 2011 @ 09:33 AM
More important, beyond good and evil 70% off on Monday, you now have no excuse to pick it up.Sunday, November 27, 2011 @ 09:24 AM
I really want some New Vegas dlc to go on sale, and some L.A. Noire, and (in my hopes and dreams) Resident Evil 4, those would make Cyber Monday pretty awesomeSunday, November 27, 2011 @ 11:21 AM
@78 Definitely buying thatMonday, November 28, 2011 @ 01:10 AM

Friday, November 25, 2011
Today is Black Friday, so in addition to the selection of Xbox Live Fan Appreciation deals currently available, for one day only you can get your hands on some additional bargains. It's actually a fairly miserly selection of four games that get price cuts today, but then again, there's still plenty to check out in the Fan Appreciation Sale.
Black Friday Deals:
There'll also be additional price cuts coming for Cyber Monday.
And here are the Fan Appreciation discounts you can still hook up through this weekend:
