Hoping North America gets these, probably Gamestop, Amazon, and Best Buy, but missions sounds like the best option and I don't want to support GamestopTuesday, February 14, 2012 @ 12:17 PM
ehhhTuesday, February 14, 2012 @ 12:18 PM
They will probably bring this out later on as DLCTuesday, February 14, 2012 @ 12:18 PM
This is going to awesome.Tuesday, February 14, 2012 @ 12:26 PM
First one was a lot of fun. Can't wait to play this. I need a June game to look forward to :)Tuesday, February 14, 2012 @ 12:28 PM
Can't wait for this game! But how about a collectors edition, i want more stuff that pre-order bonuses!Tuesday, February 14, 2012 @ 12:33 PM
I want the 'Death Rides' Missions, but I refuse to line the pockets of Game/Gamestation/Gameplay. Shopto has a sterling reputation, but it seems for the most part they don't exactly get a good deal on pre-order bonuses. So here's hoping they at least get the last, or if not, all of this become DLC or season pass content (assuming there will be one) at some point.Tuesday, February 14, 2012 @ 12:34 PM
I have a rendezvous with Death It may be he shall take my hand And lead me into his dark land And close my eyes and quench my breath- It may be I shall pass him still. I have a rendezvous with Death On some scarred slope of battered hill, When Spring comes round again this year And the first meadow-flowers appear.Tuesday, February 14, 2012 @ 12:42 PM
THE HORSEMAN COMETH!! Cant wait for this game! Going to take a couple of days off from work around release date! Loved the first game, and JOE MAD'S THE SHIT!Tuesday, February 14, 2012 @ 12:50 PM
I hope the 3rd retailer is ShopTo! Even though they're an Amazon owned site, it's strange how they don't get the same exclusives as them... Fingers crossed as I'll be getting it from them because I know the price will be good, unless Amazon math it within reason! Still can't wait for this game though!Tuesday, February 14, 2012 @ 12:51 PM
Darksiders flew under my radar for a bit, but when I finally bought it... It is an amazing game. I loved the gameplay but the story was also top notch. The ending was epically bad ass. Good sequel hook without taking away from Darksiders as a standalone.Tuesday, February 14, 2012 @ 12:59 PM
@10 I'm pretty sure Shopto are not owned by Amazon. They are still an indie retailer.Tuesday, February 14, 2012 @ 01:22 PM
Second picture looks like death with the guy who made war his pistolsTuesday, February 14, 2012 @ 01:25 PM
Didn't mean to send that. Anyway I normally preorder from GAME so the mission is a nice bonus, I also finish college for the summer in mid june so I'll be off for the release date.Tuesday, February 14, 2012 @ 01:58 PM
I've had this on pre-order with Zavvi since the 9th of August 2011! Now it looks like I will have to cancel that order and re-pre-order it with Game - I cannot miss the additional missions - let's hope the extra £5.14 it going to cost me to order it through Game is money well spent!Tuesday, February 14, 2012 @ 02:04 PM
Hate retailer-exclusive bonuses.Tuesday, February 14, 2012 @ 02:20 PM
Fucks sake Game are NazisTuesday, February 14, 2012 @ 03:06 PM
Absolutely getting sick of different DLC incentives from different stores.Tuesday, February 14, 2012 @ 03:08 PM
ok i'm sorry, but if companies are gonna do preorder bonuses for certain locations, then ALL locations should get it.Tuesday, February 14, 2012 @ 03:22 PM
@6 - Me too. Could definitely get behind a CE on this game, especially if it featured some of Joe Mad's art! @13 - Not sure if it is the same guy (I hope so, he was awesome), but really looks like the same race. I believe they were called The Builders.Tuesday, February 14, 2012 @ 04:24 PM
Love Darksiders 1. Almost finished with it. (Yes im Johnny Come Lately) BUT it means I have less time to look forward to MORE Darksiders!Tuesday, February 14, 2012 @ 09:47 PM
Woooooohoooooooooopaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!! Finally release date. Let hope not delay cos this will be amazing game. I almost loved first series so cannot wait for 2nd series. Bring it on and repeats it!!!Tuesday, February 14, 2012 @ 10:17 PM

Amazon pre-orders in both the UK and US will receive the 'Deadly Despair' pack, which allows players to cross the game's world faster with a speed boost for Death's horse, Despair. Best Buy in the US and an as-yet unspecified UK retailer will offer the 'Angel of Death' pack for pre-orders. The pack includes armour and weapons for Death with an angel-inspired design, as well as a purple visual trail following Death's crow.Sunday, March 04, 2012 @ 12:36 PM
I seriously can not wait to get my hands on this game. Sadly part one my disc broke in half without the slightest clue as to how that occur, but pretty soon I will get it again downloaded into content instead of cd. Are there any other downloadable contents that will soon be added to this new game other than the one mentioned above? =o

THQ has announced the actual, proper launch date for Darksiders II today, seeing Death sharpening his scythe in time for late June. As is the fashion in this day and age, Darksiders II will have its own set of pre-order incentives too, in the shape of a few bonus DLC packs from selected retailers.
Pre-orders at GAME and Gamestation (and GameStop in Ireland), will garner the 'Death Rides' pack, which comes with several exclusive side quests set in locations like Maker's Realm and Dead Plains. It's there that you'll be able to take on these quests, earning additional experience and loot in the process including Karn's lost treasure, spread across around two hours of content.
The 'Deadly Despair' pack meanwhile, is available for anyone pre-ordering the game from Amazon.co.uk, giving you a permanent speed boost for Death's steed, Despair. You'll be able to gallop across the vast world of Darksiders II much quicker thanks to that one, which is nice.
Finally, another retailer yet to be confirmed will be getting the 'Angel of Death' pack with an angel-inspired set of enhanced armour with matching upgraded scythes and a visual trail for Death's crow, Dust.
Darksiders II will be coming to North America on June 26th and Europe on June 29th. Check out some new pre-order screens below.
