I've seen pics of the FOV changes and they're incredible. Excited to get this patch and try them out for myself.Monday, December 17, 2012 @ 12:03 PM
Erm, having Ada's campaign from the start is a bad idea. People starting out really should play the others first since Ada's campaign doesn't really have a story of its own - it just ties up the rest.Monday, December 17, 2012 @ 12:06 PM
the QTE's were what made the game halfway difficult in the first place. no hope will be a joke once you can turn the assist on to help youMonday, December 17, 2012 @ 12:08 PM
nOObs will be happy to get Ada without doing all the work to unlock her nOObs . HumbugMonday, December 17, 2012 @ 12:09 PM
Gonna lose my 100% with the new DLC coming but that is fine. It was nice being number 1 on something though. Anyway I think that the chapter select add on is great news because going back for those serpents where annoying without a stage select for each chapter. While some might think that it's cheating to use the QTE assist for any difficulty, I welcome it as this game had way to many QTE moments for no reason and I hated them. People should still play ADA's campaign last though as it makes no sense to start with it. Camera change is a nice touch too.Monday, December 17, 2012 @ 12:53 PM
My friend just sent me this game in the mail. Right on time with all of these additions!Monday, December 17, 2012 @ 01:29 PM
@4 QTEs should not be hard at all ever. End of story. There are plenty much better ways to increase difficulty.Monday, December 17, 2012 @ 01:33 PM
Does anyone know who Ada's co-op partner is?Monday, December 17, 2012 @ 01:46 PM
@ 9 Knowing Capcom it's going to either be a faceless soldier or a duplicate Ada.Monday, December 17, 2012 @ 02:09 PM
@10 and lo and behold, its a faceless soldier!Monday, December 17, 2012 @ 03:30 PM
Loving the anti-QTE addition and the sub-chapter select, even though I won't get any real use out of the sub-chapter selection, having all story achievements. Still nice for if I just want to do something specific, and for new players. Also loving the Agent Hunt improvements, though good luck to anyone who wants a game without infinite ammo... Also still hate the Ada campaign being available at the start. It's kind of like a big "Ok so here are the things that aren't really explained in this movie. Now, go watch the movie for the first time." type deal. Makes no sense. I GUESS it kind of helps someone who doesn't give a rats ass about the story and just wants Ada for mercs though.Monday, December 17, 2012 @ 04:07 PM
@ 4 And QTE's are exactly what ruined the game for alot of people. Hell before I knew it helped to rotate both analog sticks, I couldn't even pull that stick out of that giant's back in Jakes campaign! Any QTE that asks us to rotate the analog sticks and near impossible super human speeds or constantly tap a button at super human speeds needs to be addressed. I can't even imagine how difficult the QTE's would have been on Proffessional, much more the new difficluty. Thank god if there is one for the QTE assist and finally pulling that camera back! Thank you capcom!Monday, December 17, 2012 @ 04:16 PM
Good touch .getts effing stressful them stupid qte bits an the camera angles thats always welcome.Monday, December 17, 2012 @ 04:45 PM
Was I the only one who found the QTE's to be no issue? I think I failed like.... 4 across the entire 4 campaigns.Monday, December 17, 2012 @ 05:06 PM
@15 No you weren't this entire game was easy man. I'm actually getting sick of the cry baby gamers out there that force developers to change there game because they can't do it or have the mental capacity to do what the game asks! Every game seems to get ruined by cry baby gamers, and to all you people that do complain... DID YOU PLAY GAMES IN THE 90's AND EARLY 2000's before patches and game altering endings (Mass Effect)? For gods sake this crying effected Dark Souls which was perfect difficulty wise out of the box.Monday, December 17, 2012 @ 05:13 PM
Oh man, there goes my 100% completion status :(Monday, December 17, 2012 @ 05:15 PM
@17 Same here... Good thing is i can borrow it from my brother!Monday, December 17, 2012 @ 05:26 PM
Ada's boobsMonday, December 17, 2012 @ 06:00 PM
A shitload of multiplayer achievments, I'm sure this is exactly what hardcore Resident Evil fans wanted. Go Capcom!Monday, December 17, 2012 @ 06:05 PM
Where do you find the QTE Assist option?Monday, December 17, 2012 @ 06:31 PM
Nevermind, this isn't available until January 22.Monday, December 17, 2012 @ 07:10 PM
@16 QTEs shouldn't have been in there in the first place so no ones bothered. Unless you enjoy QuickTime events...if that's the case well then you're weird. If anything they're making it harder with No hope Left. Pressing my finger on a button super fast is not my idea of "hard"Monday, December 17, 2012 @ 11:05 PM
honestly, RE6 needs to refresh the whole game... I did not like at all :(Tuesday, December 18, 2012 @ 01:56 AM
no achievements? No buy! XDTuesday, December 18, 2012 @ 03:11 AM
@#23 - QTEs were actually implemented in games a lot because when they first happened, everyone shat bricks that it was the coolest thing ever. They started out with, I think Shenmue, and it was all "WHOA, NOT SAFE IN CUTSCENES!" and it was cool because the action didn't stop, you would be able to do stuff in cutscenes as well. Somewhere down the line, someone missed the point and decided regular gameplay needed QTEs, and lots of them, which doesn't make sense. I guess it is for cinematic feel, but it generally comes off as "what?" And I'm not sure who it was that decided to make boss fights in games into QTE-fests.Tuesday, December 18, 2012 @ 07:37 AM
new chieves :DTuesday, December 18, 2012 @ 12:03 PM
Glad for all of those. Fuck the haters, this just made the game so much better. Better view around you (which was my main complaint), ability to turn off QTE (my second biggest complaint) and co-op for Ada campaign. And all free! That's pretty awesome, if I might say so myself=)Sunday, December 23, 2012 @ 06:47 PM
