Ubisoft has slapped dates on all three episodes that will make up the Assassin's Creed III: The Tyranny of King Washington DLC, which will be starting with the first episode 'The Infamy', later this month.

Boasting a narrative set within an alternate reality, The Tyranny of King Washington sees George Washington becoming king and going completely mad with power. You'll be able to snap up the first episode on February 19th, while the other episodes will arrive each month thereafter. Here's the release schedule:

  • Assassin’s Creed III – The Tyranny of King Washington: The Infamy - February 19th - 800 MSP
  • Assassin’s Creed III – The Tyranny of King Washington: The Betrayal - March 19th - 800 MSP
  • Assassin’s Creed III – The Tyranny of King Washington: The Redemption - April 23rd - 800 MSP

The Tyranny of King Washington also imbues Ratonhnhaké:ton (AKA Connor) with mystical powers, including the Power of the Wolf that renders you invisible and allows you to summon a pack of wolves, Eagle Flight, which enables you to get around the game world much faster and Bear Might, which grants incredible strength.

You'll be able to grab each episode from Assassin's Creed III: The Tyranny of King Washington for 800 microsoft Points apiece, or get them all with the Season Pass for 2400 MSP. Here's a video looking closer at Ratonhnhaké:ton, his new powers, new look and war paint.

  • And December 2013 no doubt they will all go down half, I will wait. :D
  • Hmm, may have to get AC3. Would you guys recommend it? Or is it not as revolutionary (ha) as AC2?
  • Love this game but not too sure on all these powers etc :/
  • Couldn't they have released this all as one DLC?
  • Anything else included in the Season Pass? It doesn't look like much of a deal if not.
  • Guessing this means you won't have access to your Assassin abilities in these episodes. Power of the Wolf because you stand out a lot, Eagle Flight probably allows you to move from rooftop to rooftop without worrying as much about distance, and Bear Might...Falcon Punch?
  • I sold this the week after I bought it, I won't be buying it back, or buying any other AC game in the future. You let me down, Ubisoft.
  • @5 Well there's also the already released MP pack, the Hidden Secrets pack, and then any other MP packs that come out. Would be shocked if there weren't more MP packs.
  • I never thought Ubisoft rape !
  • I'm just gonna wait for the complete edition. It'll have all the DLC for cheaper than I can buy the game used right now.
  • Haven't even cracked open my copy of AC3 yet but will sometime, will you BARAD, might not be until December lol I seem to have a 1 year window between purchase and actually playing a game.
  • @2 It's a fun game but is tone different then the past games and is damn slow to pickup, first few hours might be boring and the game is damn glitchy But despite all of it's flaws I loved it but no doubt it could have been far more better
  • 800 MSP each. They can stick that right up their Ratonhnhakéton's
  • What happened to all the dlc being available by the middle of march? Now I have to buy it in April as well?
  • I'll use these powers as often as I used bow and arrow, guns, poison and rope darts, and 90% of the available weapons in this game...slim to none. It's one thing to have this available to you, it's another to actually do something with them. I rarely found instances where it was necessary.
  • @13 hahaha that was a good one ;D
  • I'll go ahead and buy these when they come out...but this is the last AC game I buy. Sorry, Ubi. At least you redeemed yourself with Far Cry 3 last year.
  • I will buy. AC3 was my game of the year and I can't stress how much I enjoyed it. This DLC have achievements? I'd like to push the old score up while enjoying Connor's war.
  • this game was a huge dissapointment just like brotherhood and revelations the multiplayer takes away from the singleplayer story which is messed up (conors part, desmonds was fine) and honestly if i could i would go back and tell myself to not waste the money on it and get something decent
  • Agree with @1. I will wait for inevitable price discount. Not sure about the story or the powers if I'm honest, however I'm willing to wait and see the reviews and feedback before I pass my judgement. lol
  • Am I the only one that read, "The Tranny King Washington". I'm in the same boat as #11. Got it day 1, and it's still just sitting there. I will play it one day... I assume.
  • Wow. I would rather have seen some "canon" DLC...
  • @21 rofl now that would make for some odd DLC... As for these I may pick them up when reduced at a sale, but full price, they will probably only be about 2 hours playtime each if following previous standards.
  • I quite enjoyed the game. And I'm lookig forward to this DLC. I'm not too sure on these powers yet though, seems a bit too crazy. I'll probably love them when I play it as this DLC just seems to be a fun and wacky campaign that's not supposed to make sense. Luckily I got the Season Pass on release so I don't have to worry about having enough points. 800 is a bit much each time. Either put all three down to 600 or have them all for 1200 at once
  • Why can't they just release them as one DLC? $30 is steep
  • i guess they do not like to stick to what they originally said about the dlc all be available by march? @25 they do not release them as 1 dlc so that the people that bought the season pass think they are not being ripped off because they are getting 5 dlc's instead only getting 3
  • @8: It's been spoken of before that there'd be 5 DLC packs, 3 single player and 2 multiplayer: 1. Battle Hardened 2-4: The Tyranny Of King Washington 5. MP DLC pt. 2 presumably I actually bought this looking forward to the both SP & MP, but I probably haven't put the game in my disc tray since December. Waiting for the Season Pass to drop in price.
  • I'm with you @27. The Season's Pass is clearly a money saver if individual purchases rack up to $50. Why not just wait for a cheaper deal on the deal? Makes sense to me.
  • @27 The Hidden Secrets Pack was the first DLC, then came Battle Hardened, and with the three pieces of this upcoming DLC, that's five.
  • @29 That shouldn't really count since it only includes the DLC from preorders and collector's editions, so some people already had parts of it. There might have been one or two new bits in there, but if they count that then I'll be really upset.
  • Gonna wait for it all to be released before picking it up, though I AM looking forward to some of these nifty new powers Connor seems to be getting. That Eagle Power could have been VERY HANDY during the Charles Lee chase...
  • @29 well be upset because the Hidden Secrets DLC was the first...sorry.
  • @31 I doubt the effect can be used while running and there's no way to creep after him, so that plan is out my friend. But I could be wrong. @32 Yeah, I honestly believed it was, but I still pray lol. But hey, this gives me an excuse to wait for a sale.
  • People actually like this game??
  • Hopefully, they will release like a GOTY edition.
  • I used to be a fan of this series but this game was horrible. Don't buy this garbage.
  • as long as the gamerscore including all five packs comes to 1500G then i'll be happy.
  • Will wait for the complete edition and will spare about 75% of the price. Just with all the other games in the series.
  • This game is good. If ya don't like it, keep ya mouth shut and go and play your crappy call of duty.
